This was rather surprising as there were no indications of a problem and my car is relatively new. So I went to another mechanic that I trust to have it checked out and he told me there was nothing wrong with the car. He also told me that he sees more and more people coming in after getting their oil checked by Cousins and being told they need all sorts of work done. I also told an acquaintance about my experience and he told me that his mechanic says the same thing - people come in crying because Cousins told them all sorts of things were wrong with their cars and he checks and finds it not true.

They let me keep my car in their lot for about a month with no charge while I tried to work out replacement with the dealer. On another occasion they helped me this winter when my other car started to rattle like crazy after the back to back snow storm. They brought my car into their garage and let it warm up so they could remove snow caked inside the wheel wells. I got an oil change at the same time and they only charged me for that and provided me with a loaner for no charge!
