This may sound ridiculous but I had just come from a few other mechanics that had spoken to me in a "you're a woman and have no idea what you're talking about mechanically" kind of tone. Back to the point. He proposed a few different brands and types of tire for my car. He gave me the pros and cons of each, answered all the questions I had, and did not at all pressure me to make a decision on the spot. After thinking about it for a night and doing a little research, I contacted him and requested the tires which his own wife has on her car. I mean that's a piece of mind right there. He was quick to reply and scheduled me for an appointment before an impending snow storm. The work was done quickly and the price was incredibly reasonable. When I picked up my car he requested I follow up with him on how the tires do in the snow. I did follow up with him as the tires were just as he described - reliable. He also includes a free tire rotation with every oil change so I now know where I'm going for all my mechanical needs. I can't say enough about John's workmanship and customer service.

This was rather surprising as there were no indications of a problem and my car is relatively new. So I went to another mechanic that I trust to have it checked out and he told me there was nothing wrong with the car. He also told me that he sees more and more people coming in after getting their oil checked by Cousins and being told they need all sorts of work done. I also told an acquaintance about my experience and he told me that his mechanic says the same thing - people come in crying because Cousins told them all sorts of things were wrong with their cars and he checks and finds it not true.

They let me keep my car in their lot for about a month with no charge while I tried to work out replacement with the dealer. On another occasion they helped me this winter when my other car started to rattle like crazy after the back to back snow storm. They brought my car into their garage and let it warm up so they could remove snow caked inside the wheel wells. I got an oil change at the same time and they only charged me for that and provided me with a loaner for no charge! Highly recommend this business that takes care of their customers above and beyond compared to most mechanics I have dealt with, absolute 5 star rating!
