When you're here, you pause and take in the "sweet like Yemeni tea" ambiance, service and flavors. Plenty of parking as it is in a strip center. Inside the lighting & service is warm and inviting like the hug of the latte or tea you're about to be wrapped in & the design is clean, Yemeni Architectural Minimalism. There were so many options to choose from that we opted for: Sand Dune Latte - with oat milk, that was my favorite, it was the right sweetness without overbearing the coffee. Could savor the cardamom & honey. Yemeni Latte was a bit more on the bitter earthy with spiced sweetness for me. It was fine, my friend liked it. Although we did get them for dine in, unfortunately, they were not served in coffee mugs so we didn't get the camel latte art that we've seen on Arwa's Instagram. Their pastries looked like works of art, though didn't try them, I still think about them and wanting to return. They also have some really nice merch and really the detail that they put into the design of the space is incredible. It's not just a building, but an experience. While this location is a distance for me, in Richmond, (Sugarland) there is one being opened closer off Westheimer. Looking forward to that.

Cute hideout spot. Good for studying. Looks new and really clean. Quaint little spot. Service was quick on a Friday. Tried the adeni tea and jubani coffee for food. Wish the front hostess told us that the jubani coffee doesn't come with milk.

The experience here was truly excellent. The coffee tastes well-balanced and smooth, not overly sharp or bitter. I had the pistachio latte which was very well-done and not super sweet either. Didn't taste artificial or "syrup-y" as some specialty latte's tend to be. Wayyy way better than what I've had at the various Yemeni coffee shops back home. Also the interior design is beautiful and great to work from or just hang out in for a few hours. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

-purchased their candle $25, Ibb. New favorite. Arabesque with a hint of floral -sand dune latte was so tasty, strong notes of cardamom and honey -honeycomb bread is my favorite in the area, milk buns saturated in honey -the coffee shop is very clean, lots of seating. They're a little slow at the register, but otherwise really good service Bonus, you know a shop is good when your drink still tastes amazing even with almond milk.

Pistachio latte - 9/10 - 50% sweet - Good balance of strong and sweet for me with a good amount of pistachio flavor Yemeni latte - 9/10 - 50% sweet - I liked the honey and cardamom combo, more on the bitter side since it was half sweet Biscoff latte - 7/10 - 50% sweet - Probably would be better if i got full sweet for this because it lacked biscoff flavor Adeni chai - 6/10 - 50% sweet - A bit watered down, i would personally prefer it stronger Pistachio milk cake - 9/10 - Melted in my mouth, so moist and lightly sweet Knafeh cheesecake - 9/10 - Loved this, the crunchy kanafeh with the soft/creamy cheesecake was Potato samosa - 9/10 - Good and fresh for a samosa Chicken puff pastry - 10/10 - Chicken was so flavorful, pastry was crispy Another day, another Yemeni spot in town Arwa is having their GRAND opening on Feb 15! The inside of this spot was so aesthetic and great to do work at. Overall one of the better Yemeni cafes in town but just think they need to improve their chai. Would definitely go back to try their other specialty coffees and pastries

Went on a Sunday evening and place was a a bit empty. The decor was beautifully done with neutral shades. I ordered strawberry matcha with almond milk and it was sweeter than expected but still tasted good. The Yemeni Latte was smooth and not too sweet. A bit over priced but overall a good visit. Like if this helps. Thank you!

It's beautiful, it's clean, but that's the only good thing it has going for them. Overpriced drinks and terrible service. When I came in, there was no one at the counter and I stood there awkwardly questioning if the store was even open. When people did come to the front, they didn't greet me or say anything. I asked the person serving me "What is the most popular iced refresher?" He said Dragon's Blood. I asked what was in it. He couldn't answer that question for me. He asked me if I knew what the specific fruit or berry or whatever was, and unfortunately, he was talking so low I couldn't hear what he was even saying. I asked him if he could tell me the flavor profile. If it was creamy, fruity, and he couldn't tell me that either. He had to ask his coworker what it tasted like and she just told me it tasted like mixed Berry. I got the drink and it was not mixed berry flavor whatsoever. It was an overpowering sweet candy flavor in this dark drink. It literally tasted like I was just drinking syrup, or drinking candy. I'm frustrated that it was recommended to me and I feel like it was a completely inaccurate description of what it actually was. For $7.50 I would expect to enjoy my drink, but unfortunately, I was not only disappointed but lost eight dollars in the process. When I got my drink I said thank you and the person serving me did not even respond to me. I have no intention of coming back here.

One of the nicest Yemeni coffee shops I've been to. That flight sampler with these yummy sweets definitely made my day as well as the Hot Yemeni Latte, the puff pastry stuffed with beef, and that blueberry mousse. Staff very friendly, definitely recommend this spot to anyone!!!

Ambiance is nice, decor is great, service is also good, but when it comes to food and drinks, definitely lacking and has room for improvement. Coffee drinks tasted to water down with a hint of over roasted coffee. Adeni tea is good but could be better. Don't get the cinnamon roll if you want real cinnamon, it's just a bread with pistachio cream bought from the store. Cheese cake was dry but not bad. The lime viral cake was ok too.

We live in Aliana and decided to try out this new Yemeni coffee location that opened up nearby. We've been a huge fan of the Arabian/yemeni coffee shops in the Richmond, Katy and Sugarland region so it was exciting to see a new addition especially in the Aliana area. Presentation and interior design is on point , well made, well lit and the colors and design is really appealing. We ordered our food and drinks, service was courteous and they explained things well when we had questions about the food and they had asked us about allergies, etc which was good. One thing that was lacking I found in this area is the lack of napkins however there were paper towels as a substitute , now this may be in regards to them being in their soft opening but I still feel like something like paper napkins should be a given even in a soft opening. However the food is the most important aspect of a food/drink location and this is where Arwa unfortunately is lacking at least in comparison to other places similar to it. We had the following -1 Chicken puff pastry -1 chicken and Jalapeño pizza -1 honeycomb -1 dragon blood refresher -1 Yemeni latte (hot) -1 sand dune latte (hot) Chicken puff pastry wise was okay , like any other location similar to this shop but compared to an Indian grocery chain especially in Missouri or Stafford, the price was a bit higher than those locations. The chicken and jalapeño pizza was okay as well however for the price it was, seemed a bit high for the portion size. The honeycomb was in my opinion the one that shocked me the most, I love the honeycomb and have gotten it from places such as Qamaria and Haraz , the price to portion size was on point at those places but unfortunately in Arwa it was like half the size for similar price. Both of the Lattes, we ordered hot but came out as lukewarm and close to the cool side which was disappointing. Looks are one thing but if it's not made the way we requested, it loses its value. The Dragon Blood refresher was great , had no issues with it. It had a great taste and look to it. All of the mistakes such as the lack of napkins and serving hot as cold may be due to beginner's mistake but the pricing and portion size of some of the food items was disappointing. Hopefully they make changes to improve as other places have done better.

I got the biscoff tres leches and my sissy got the pistachio tres leches and it was amazing!!

Recommend for sweet tooths. -Nice and quiet store, relatively clean -Like the nice variety on the menu. Cons -I didn't particularly like the pandan matcha. It wasn't very flavorful to me. Perhaps the flavor is with the syrup and I had requested half sweet. I wouldn't get it again. -My friend got the banana matcha, and she said it was ok and could do better with the banana flavor and cream. -The self-checkouts can be difficult to get things scan properly. -There seems to be a lot of ads for new items, but it's not on the menu.

I was just in town for the weekend for a friend's baby shower and I swear they have some great places to eat and drink in this area. Very cute little spot and most everything is as usual credit card base and touch screens. I was going to go to the counter but decided to go to the touch screen so I could browse through the menu. I hate when I'm at a new place and don't know what I want gives me anxiety...lol So I got the limited horchata milk tea 50% sweet and a small order of karaaga (spelled wrong I'm sure) chicken and when I tell you the chicken came out popping hot! Wow so good! Even at 50% the milk tea was not too sweet so I might could have went up to maybe 75% or they do have the option to use a sugar free substitute. So that's a great option only if it's stevia..lol. I can't stand Splenda just gross.. When I visit Katy I will definitely stop by again and try a few other items. Service was quick and friendly! But I know that's how us Texans get down!
