Coming to this location has been one of the best experiences I've ever had at a Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The workers were attentive and friendly and answered all of my questions. I came here to redeem a free birthday smoothie, and they guided me through the process to redeem it. When we went, it wasn't busy during Sunday lunchtime. I love how the natural light fills the open space inside. They have plenty of seating, including bar stools, tables, and chairs. To celebrate my special day, I opted for their blueberry bliss, and P2 ordered a Bahama Mama. Our smoothies were quickly prepared to order and were delicious when they arrived. They also have clean, individual restrooms that are well-stocked with paper towels and soap. The place is nicely decorated and seems like a great place to hang out with friends or get some work done. unfortunately i have to leave a bad review here. mainly because i notice the training of the employees are lacking quite a bit. no one greets you when you walk in, there isn't even eye contact. almost like you do not exist... the employees are visibly unhappy, and they're barely wanting to talk to you at all. i don't know whether it stems from lack of sufficient pay, or an uninspiring working environment, but on almost every visit over the past couple of years, there are no "hi welcome to tropical," or "thank you see you again." these kind greetings and salutations goes a long way with maintaining a good customer rapport thus leading to continuous business. but i can no longer support this particular location when the owners aren't taking employee training seriously, but right across the street, the new smoothie king's employees are very kind, warm and inviting. so this is not to slander tropical smoothie cafe as a whole, because i really enjoy their menu options and have been supporting this business since i was a teenager, it is just a constructive criticism in hopes this location can improve since it is in a nice neighborhood and very convenient. read more

I love stopping in at Tropical Smoothie Cafe whether it be for a wrap, quesadilla or one of their delicious smoothies! This location is definitely one of my favorites. The staff is super quick and attentive so I'm always in and out, which helps because I'm usually stopping in on my way into work. If I'm ever in a rush I'll sometimes opt for ordering ahead using the app which comes in handy and gives rewards if you frequent TSC often. This location is cleaner than some or the other locations I've visited and the fresh fruit is actually fresh. No brown spots on the bananas or anything like that. I can always count on my order to be made correctly and with a smile, even if I take a while to decide considering all the great options they have available. Prices are higher than some smoothie places but they're also a bit larger. I wish they offered different sizes. Smoothies only come in one size. I'll be the first harsh criticism on here..... mainly because tropical smoothie is a west coast thing--as much as Texans hate other places, they're cashing out on this franchise. Upon waking in, I felt like a little elementary child once again, we had tropical smoothie in Vegas and it was my after school stop before going home. The store was clean, organized and it felt open. Cookies are a new thing and a few items on the food menu. I was sure to let the cashier know, if I was set up for disappointment I'd be "pissed." I ordered the usual, sunrise sunset for me, the chocolate chimp for my son and a Baja chicken wrap.... that was the only thing that was off... it use to be on a flat bread, but I get it new menu options. Hit or miss every time I go. 1. Supplements are 99 cents, as stated on the sign in front of the register. Multiple times now I have been charged double that amount and had to get refunded. 2. This past visit has prompted me to write this review. Not only did I already get overcharged for my supplement, but I have been getting the same drink with pea protein added in it every time. Walking out of the store, I tasted my drink and thought that it tasted different like a regular smoothie without any supplements. I ran back in and double checked if they added the pea protein, to which the manager said yes. Pea protein has a very distinctive taste in every single smoothie I've gotten, and I am pretty sure they didn't add it overall since it also wasn't written on the cup (they write your exact order on there). UPDATE: Just went back to Tropical Smoothie again, re-ordered the same drink with pea protein, and it tastes completely different than the first one I had gotten earlier. What a selection this place has! Tried it this morning for my first time after my workout and I will be back! The guy working here was so nice and he helped me with the best options for my post workout drink. I highly recommend getting the chia banana max after a workout. I didn't like this place. The smoothie is very mediocre, the boosters are sometimes just a pill blended in...and costs $.99.
