Anthony comes off as a helpful, professional person however he's a scam artist. He arrives at my house December 24th. I moved here in June & I needed the upstairs unit which is ran off a gas furnace turned on & inspected for safety. Anthony seems to be experienced with the furnace. He changed the wire & claim that he blew the furnace in & out ( cleaning it out) He sent me an invoice for 386.86 for the cleaning & wire replacement. He also stated that I needed a new valve which I would pay for & it would be delivered to my address. I paid for it & never received it . He came back out January 24th (yesterday) because the furnace was flaming up really high with fire , the flame went down immediately upon turning the heat down but raised concerns, plus when I called he stated that he was coming out anyway to replace the valve. He came out & stated the high eruption of flames came from the debris inside of the furnace indicating it needed to be cleaned & the valve he ordered was the wrong one & he would have to return Friday with the right one & he would send me a service fee of $75.00 & left I went to the basement where water is all over the floor which I have a dry basement & he left the water hose that needs a valve running really low but running water from the furnace. I called him immediately & I explained that he needed to come & turn this valve off, & also that I thought I paid for cleaning of the furnace . He explains that I never paid for a cleaning & that he was in Wellington on another job & wouldn't get back to me until 6ish ( if he could) at this point I'm livid & realizing that I have been scammed out of my money & the service he billed me for I never received. I asked him how could he leave to go to another job when he hasn't completed the first job . He hangs up on me & I haven't heard back from him since. Phone going to voicemail & no reply. MY HEAT WENT OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT , I couldn't reach a company that was a 24 hr service . It was freezing , I found A's Heating And Cooling an not only were the6 a 24 hr company, they got to me within the hour .. The Tech quickly Diagnosed the problem , explaining everything along the way.. got my house nice and toasty .. price was fair . Came over to fix a pipe leaking issue in the basement and left me worse. He charged me $140 for the work and I contacted him cause I fixed and spent another $80 and asked for some money back he dicked me over and never came thru. Do not trust him as a plumber not sure of his other work. read more

A's Heating and cooling in Cleveland, Ohio came to my house to check out my furnace on Sept 9th 2023 and determined that it needs a new control board. He said it would cost $266.00 and needed a deposit. He asked that I send it through cash app and I send $125.00 plus he got $10 in cash. He emailed that the part was ordered and would be delivered to my house and to call him when it got there. Part never came and when I tried to contact him via phone and email he wouldn't respond for a while. Finally we talk around October 12th and I said just give me my money back I am not going to use your service. He said he would refund my deposit minus the $85.00 service call by check instead of just sending back through cash app. Today is October 19th and I have not received my refund, nor will he respond to calls or emails. Anthony came very quickly (same day) and didn't stop working until our AC unit was fixed. Told us everything he was doing and gave us a fair bill considering the expedient service and quality/duration of work performed. He was also very nice and friendly. Great service. Fast, on time. He helped to troubleshoot an issue with my smart thermostat not working. Discovered it is indeed a defective thermostat and not the connections or wiring. And showed me how to hot-wire the AC to stay on until I receive a replacement thermostat device. Highly recommend! read more

A's started out great. Answered my request to look at a humming AC. Anthony came the same day. Looked at unit and installed a 350$ piece. However, I didn't get a say in if I wanted that piece went in. When i came back outside he said we are good now cuz I replaced the "something"- don't remember the name. So I did ask him if this isn't the reason for the problem what then? Meaning if the humming comes back what then. He said "then i come back and replace the problem-don't worry". ok so all i spend 490.00 on about 1hr of time. 6 hrs later the humming came back. I called Anthony and got nothing. Later a text and from point on nothing but a run around. Said he could get new unit and replace. Said then he could get a less expensive unit and said by the text day. Decided to do that. HOWEVER Anthony did not show. Finally said truck broke down. Waited all day. That was a Friday. Told me he would try and get to me this weekend. He then text to say he picked up yet another unit that was yet 300$ more then the first. I did not talk to him at all about this" used unit". He did that all on his own. Not a phone call nothing. Still will not answer phone only will text me about this. I finally decided this did not feel right. He also only gave me a 200$ credit after the "fix"did even work for a day So through text I told him I would not be using him. I am out nearly 500.00. So please be aware of this contractor and make sure you try and communicate before you get anything done. read more

When our AC unit went down the day before the forecast called for a heatwave, I went into panic mode. After about a dozen calls to companies that wouldn't be available until July (!!!) I was relieved to hear back from Anthony through Yelp, telling me he would be available the next day. He was on-time, professional and persistent in solving all the various issues that sprouted up due to the neglected state of the air conditioning unit. I appreciated that he did not immediately (or at all) try to up-sell me on a new unit or upgrades. My rooftop AC was a pain to get to and my building is difficult to navigate, but he maintained a positive attitude and sense of humor throughout the process. When we were unable to get it all sorted out during his initial visit, he vowed to return the next morning (before the heatwave struck) and then told me he had been troubleshooting it in his head throughout the night. After being forced to spend entirely too much time with me, both on the roof and in my crawl space, Anthony nailed down all the problems and remained to make sure the unit was up and running properly. His prices were incredibly reasonable and the results of his work, perfection! As I sit here in my comfortably cool apartment unit while the sun burns down outside, I am grateful to Anthony and happy to recommend him to anyone in need of AC repair! read more

I will never patronize this guy again. I always look for minority owned businesses to hire. So I find a's heating & cooling online and I have him do an air conditioner repair and after one day the repair that he charged me $572 failed. It took me a few attempts to get him back to my house at which time he tells me that I need to replace the whole system. My first thought was why he didn't tell me that during the initial visit. Even after that I was willing to have him finish the job since he started it and we could have negotiated a price. He said that he'll get back to me the next day with a price for the new a/c unit, well it's been two weeks since and after numerous attempts to contact him he won't respond. read more
