I had been wanting to get into Philly to try Asad's but to be honest, I have to plan the day out to convince myself to go into Philly so when I heard about them opening in Burlington, game changer. I was heading home from a park with dog and thought this wasn't far from there and went with it. Beautiful day out to be standing in a line waiting for chicken. The line did move quickly and after you ordered, you shuffled to the other line. Everyone's orders were being called out chronologically. Short menu and to the point. It's a great business concept. I too as most of the reviews, went with the Loaded Fries. Gigantic doesn't explain it. It was just me eating. Had it for a few meals. Delicious. Crisp on the outside fries, seasoned, juicy chicken, mild seasoning which still had a nice kick to it. Real saucy. I suppose my only complaint would be could I for once order this like a half size? This is a new business, Always see a line at this place, and was wondering what all the height was about... The service was quick and easy. It is a grab bingo takeout spot. Plenty of options for how you want your chicken. Ended up going with extra hot for the sandwich and tender. With the size of the small Coke cans just give a free drink with the combo, Fries were ok. Best part was the banana pudding soft cookie on top with the great sweet and creamy combo. No inside seating on a hot day loses a star. Not sure how long the hot chicken trend will stay strong and how long here can last with no seating and IFC and Dave's as other options not too far away. read more

The line wasn't terribly long so I stopped. The fries were great not sure how they were seasoned but they were great. I got a hot sandwich I shoulda got extra hot or reaper. The chicken was cooked perfectly but I was expecting more flavor it was a little bland. After all the hype I was a little disappointed. Tried Asad's in Burlington, NJ because it's closer than Dave's. The menu is almost identical. Beware that the sliders are not sliders. They are full size chicken sandwiches on brioche buns. Choose your heat level, just like Dave's. I picked the mild heat. Chicken was tasty and the heat level was good. My complaint was that the buns were stale and the chicken had the tendons in them. First off this is strictly a takeout spot. You order at the window, grab your food at the next window and go elsewhere to eat/find seating. The sliders were large and come on a huge fluffy bun. I personally prefer a denser bun. The chicken was huge, nicely seasoned and juicy on the inside. I ordered the extra hot and there was barely a noticeable tingle on my tongue. If you like spicy food definitely go for reaper. The fries on the side were nice and crispy even though they were thicker cut than I normally like. They don't normally come with cheese but you can ask for it. Overall price to food ratio is great and the flavors are spot on. Will need to come back and see if reaper is spicy enough for this place to really be called hot chicken. read more

The chicken is good quality but the fry was not as crispy and the extra hot seasonings was just not extra hot by far.. The fries were very good and had some good spice along with the cheese fries both were very good and not an average side. As u compare to Dave's and Popeyes it falls above Popeyes but doesn't beat Dave's Hot Chicken.. I would return if in the area as drove 29 minutes to finally try Asads.
