Well, that was $45 and an hour and a half of my life I can't get back. The Union House was beyond disappointing. We should have known by the empty parking lot at lunchtime on a weekend. My salads "vinaigrette" was oily and bland - the biscuits were dry and tasteless and the pulled pork sandwich was soggy, sparsely sauced and flavorless. Our server was... well, we had one. She was there mostly for the socialization rather than serving. All around Union House was disappointing. I'm being generous with the 2 stars. We would not recommend and will not return.

Pretty good- the oysters were not fresh but everything else was great. The overall vibe was nice

BURLINGTON: The Union House is a block off the main strip of the downtown area and is a great find if you are looking for outdoor dining with your pup! The very spacious patio allows leashed and friendly dogs to join you for lunch and dinner and offers a large menu to please any palette. We stopped in for a drink and enjoyed a warm fall day under the covered outdoor bar. It can get a bit hot on the patio depending on the sun angle, so make sure your pup is comfortable.

Went for a late winter Sunday brunch date with reservations. Warmly welcomed and no wait to be seated. Great casual but trendy vibe inside. Atmosphere was cool and bustling but not overwhelming. Sat in a booth by the bar. Service was great. We both enjoyed a cider sangria off the sesonal cocktail menu. It was so good we ordered another round. Shared the cheese board, chicken and waffles. All were delish. Probably wouldn't get the cheese board again unless we had more people with us. Huge portions for just a couple but still loved all of it. Also played the ring toss bar game a bit between our drinks. Had fun interacting with folks sat at the bar. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back for date night or with a group. Also cant wait to check out their brunch in warmer weather when their outdoor space is open.

Food: Burgers were delicious, crab cakes where not too breaded. Wings came with sauces on the side and fried to perfection. Mimosas carafes can be shared between two people. Service/Ambiance : indoor and outdoor seating available. Has a southern vibe in doors with the decor. Great customer service from Gabrielle who also make great recommendations. The kitchen does allow you to make substitutions which was great. No complaints wonderful experience, we did not feel rushed to leave even when we were done eating with bill paid and still kept yapping away . Wonderful local gem !

Friendly quick service . Ordered green fried tomatoes as appetizer. Union house burger and craft beer. Food was very good. Prices alittle pricey for what you get. But a sign of the times. Overall a nice place .

We had a delicious lunch at The Union House! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable and had a good experience. Their menu is very diverse, so there is definitely something for everyone here. We got the bean burger and the mushroom sandwich. Both were really good! I personally preferred the mushroom sandwich, which was comprised of fried oyster mushrooms (some of my favorite!), but both were perfect vegetarian sandwiches. We came back later at night to get their spinach and artichoke dip as a snack. While we enjoyed this, it did not live up to the two sandwiches.

Union House delivered! Great service and delicious food are what you can expect. Union House offers a wide variety of beer and drink options. We visited during restaurant week in Burlington County. A three course meal was available for a reasonable $36 pp. You get an appetizer, entree and desert for the special price. I opted not to order the specials but I did order one of the entree options: Smoked meatloaf. Served over garlic mash a long side string beans this entree offered plenty to eat! The only setback for the Union House is that the atmosphere is casual tavern, with that said given the high ceiling and table layout, the restaurant can get a bit noisy. This is a minor distraction and not a deterent. I will be back!

I like the two separate areas, one side is more of a bar with live music, and the other side is more restaurant like but still has a full bar. The pumpkin espresso martini was VERY good. The pork belly lettuce wraps were good. I feel like it could have had a little more pork, but the taste was decent enough. The Brussels sprouts were very good. My friend got the tuna, this is the second time she's ordered it and she loved it. Service was good too.

Food was delish, service by Georgia was impeccable! We had a cozy booth and enjoyed everything. Very diverse crowd which I love!! If I had to critique something it would be larger plates or side plates, as you can see by the pic it's loaded but I'm not complaining. I will recommend and return.

Our first visit and definitely won't be our last. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Asked our server what he recommended and his suggestions were on point. I had the chicken pot pie which comes with a house salad, hubby had the buffalo wings and truffle fries. Food was served piping hot. Last but not least a huge shout out to our server Juan - he was friendly, attentive and on point.

Their bar seating is limited, and every time I stop in, it's full. They have two different indoor seating rooms. We sat in the bar area dining room that has a half dozen or so tables. I liked the exposed brick look of the bar area with tasteful (not cluttered) wall decorations. You can also sit out front along the sidewalk or in a small alley out back by the kitchen. Menu wise ... I have to say I've never seen MP (market price) next to wings. Long gone are the days of ten cent or quarter wings my friends! They did have a dollar wing special on that day, so we put in for an order of Ernie's Wings - house-made buffalo sauce. buttermilk ranch. sesame seeds. scallions. wood-fired. They were fresh, a decent size and just average. The sauce flavor was adequate. I wouldn't repeat. We put in orders for two pizzas (one half and one pepp) $15 and the other was what I came for a Honey Hot Sop - red sauce. shredded mozzarella. fresh mozzarella. soppressata. hot honey. grana padano $17. The pizzas came out hot and extremely fast. The half plain, half pepp was typical. Nothing bad, nothing great with a nice char, tasty cheese and a slightly sweet/lightly seasoned sauce. The Honey Hot Sop was delicious. It had a sweet sauce, sweet yet rich buttery cheese, nice char, yummy soppressata and then a spicy peppery kick that punched you in the face. We also ordered plain fries. They were crunchy with almost a hollow core. Not a fan. I had a fresh craft hazy IPA (I'm sorry the name escapes me) that was on tap to enjoy with that wonderful hot sop pizza. They have a couple of sandwiches I'd love to try like the Chicken Fra Diablo - chicken cutlet. sharp provolone. long hot peppers. pomodoro sauce. served on a seeded roll and a cheesesteak. Our server was quick, prompt and friendly. She checked in on us several times. I'll certainly return to Itri when I get a chance. Thanks guys!

First and foremost, our server was excellent. Polite and prompt, friendly, everything you want in a server. My problem was the food ... I ordered the halibut, asked my server about the "seasonal veggies" it comes with (she mentioned asparagus, okay good) because I do love veggies, but there are some I just really do not. Unfortunately, those exact veggies arrived on the plate, and my entree looked more like stir fry. I don't like onions or peppers ... and they were the base veggie of the dish. The menu describes the "sauce" as a lemon citronette, and this dish was not at all what I was expecting. It lacked flavor, there was no sauce, not a hint of lemon (I even squeezed some on there & it didnt help :( ) I can get past some vegetables I don't eat, just pushed them to the side, but the halibut was so so so incredibly dry. It wasn't soft, or flakey, or moist. (I hate that word but it was the best way to describe what it lacked) It was like cardboard. I was trying to choke it down because I too, had just worked a serving shift for Mothers Day, & it was the first thing I was eating all day. My husband mentioned something to the server because he knew I wouldn't haha, I don't like to be a pain customer or send things back. Fortunately, they did take it off the bill, but it was just a bummer. Willing to try again in the future, & I'll just stay away from the halibut.
