Outside of Sonora, this is one of the most authentic taco de carne asada places I have visited. Service is friendly and efficient, and the ambiance is just what one can expect for an easy going venue of this genre. I ordered a taco asada plate and it was simply delicious. I have been to this place numerous times and keep coming back. The beef ribs are the best thing on the menu! Flavorful and well worth the price. The salsa and other condiments are self serve. Really average Mexican food. Went here today with a co-worker. None of the salsas were even remotely hot and not overly flavorful. We both had the pastor burritos. Didn't recall tasting any beans in the burrito and the pastor was pink pink, like neon pink. It was dry and very bland flavor. Prices are high. 2 cokes and 2 burritos and paid nearly $50. Won't be returning, very average. Spot was nice and clean though. read more

I love a good tripe taco and theirs has been one of the best I've had, they even asked if I wanted it the tripe crispy?, Heck yeah I do!!! That is the best!!!!.... My husband & son came here because of a TikTok video they seen that made them want to try it. My husband doesn't have a Yelp account and asked that I share his thoughts. He said the tripas were not cooked to his order, he requested extra crispy and they did not make them crispy. My son ordered the carne asada tacos and was disappointed after his first couple of bites as he had to take out fat & cartilage at least three times in his first taco. The food was really greasy. Fantastic food with excellent condiments. I had the Tacos Pitic. They even asked how I wanted my Tripa cooked. Not sure about the one star post but the flavor from the pastor was great. I wanted to like this place but there are better tacos in Phoenix... flavorless, some of the salsas were good but can't put too much because the tortillas are too think so you would end up eating chilaquiles instead. We ordered a little bit of everything and the carne asada was ok, the tripa tacos were a little chewy for my taste - that was the "best" from what we ordered. The beans are good, but some meat markets have better tasting beans and less pricey. Anyways service was just meh, but the place was clean. . . I will not go back. read more

Soooo good! I have high standards for tacos and these were awesome. Tortilla was thin but held nicely and had a great flavor, the carne asada was so juicy and tasted like it was cooked over a fire, had a light spread of beans, and the toppings at the salad bar were perfect. We're talking pickled onions, mango salsa, fresh pico de gallo, thinly sliced cabbage, and delicious salsas. They don't have rice or chips because it seems like they are a very authentic establishment from Sanora. My fiancé got a burrito and it was all meat! Just what you want! And you can add salsa or whatever you want but you're definitely getting your $ worth. Overall I am glad we went there and I think I found my new favorite taco spot! This place has the worst tacos I've ever had . The carne asada tacos had nothing but bone and fat . I was not able to enjoy my taco without constantly biting something hard . The "Al pastor " is just pork with red on it . The meat did not have a bad taste ,did not have an al pastor taste. My tortilla de maíz broke apart I ended up having to throw all the tortillas away and just eat the meat on its own.
