Great food always fresh, people are polite, fast service, and clean place to eat. One of my top taco places to eat in this part of town.

I LOVE Tacos Calafia! The best tacos hands down! This place is always steady or busy when we come in which is a good sign. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. Typically, I order carne asada tacos -- my picky daughter loves the food here too! They have a salsa bar with onions, cilantro, limes, different salsas, radishes, grilled onions and jalapeños. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The horchata here is also great treat to go with your tacos. Enjoy!

Fantastic Mexican joint. Excellent food and pricing. I stopped by for a early lunch to take a meeting, nice joint.

What a nice little taco place. I went here with a friend and when you walk in it instantly feels inviting. It was nice that there was quite a bit of space to spread out and you don't feel like you're sitting on top of anybody. We also loved that there was an open condiment bar that we were able to grab our onions, cilantro, limes, guacamole and salsas but we had to ask the kitchen for a plate to put all the goodies on. We both ordered three tacos, I got two carne asada and one al pastor. You get the choice of corn or flour tortillas and I chose flour. The tacos arrived fairly quickly and all of the meats were super fresh and delicious. The only call out I would say is they are very small for $2.86 each. Next time I would have gotten an additional taco as I was still hungry. Other than that, we we enjoyed our time here and appreciated that we were able to talk without feeling like we needed to give up our table. I'll definitely go back.

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and I'm never disappointed. Their food is so delicious! The restaurant is clean with a lot of sitting. Love seeing both flags hanging this last time I went in for lunch. This is my go to Mexican spot when I'm near Tolleson/Avondale. The service was fast and they always have condiments ready for you to help yourself with.

I stopped by Tacos Calafia, hoping for some delicious tacos. The interior is spacious, and they seem quite busy. They offer the usual grilled meats carne asada, al pastor, pollo , cabeza, and Nopales but very few ways to try those meats. I ordered a carne asada taco $2.99 and a Vampiro $4.72 with a small drink. I have to say I was really disappointed the taco and Vampiro were comically small they must use the smallest tortillas you can buy! The best part of the meal was a very good salsa bar with several salsas, guacamole, grilled onions, and peppers. I spent $11.00 and left hungry so much so I bought a burger on the way home! In my opinion, the food is not worth the prices that they charge for petite tacos and Vampiros.

On a road trip out of town we needed a little bit of food but just couldn't fathom hitting a fast food place. I looked this up on yelp and decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. It's very simple. A couple of meats, couple styles and an awesome salsa bar. One thing that was amazing was the Beans that you can add meat to. This is so delicious and reminds me of Home. Like a little mini bean soup with cheese and meat. The prices are really great here and it looks like they have amazing family deals.

One of my top go-to places when I am in the mood for tacos. One of the things that has always stood out to me was them having a nopal option. They also have a good michelada mix. The line moved pretty quickly for a weekend and there wasn't a lot of people so we were able to get a table right away. They have a great selection of sauces and other toppings. I appreciate them adding a space to grab grilled onions instead of having to ask every time!

This is a convenient and quick taco spot. I tried the carne asada, el pastor, and cabeza tacos. They are very small, I could have easily had about 4 or 5 since I was so hungry haha. We ordered chips and guac. Guac wasn't what we were expecting, it's the same you get at the salsa bar. They have a good salsa bar and the margaritas were surprisingly delicious. Service was quick and efficient! Definitely worth a try.

I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. I stepped up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady up front. After looking over the menu, I ordered two tacos de tripa and two tacos de suadero. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

I would say inside is similar to a Filiberto's, but I don't really care as long as the food is good. I'm a big taco fan and the tacos here are just ok. (Pastor way too salty, asada seemed blah, but suadero was good) I did make a lil drive to come out here but probably wouldn't do it again unless I'm just in the area. If o had to compare, I would say taco boys, ta carbon and tacos calafia are well above this spot. Good visit though and really just stopped to try.

Nobody, at least nobody alive, was on the premises, from my vantage point. Two buildings lay before me, both of which looked dark. Dusty railway cars on the track across the street. Is that where they would find my body, inside one of those, with the others? But, as I walked closer the scent of taco meat simmering, grilling and sizzling overtook my stupid fear. Tacos have never steered me wrong. Taco makers have always been some of my favorite people. Once that scent made me realize that I wasn't about to walk up on a crime scene and be the next victim, I happily opened the door. No customers but a young alive girl was behind the counter. Happy colors, neon, seriously the best salsa bar I have ever come across - they even had homemade, warm salsa macha on the side and everything else was cold and fresh because the condiments are covered in a literal steel trap to keep everything clean and sanitary. I had ordered my meal to go, and people started rolling up as I was leaving so I guess the party was about to start without me. Then I got my tacos home!! Exclamation point because they deserve it. I ordered two queso tacos that, of course, came with consumme. My eyes rolled back in my head when I took the first bite. The beef was juicy, flavorful, tender and the consumme complimented it beautifully. And when have ever been treated to so much cheese in a queso taco? Never. And the good, thick Mexican cheese, melted and abundant. Not some tasteless, cheap, inconsequential slop. My only regret? I live 10 miles away up a mountain and I couldn't run right back and order one more queso taco! I was literally starving for one more. So, I made some poverty nachos - cheap tortilla chips with cheddar melted on top in a microwave - and dipped them in the consumme. Well, actually I had another regret: I wasn't able to wash it all down with a Jamaica because they either ran out or didn't make it that today. I just know it would have been homemade and good.
