Best queso Birria tacos and consomé (soup kinda like au jus for tacos)! You can usually find one with good birria and so so consommé or vice versa, but not this place. The menu is well laid out and I decided on the quesataco plate and a horchata. My friend got the same plus a few other items to go. There's a bar with various salsas and side and we snacked on some cucumbers while we waited for our food. Though I did wish they had a side of chips available. The quesatacos were good, but they were made exponentially better by adding hot sauce so I'd say the meat could be spiced more heavily. I still had room so I got a chicken soft taco on corn tortilla and as a taco lover, I didn't love it. It didn't hit the classic street taco void I had and wouldn't order it again. I committed to trying the place since I had already driven 20+ minutes to get there. I ordered some birria de res and carne asada quesotacos along with some consomé birria de res con carne. While waiting for my to go order, I had a mango agua fresca which was delicious and refreshing. The carne asada tacos were very flavorful while the birria de res tacos were a bit bland and greasy. It was the first time I ever had consomé and it was quite flavorful and a good addition to the meal. Dipping the tacos into the consomé added some extra flavor to the tacos, although it did get a bit messy. Overall the food was good but I couldn't see what all the hype was about. She is beauty. She is grace. She is a really good taco. I asked what the most popular food is. They have some really pretty pictures of tacos, burros, vampiria, and birria ramen. I thought this birria had a lot of flavor, the consommae is so good you could eat it with a spoon or just drink it straight. Sometimes birria is too much cheese and not enough flavor. Unos fixed that. They have a good balance of beef, heat, cheese, and crunch. Also they give you a choice of guac or a nice chipotle salsa, radishes, cucumbers, onions, and grilled jalapenos. The jalapenos were also salted. It was a good flavor boost. Get here a little outside of lunch hours. There is a high school nearby and during the school year Unos gets overrun. The customer service was a hit or miss here just because the cashier was polite however after purchasing the combo, he didn't bother to ask if i wanted to buy a drink. Now as my first time... i got the assumption that the combo included the drink especially food costing $20 with out no drink. So i had to make a separate purchase for the drink that was $4 for a large 24oz. approximately. A little pricey for a fountain drink, but i guess it's the luxury of eating out. They have several different salsas to chose from, and aguas frescas.
