Unfortunately when I got into the sky club they have "severed their partnership" with the Asanda Spa in JFK terminal 4. I booked two "Complete Immersion" 45 minute massages online at the JFK Delta Lounge for 3:30 - simultaneously. Here's what the online booking looked like; note cancellation policy. Airport Services / Complete Immersion Massage | 45 minutes Han Zhang Asanda JFK Confirmed Reschedule Cancel General Terms and Conditions Cancellation Policy Be aware that there is a 24 hour policy for canceling / rescheduling your appointment. If you call to reschedule or cancel your service within 24 hours of the appointment time, there will be a charge. If you are paying for your service using a credit card, then you will be charged the full amount of the service if it is valued at less than $50. If your service cost is above $50, then you will be charged a flat $50 fee. If you are paying for your service using a voucher, then your voucher will be redeemed." No price was posted so I called the (212) number which was always busy. I left my name and phone number at the (844) number but never received a call back. No one ever answered that number either but at least it allowed for voice mail. My email and contact information were entered when I made the online booking. We paid $29 each for access to the Delta Sky Lounge at Terminal 4. Manager Steven Medina greeted us by advising us that our appointments were for 3PM. We said 3:30 and he said no, 3PM. We provided the screen shot of the appointments. Then he said well we only have one technician today so your appointments will have to be back to back. I said we will miss our flight if they are back to back which is why we didn't book them back to back. I noted I called to confirm and check the price and was never called back; I noted if I didn't show, the posted cancellation fee would apply. Steven said that didn't apply and they were working on the website to change that. I pointed out that didn't really help me as I wasn't canceling but being canceled upon, most unapologetically. With the utmost indifference, he said well we can only do one at 3:30. I said so I paid $29 Delta Sky Club entry for each of us to be here to get massages and only one of us can have one massage? That's not fair. I asked for the manager and Steven said I'm the manager. I requested that at the very least, the Immersion massage should be discounted by one of the $29 entry fees. He said ok and my daughter received a regular 45 minute "Signature" massage for which I was billed $70. He did offer me a guided meditation for free but I declined as what I wanted was a massage. I waited around for 45 minutes. My daughter said Han was very good but it was nothing special - just a chair massage: no guided meditation or hand massage as advertised for the "immersion" experience. The complete lack of any apology or apologetic words and the manager's marked indifference was startling. Telling us we were 30 minutes late when we were not was galling. Prices should be posted on the online booking site, reservations should be honored and calls returned. Customers should be contacted if services are going to be unavailable due to staff shortages. On the up side, my daughter said it was very quiet. She was the only occupant of a large room with a lot of massage chairs. read more

I didn't get to use any of the spa services other than the shower, but It was a damn good shower. You get a small private suite with a toilet, a nice walk in shower and a sink with outlets and a small seating area. There's great products to use and the front desk will give you a shaving and toothbrush kit if you want. I was just halfway through an 18 hour travel day with 2 connections and in Seattle for 3 hours. It was incredibly refreshing to be able to shower and feel human again. Next time I'm there, I'll be checking out their other services...and using that shower again! read more

While on a delay in the Delta Sky Lounge, I booked a 25 minute Dream Weaver experience. It was really relaxing on a stressful day, and the spa technician was lovely. The prices are really reasonable, especially for an in-the-airport experience. It's a great addition to the lounge. read more

This was an amazing experience!! The back room was like a whole different world from the hustle and bustle of the airport. I missed my flight twice and my third flight was delayed but this definitely made my day much better. The Asanda Spa Lounge is a great addition to the Delta SkyClub! The amazing, friendly, and very helpful Steven Medina greeted me at the front should me some products and asked me if I wanted to try a Dream Weaver Experience which was very cool, relaxing, and worth the price during my layover. I definitely recommend this Spa to anyone looking for a break during thier layover. They offer massages, facials, and other products. read more

I was pleasantly surprised how quiet and relaxing this spa was in the midst of a chaotic and over crowded airport lounge. I had a 25 min facial in an incredibly comfortable recliner. The staff was extremely nice and the aesthetician was very knowledgeable. Will definitely be back! read more

Great massage before a long flight. Even though it's in the Delta lounge, which can get quite crowded, it is very quiet. Massage therapist is great and the prices are comparable and even a little less than those at the Xpresspa just a little ways down the concourse. If you have some time before a flight and are in the T4 SkyClub, would definitely recommend stopping by and visiting the friendly staff at Asanda. read more
