THEY TELL ME TO JUST GET IN LINE, an hour after I first showed up. I don't if some genius had decided to get extensive service done here at twice the cost of a real mechanic or what, but 45 minutes later, I was literally no closer to getting this quick inspection on my car done, and I left. Definitely will not be going back. Being slow or having people get expensive things done in front of you is something that can't be helped and is just the downside of the the quick lube scene. Inaccuracy in what you're telling the customer or outright deception is very avoidable.

Luis notified us of a few other optional concerns on the van and when I asked how urgent the timeline is if we wanted to delay these repairs, I genuinely appreciated his honesty because he helped us assess that the break repair was more pressing than the shocks. Knowing the impact of delaying these repairs is helpful to prioritize as customers. In terms of their prices, they were competitive with others too. I recently took them a project car of mine, my beloved Honda S2000 who we thought was declared dead. Luis said they were willing to check her out and take on this challenge to revive her. I must say they were successful!! They informed me it was the fuel pump and fuel injectors that needed to be replaced. They searched far and wide to find the needed parts, even thought they were more than likely obsolete. I am so grateful to Luis and his team for bringing my car back to life. Since she needed to be smogged, Luis was kind enough to take her to the smog shop next door to have her tested. He called me with the great news that she had passed smog and was ready be picked up. I am so happy to finally be driving my S2K again.

My boyfriend took his car to this shop on August 5th because the timing belt had snapped and…read moredamaged parts of the engine. It took approximately a week for Luis to provide a diagnosis. Everything was covered under warranty, so the only expense that was supposed to be paid was the labor. Luis was supposed to provide an update on the car the following week (August 16th-22nd), but he never did. On top of that, the shop NEVER answered the phone whenever we tried to contact them. I went to the shop in person on September 1st to ask for an update. During that visit, Luis lied to my face about two things: He claimed that he had spoken with my boyfriend and his aunt the day before I showed up and had given them an update. This never happened. He told me that the mechanic who works on engines had "hurt his back" on the day he was supposed to work on the car. Despite these excuses, Luis assured me that the car would be ready that Friday or Tuesday because of the Labor Day weekend. That was not the case. Later that week, we received another update stating that the same mechanic who had supposedly "hurt his back" had now "hurt his leg." To make matters worse, we found out that this mechanic actually works at a completely different shop. None of the mechanics who actually work at Luis's shop apparently knew how to properly repair a 2004 Honda, which is absolutely unbelievable to me. My dad, who is a professional mechanic, eventually went to the shop in person to speak with Luis. Luis gave my dad the exact same excuses and lies that he had given us. However, my dad was able to get him to finally have the car completed and ready on September 11th. We also made it very clear to Luis that the labor should not be charged because of how long it took to get the car repaired and the repeated lack of communication and excuses. Overall, this shop was extremely unprofessional. The lack of communication, constant excuses, and misleading information made this entire experience incredibly frustrating. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase a business for updates or be given different stories just to find out what is happening with their vehicle.
