After losing the last bit of hope I had in Best buy geek squad I decided to venture out for another computer repair service company. I posted on facebook asking for referrals and 7 out of 8 of of my friends referred asap computers. I called and spoke to someone Thursday and explained my predicament and that I would be coming in around 5:30. I didn't know the traffic would be that bad in Holly springs that time of day (Stay at home mom problems) I called told them I was stuck in traffic and I would be there right at 6. I called back again at 6 and told them I was still stuck in traffic and I would just turn around and I would try it again tomorrow. Person I spoke with "the owner" told me he would wait. Already off to a good start!! Next day I received a call telling me I could pick up my laptop. I jumped in my car and sped over to beat that horrible evening traffic! Their store was really busy when I got there, people picking up computers etc. The technician went over the issues with me that I was having and how to avoid it happening again! Spent about 15-20 minutes answering questions that I had previous written down. Free 30 day warranty really won me over to! I've never taken the time out of my crazy days to leave a review on any business, good or bad but this time I had to take the time to do it. My wife had taken a couple of iPads and a Galaxy phone to ASAP and they replaced ports in all with great, fast results. She was very pleased. My wife's mother had a similar problem and ASAP and they quickly resolved her problems. I've had my MacBook Pro since 2010 and over the past year had gotten slow and nearly unresponsive. I figured it was time to bite the bullet and purchase a new one but I figured if anyone could resolve the computer problems at a reasonable price it would be ASAP. I called and the owner told me he would be happy to do what he could and I took it to ASAP straightaway. (all this during this pandemic) They had measures in place for their safety as well as patrons. They obviously worked diligently as a deadline was quickly closing in as 'Stay at home' was to occur and had my Mac back on track within a day and a half a more than reasonable fee. It was amazing to see just how much concern was apparent for their clients and I for one am grateful to meet professionals, courteous folks who to help when help is needed so quickly. After an unfortunate work-related selfie stick tragedy left me with a shattered screen on my company-issued iPhone, I turned to the collective wisdom of the internet for local recommendations. Another review website (Google Reviews) came back with more than 400 five-star ratings for ASAP Computer Store, which is conveniently located between my office and my home. I headed over there on my lunch break, assuming I'd drop off the phone, pay some exorbitant price for a new screen + service charges, and pick up my phone a few days later. I couldn't have been more wrong. Douglas walked me through the repair process, the pros and cons of a certified Apple replacement vs an aftermarket brand, some options for protective cases to avoid a similar incident and showed me the costs - line item by line item. Work was completed quickly, meticulously (he must have used a laser guide to apply the screen protector) and at the cost quoted. If I have to list one complaint, it's that the work was completed *too* quickly. When I told Douglas how nice it would be not to have a work phone for a few days, he replied "Sorry, man. I recently took my computer to ASAP Computer after it started running really slow. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I wasn't sure what was wrong. They were super friendly and helpful from the start, and they explained everything in a way I could understand. Turns out my computer had 5 years' worth of dust and cat hair built up inside (oops!), and they did a fantastic job cleaning it out. They not only fixed the performance issues, but they also gave it a deep clean -- it literally looks and sounds like new again! The service was fast, affordable, and very professional. Then, this week I brought in my phone, which got wet at the pool over Memorial Weekend and wouldn't turn on. I thought it was a lost cause, but they replaced the screen and got it working again. Honestly, it's better than new now -- it's fast, the screen looks perfect, and it's working like it's fresh out of the box. You will not regret taking your computer to ASAP! I came in with my MacBook Air completely DEAD...like it would not turn on. It worked fine the night before and then the next morning it would not turn on. I was more worried about my files and pictures than the computer itself. I did not back up my files and seriously learned a hard lesson about external hard drives. The best news was the fact that they were able to get all of my precious pictures and files off my laptop onto an external hard drive that they recommended. They also did a time machine backup so I could pick up where I left off no matter what. They took care and time to picture out why my computer stopped working. Unfortunately my laptop was beyond repair. They did take out my mother board for me so we can keep it and sell the laptop off for parts. While I am sad my laptop is dead, I am SO pleased that they did everything possible to fix it, educate me, and most importantly pulled my most important files and pictures off my laptop. ASAP Computer Store has over 400 awesome reviews on Google! Not sure why there aren't more on here but here's mine: I highly recommend this computer repair shop. I brought two items in, my cracked iPhone screen which was repaired within an hour and was a reasonably priced repair. Also a MacBook Pro that had been giving me issues for almost a year. A week later I have the laptop back and it is like a brand new computer again. They replaced the ram, failing hard drive and broken WiFi card, also cleaned the computer inside and out, literally looks brand new. The previous owner had dented the bottom really bad and they even removed the dents without me asking. A new bottom cover is $160 bucks and they saved me on that. I'd requested approval before spending a certain amount on the repairs and instead they kept it at that amount and ate the cost of the WiFi card. Exceptional customer service here, constant communication/updates on the repair(s) and just super knowledgeable and wonderful people. Thanks for everything ASAP Computers! read more

I had a couple situations where I needed computer help in a short period of time. I went in on a Saturday and the store was very busy but Ben acknowledged every customer as they came in the store and prioritized what could be done quickly so that things moved quickly. I was really impressed by his knowledge, expertise and customer service. The actual work was done quickly, professionally and at an extremely reasonable cost. I bought a new laptop to replace mine that had fried and all the information was transferred to the new computer. I've gone back for other service since and have been just as pleased. Oh while I was there a couple computers that had been worked on by a big box competitor came in and ASAP had to fix what that squad had done. Asap saved the day!!! In the process of moving I dropped my laptop, damaged the screen and hard drive. I first took it to a big box store known for selling and repairing computers. They told me the laptop would have to be sent off because they didn't repair screens in store. So I asked them if they could just get my pictures off my hard drive. They kept it over night and called me the next day and told me my hard drive was bad and the data was lost. I can't explain how I felt that I had just lost all of my pictures. Yes I know I should have had them back up. A week later a friend referred me to asap computer. They not only replaced my screen but was able to save all my pictures that I thought were lost! I'm normally "pretty good" with computers, but when I recently managed to screw something up so badly that I couldn't fix it, I took it to ASAP on a Saturday morning. Ben worked with me troubleshooting potential issues: we thought we'd solved things until a new problem arose! I left it with him, thinking it would be a long while before I heard from him. In a couple days, Ben called to let me know that my machine was ready! When I showed up at his shop, he explained what had been the real culprit, gave me an opportunity to play around with things and make sure everything was working (it was!). Seriously love this place. It's a bit of a hike from my house, but it's every bit worth the drive for the nice folks who work here and their awesome service. Every time I've come in with a problem, they've been friendly, super helpful and knowledgeable, and they often go above and beyond -- recently I needed a battery replaced, and while they were at it they did a clean-up and checked my hard drive to speed up the computer, but what's lovely is that they didn't charge me for anything but the service I'd actually asked for. They remember their customers' names and overall seem like great folks doing a great job, enough to make me make a Yelp account just to say thanks! The name of the business says it all! Not only are they fast but they really go out of their way to make sure you understand the issues you may be having. I know how to turn my laptop on and browse the net and that's about it. When I start getting blue screens and crazy error messages I'm lost! Thank god for these guys. I had a huge project I had been working on and boom out of no where I get a blue screen and says its dumping files! I just knew I lost everything that I saved for my project. I jumped in the car with tears in my eyes and made the 5 minute drive to asap! I'm sure the tech at the counter thought I was crazy as I was so frantic. Visiting our daughter and three kids and it seemed like everyone had computer or cellphone problems. Couldn't find anyone who could handle all the issues and any kinds of timely fashion. Enter Asap. We had three Macs who all had issues... software, hardware, power supplies etc. Ben invited us in to discuss the issues (and he really listened btw).. Today we dropped by asap computer after hearing how good they are with repairing computers. My two year old laptop has been getting slower over the last 6 months to the point I can't get any work done. The technician said that there most likely was some viruses causing it to operate slower. I left it with them around 10am and I got a call around 3pm telling me it was all ready. Once I got it home I turned it on to do some work and I noticed it started up much faster, before it would take forever to turn on. Im very happy with how quick it was for them to get it back to me. If you go in for a virus removal ask them to install some anti virus ware for you. They gave me a free one and showed me how to use it. read more

My Daughter broke the screen on a 3 month old laptop and she was so upset that she would fall behind on her schoolwork. I called a few places first and I was told that I would be cheaper to buy a new one or that it would take 3 weeks to fix. I drove past this store so many times but I forgot about them until one of my coworkers was talking about how good of a job they did on her desktop. I dropped in on my lunch break and spoke to the guy behind the counter. I got a price that well well below what I thought I would have to spend to get it fixed. I walked in last minute on a Thurs afternoon and the owner, Ben, sat down with me and explained what was potentially wrong with my laptop and what they can do to save me money when fixing it. I highly recommend this place! No more fighting mall traffic to go to the Apple store for me. When my daughter's laptop computer shorted out from using a compromised jump drive/memory stick, Douglas was so helpful on the phone. When I got to the store, Ben did an amazing job of switching out some parts that needed replacing and no new logic board was needed. So thankful for a technician that didn't try to over charge us for unnecessary parts, but fixed her MacBook Pro that we thought was fried! Friendly, attentive and timely service! Got a wicked virus on my laptop last week. I like to use local businesses and was SO impressed with ASAP Computers in downtown Holly Springs! I took it in on a Friday and they said it would be ready on Monday - WOW! And, it was ready and both gentlemen who helped me were great (especially the one with lighter colored hair). He was SO efficient in helping 3 folks at one time and kept us all happy and explained a few tech things to all of us at once. I think he said they give classes so I will definitely take one. Cost was $125 which didn't seem too bad considering how quick they were and that included a virus protection for a year! read more

My laptop I call ol faithful "because its 7 years old and I'm to cheap to buy a new one" caught a virus. I download all kinds of anti virus ware to remove it! With no luck I gave in and stared looking for computer repair store's. During the search i found asap computer in holly springs. Needless to say they solved the problem and at a competitive price. 30-40 dollar's cheaper than their competitors and I was given a 30 day warranty! Score!!! I took a computer the ASAP that would not turn on. Ben got it fired up and said to take it back to see if it would work when I got home. It did not turn on when I got home- they then said a board may need to be replaced and gave me a rough price. I took it back and before just replacing the board they (Douglas) looked into see if there was any other solutions. He did some updates and other magical things and its now working just fine-for now. The point is, they could have just did the most expensive thing and charged more $. I appreciate the fact that they took the time to see if there was another solution. read more
