We needed the inside of our house painted and had been hesitant about taking on with a large project. Trae came to do the walkthrough and was awesome about the whole process. Answered all our questions and was awesome about the whole thing. Day of project Ricardo, Victor and their crew were amazing. They worked hard and were detail oriented. They each ensured that I was happy every step of the process and happily accepted my notes/adjustments. When they departed they ensured the house was clean and every detail addressed. They stayed behind with me to walk through as well. I immediately heard from Ricardo to ensure my satisfaction. I cannot say enough nice things about Atlanta Painting Company and their team. I trusted a neighbors recommendation instead of going through my own due diligence. What I have learned is that these large paint companies don't care about quality, they are about quantity. I had to hold up payment for them to "finish" the job. The crew they sent to my house had one painter and 2 or 3 laborers, who did painting work, but had no idea what they were doing. In fact almost every day they had different laborers. All they did was made a mess. When the "Forman"came out after me complaining, they told me the job met " industry standards ", whatever that meant. What it meant to them was more than the customers, me, standard or expectations. What have I learned? Stay away from the large paint companies and hire a guy, that cares about what he does, because the quality of his work means more than the quantity of his work! read more

We hired Atlanta Painting Company to paint our TV room and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Our biggest issue was with paint selection and communication. During our initial consultation, I specifically requested a Benjamin Moore color. I also texted the salesperson the exact color after signing the contract and completed the company's pre-project survey, where I again specified the Benjamin Moore color. At no point during the sales process or project preparation did anyone explain that Atlanta Painting Company's standard process is to use Sherwin-Williams paint with a color match instead of the actual Benjamin Moore paint. The day before the project began, I received an email referencing Sherwin-Williams products. I immediately reached out to the individual who introduced himself as the project manager to confirm that the painters would be using the actual Benjamin Moore paint--not a color match. I received no response. On the first day of the project, I asked the painting crew what paint they were using. The paperwork they showed me indicated it was a Benjamin Moore paint, so I allowed them to proceed. After they left for the day, however, I noticed the paint cans clearly stated "color match," confirming they had used Sherwin-Williams instead of the actual Benjamin Moore paint I had specifically requested. The next morning, before work resumed, I spent hours trying to reach the project manager by phone, text, and email. He never responded. The painting crew was left waiting while we tried to get answers. We eventually had to work through multiple people before speaking with someone who explained that using Sherwin-Williams paint with a color match was simply their standard process and gave a lengthy explanation as to why they use Sherwin-Williams instead of Benjamin Moore. The problem is that none of this was ever explained during the initial consultation, when we were discussing paint colors and selecting products. There was never any mention that Sherwin-Williams paint would be used or that my Benjamin Moore color would be color matched. Had that conversation taken place before we signed the contract, we could have made an informed decision. Instead of acknowledging this lack of transparency, the conversation shifted to why Sherwin-Williams paint is just as good. That completely missed the point. This was never about paint quality--it was about using the product we specifically requested and communicating their process upfront. At no point did anyone proactively offer to make the situation right. We ultimately had to ask for a 10% discount on the remaining balance ourselves. When we requested it, the representative told us they could approve that amount without even involving the CEO, implying there was room to offer additional compensation but no willingness to do so unless we specifically asked. Given the amount of time we spent trying to resolve an issue that could have been avoided with clear communication, this response was disappointing. To make matters worse, after the project was completed, we discovered that our window blinds had been reinstalled incorrectly. They subsequently fell off the wall and damaged the freshly painted surface, creating yet another issue immediately after the job was finished. We chose Atlanta Painting Company because of its positive reviews and genuinely hoped we would have the same experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We will never use this company again, and based on our experience and we will not be recommending them to anyone in our network. read more

In October 2023, I hired the Atlanta Painting Company for a large exterior painting project on my home after receiving a very strong personal recommendation from my aunt and uncle. I trusted this company with my home and invested thousands of dollars expecting professional, high-quality, long-lasting work. Instead, this experience has turned into a long, exhausting, and deeply frustrating ordeal. Not long after the job was completed, paint bubbles began appearing in multiple areas. It was immediately obvious that parts of the home had not been properly caulked, sealed, or closed. For a project of this size and cost, seeing these issues was shocking and extremely disappointing. Since then, I have contacted Atlanta Painting Company several times asking for help and accountability. In 2024, they came out three different times, including once with a Sherwin-Williams specialist, to assess the problem and determine a solution. It resulted in the repaint of the bubbling areas and caulking and sealing the columns. In 2025, the paint bubbles appeared again. I reached out once more and was told someone would follow up, which they did not. After contacting them again, a representative said they could come out. I immediately responded, rearranging my schedule and making myself available. Then--nothing. No follow-up. No response. No accountability. Since that last attempt to get help, the condition of my home has continued to deteriorate. More bubbles have appeared, and in areas on the front of the house, the paint is now so thin that you can actually see through it--almost like looking at someone's ribcage beneath skin. It is embarrassing, upsetting, and painful to see my home in this condition after paying so much money for professional work. What makes this even worse is the emotional toll of repeatedly asking for help and being ignored. I expected care, follow-through, and pride in workmanship from the Atlanta Paint Company. Instead, I am left feeling dismissed, frustrated, and completely unsatisfied. I paid thousands of dollars for this project and trusted Atlanta Painting Company to stand behind their work. I contracted APC two weeks ago for a fascia and wood trim repair job on our home after they matched a competitor's lower price. APC's communication, initially, was good regarding what I could expect about their work and their scheduling. (Perhaps it must have been the fact that they didn't have all of my money, yet.) However, when they failed to clean up sufficiently after the job was done, I began to suspect something else was amiss. By that time, though, they had all of the money. That's not the worst part, either. Upon finally doing my walkthrough three days after the APC crew finished the job, I had another vendor (pest control) stop by and notice two very apparent defects in the work only because he was at our home to debug a possible roof pest issue. The fascia work was incomplete and wood at the top portion of the house looked to be painted over and not actually repaired. He reported those defects to me while the Project Manager was at the house alongside him. God was watching that day, because I don't know anything about trim and fascia. I brought it to the PM's attention and he immediately noticed what was wrong. This was after two other sets of APC eyes had been on the job (pre and during). That's three APC employees that should have noted the problem and two of them were tasked with fixing it. It took a non-painter to begin setting things right on this job. Top this off with the fact that the crew returned to complete the fascia work on the two areas the pest control guy identified, but they did it in a sub-standard way. This forced me to call the PM's boss and have him get involved in my work order. Ultimately, another APC crewman (just one guy showed up) came by the house and corrected the shotty work from the redo. That's two redo's to finish the job. (An aside, the second area I mentioned to APC about being redone or corrected has yet to be addressed as of 9/8/25. I've sent them a message about it, but I've already mentioned that they have all of the money.) Thankfully, I didn't have to pay anything extra for the redo's, but getting this HOA-inspired trim job done was more of a hassle than it should have been and I would not rehire this company nor recommend it to anyone for future work. This is mainly due to my lack of faith in the work that looks good now - but may blister and peel before its time - and the fact that I had to rely on a non-paint vendor to check this company's work thanks to divine Providence. I'm actually going to recommend the company that was going to do the job for the same price and only missed my business by three inches - coincidentally the same gap that the APC crew left in my fascia before they got caught by Cook's Pest Control's on-call weekend service. Save your money and the grief, go with Dixon Painting for the fascia and ask for David from Cook's Pest Control if you choose not to heed this review about APC. read more

I'll give Atlanta Painting Company a solid 4. The quality of the first painting of the deck was very lacking. After going up there and viewing it and reaching out to the project manager of our dissatisfaction, they were quite great at scheduling time to come back and revisit the work. The price was good comparable to some of the cabin painting places around the Ellijay area. After the second visit though I heard nothing back from the project manager. It wasnt a perfect but miles ahead of the first time. So feel I got a good deal and decent work. In the future for the company I would recommend more oversight of the jobs done because sending someone back out is clearly more expensive for them them then getting it right the first time. They admitted to putting house hold caulk on the exterior of the house last spring and you should see the hole were the caulk has failed as I explain to them it would during winter and summer . I was sent a letter by Paul with a lien on the house if I did not pay . We decided to pay after they had to replace the stairs which is unfinished as well . I hired Atlanta Painting Company in July to do the exterior of my house. The company advertises a dedicated project manager who provides daily communication on projects. I got one email from the project manager, and he never came to the site. A few weeks later, I found out he was on vacation during my project. The work itself was really poorly done. Paint was slopped on and smeared around. I had to walk the property and point out mistakes with the crew for 3 hours on the final day, and I still had tons of mistakes when they left. All of the communication between various people (Genna, Caroline, a few others that I can't recall) was fine....until I had concerns over the quality of the work. I didn't get a response regarding the paint that the workers tracked on to my hardwood floors, as well as a few other things. They did send the same crew back out a couple of weeks later to fix all of the mistakes again. Sigh. It looks better, but I'm really just glad to be done with Atlanta Painting Company. TLDR: I have interior projects to contract, and I will be finding someone else. I found Atlanta Painting Company to be unprofessional, and to not know how to paint. We wanted to get a few bedrooms and dining room painted in the house we just purchased. We bidded about 7 companies and not only did this company impress us with their professionalism and credentials, they were also the lowest bid. The sales guys that showed up for the estimate explained everything clearly and made us feel comfortable with the process. Scheduling was a breeze and they were able to work with our schedule. The project was originally quoted at 2-3 days, but ended up only taking 1. The crew was nice and there was check-ins and follow ups each step of the way. Mediocre at best. We hired Atlanta Painting Company to paint our newly purchased 4 year old home while it was empty using the existing colors. It cost us $8300 which is reasonable for a 4400 square foot house if the job was done well. However... they were extremely lazy. They did not use tape so virtually all the seams and moulding lines are not straight. There are drip marks throughout. They did not repair/patch many defects in the walls. Paint bled to the wood floors as they didn't tape the bottoms. I'd say, all in all, 2 1/2 stars. read more

So I was not surprised to discover that Atlanta Painting was everything I expected. I rated Atlanta Painting 4 stars because I have yet to use their services. If you are prepared to act as full time manager and foreman for the crew and train crew members on prepping surfaces, carpentry, and painting technique, then you may want to go with APC. This was the sloppiest paint job I've ever seen, sadly. On my project the crew did not sand surfaces before painting, tried to attach a new partial 2x4 crookedly to a rotted piece of wood rather than replace the entire support and cover it up before I could see it, attached raw unprimed wood to the house in areas that needed to be repaired due to water issues, did not clean off surfaces before painting (they painted over dirt and cobwebs), did not cover plants and was a bit rough when dealing with windows - several window balance kits were broken on my house although they have said they will replace at least one balance kit thankfully. A large custom made wooden shutter was also damaged but what is probably most bothersome about that is that they did not inform me. Most of the crew members did not know how to use the sprayer or the paint brush -- leaving streaks all over large sections of the siding and areas of trim outside were left with gobs of excess paint running down the corners, some spots had deep finger prints in them, while other areas were painted so thin that streaks of the old paint color showed through. The agreements made with the salesperson also did not come to fruition. For example, it was agreed to use Hardie product for repairs rather than regular wood and the salesperson said they could pressure wash the outside patio areas included in the quote. Instead, in many places regular wood was used that was not primed on all surfaces and no Hardie product was used anywhere; no one informed me of the switch before the repairs were made. Further, the project manager said they didn't know about the agreement to pressure wash the patios. Finally, the painting crew also placed very wet just painted shutters against the house and behind very wet just painted metal shutter holders, resulting in the shutters and holders getting stuck together and causing chipped paint. I was able to step in and get some things corrected, but it took lots of time and caused added stress, still waiting on some things to be addressed. The crew also left overpaint on widow glass panes which I had to request for them to clean off and remove several times, hopefully that will be done soon. They also offer color consultant services and one of the consultants is pretty good but you only get a rushed 45 minute consult included in your quote, even for complex exterior jobs that cost over $11,000 and require lots of coordination around architectural details, like stone, and decisions on colors for doors, shutters, trim and siding. Any additional color consulting is billed at around $150 per hour. The salesperson's mailbox is nearly always full as well and no one answers the office phone number. I am hopeful APC will make most things right before the job is done but I would like compensation for the many hours I spent researching and finding the products they said they could use on the house and the lost time I spent instructing the crew on prepping surfaces and painting technique every day of the project. I called the project manager and asked why I had to instruct and manage the crew on painting prep and technique and he said he didn't have an answer. On a positive note, the crew was pleasant, they just need much training aka Painting 101 and an actual manager who is not the homeowner. read more

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Not an easy thing to do since they didn't seem to want to come to my house in the late afternoon (around 4). I guess I could have taken a half day off work to accommodate them, but if a business is trying to earn my money, I expect them to work with my schedule. After several phone calls, they finally "managed to find someone willing to come by" at that time. Lucky me. I spent nearly an hour with the estimator, going over the job and what I needed done. Do yourself a favor and find another company to do your work. We were quoted $1k to paint our bedroom ceilings, stairwell and upstairs bedroom. There was alot of taping and holes to patch, etc. That was included in our quote. They day arrives and ONE guy shows up. ONE. We ask him if its just him and he confirms yes. Considering the amount of work needed, that was ridiculous and we knew at that point, we were not going to be able to leave our house all day. So right off the bat, not cool and not happy. An hour or 2 later the "project supervisor" shows up. He's a nice guy, but literally only asked the painter if he needed anything. Never checked the work or anything. He leaves and I go to look at the progress so far. There is paint dripping down the walls, spray all over our blinds, carpet, windows, etc. None of the holes had been patched, walls weren't wiped down, it goes on and on. We tell him its unacceptable and he tried his best to correct what he could. Now, he definitely made a mess, but it is impossible for ONE person to do the job especially in 1 day. So this falls 100% on Atlanta Painting Company. It turns out he is an independent contractor and is using his own equipment and supplies. So he isn't even an employee of the company. Basically they hired and independent guy, make him use his own stuff and pay him barely anything, so he HAS to finish in one day to feed his family. They way they operate is a joke and their morals are seriously in question. Due to their incompetence and greed, we ended up having to spend hours upon hours fixing the work that had been done in addition to buying additional paint. read more

I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I RECEIVED LITTLE MORE THAN A RENTAL-HOME-TURNOVER TYPE PAINT JOB. And I've owned rental properties, so I would know. This paint job was for my residence. They should call themselves 'The Marketing Company' rather than The Painting Company. I hired them for an interior paint job in November or 2020. They had fancy brochures, levels of management involved -(that should have been my first warning sign). I signed with them after receiving several quotes because they represented that they would do a good job. The price for their services were $1500+ over 3 other average offers, but I justified the price to myself because they talked a lot about how they did superior prep work, and I had one wall along my back stairs that needed special attention due to furniture bumps, etc. These were NOT large defect/issues, but they only minimally addressed them. I even wrote up a document to point them towards places that I felt needed special attention. The paint job overall was average at best. Specifically: -They did not raise the sash on many windows before painting them. I had to find this myself. Then, they did not have any tools to help open the window. I'm 62 y.o. and disabled, but I had to open the windows for them. The bottoms of the sashes were left unpainted until I pointed this out to them. -They did not cut in the crown molding. They painted the bottom of the crown molding the same color as the walls and asked for extra money to correct it. Walls are to be painted the color of the wall, and moulding is to be painted the color of the moulding. It is that simple but they do not follow that rule. -Many imperfections on the wall paint job. I know they have a guarantee but I do not want them back in my home. -If you call them up you will get a quote from their salesperson. Then they assigned a 'project manager' to the job. I asked to speak to the project manager well prior to the start date but he did not contact me until a few days before the team arrived on site. During what turned out to be a 6 day job he popped in probably 4 or 5 times. He was good and knowledgeable, but he just wasn't around enough. And he seemed more interested in finding reasons to overlook the lack of quality work of the team. -The team arrived promptly, set up each day and did a reasonable clean-up each day. They cut corners and I later found out that they were allotted only 4 days for the job and were likely trying to hold the schedule even though the team was down by 1 person (of a 4 person crew) for 3 days. -I have so much more to say, but I think you should get the picture. I would recommend being able to talk things through with the person who will actually paint your home - using a local painter - rather than going through a salesperson - project manager - crew leader. -Scheduling was a problem. I was trying to get the job done before Thanksgiving and contracted the job in early November. Knowing that I was considering using them, they calledme (on a Thursday or Friday, I think) and said some slots had opened up and 'if I signed up they could get me started the next week. A little while later I called back and put down the ~$1500 deposit. Then, after a few days they called me back and said my job could not be scheduled for another 2+ weeks. I will take a big part of the responsibility for hiring this company,. I promptly paid them in full despite their lousy job. We scheduled to have out downstairs living room, stairwell and upstairs loft painted a light gray. Since the stairwell was two stories high we decided to have it hired out. The quote process was great as was the scheduling process. The quality of painting was not so great. It was quite obvious that the painter was in a rush and overlooked trimming. We ended up with paint on lighting fixtures, splotchy trim on the baseboards and significant bleed over onto the ceiling from the wall. When I called to explain the issues, a painter was scheduled to return the following week. We received a confirmation email but the painter was a no show that morning. Unfortunately, the balance was paid in full and my case serves as an example of "take the money and run". I would recommend using another painter or clear a weekend, rent a ladder and do it yourself. Two stars for the quote and scheduling process. Less for the actual painting. I've used the Painting Company twice now, working with Paul Caris on both occasions. Our first project was just wood and stucco repairs (yah, stucco). They did a great job for what I thought was a very fair price (better than first quote from another). That was 1.5 years ago shortly after buying the house. This time around we wanted update the look of the house (again, it's stucco so what can you do) so we decided to go with more of a bold and modern paint scheme. We went darker on the house, a slightly darker shade on the stucco trim, and very dark on the window trim. We have a pretty big house and the crew was able to power wash, paint it, and stain our new deck in only five days. I am extremely detail oriented and nitpicky when it comes to physical projects. Frankly, I am not an easy client to please and I notice every imperfection. There really weren't many things for the crew to address for touch ups, and they were understanding and gladly took care of everything in a few hours. Honestly, I don't really bother with paint quotes anymore because I know these guys are going to do a great job that it's either not worth my time to investigate other options or not worth risking the quality just to save a few bucks. BTW they use Sherwin-Williams paints and can make a color consultant available to you (free) if you have a fairly large project. They contract out all of their work. So you might get a good painter and may get a horrible painter. However they get your charge card information and charge you for the job before you sign off. If you look at reviews some of their painters leave your walls dripping with paint and do not cover your floors or furniture. Please beware of this company. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I would never recommend this company for the following reasons. We paid to have the interior painted (walls, ceiling, and trim) and were guaranteed the job would be completed in 5 days. From day one the problems and delays began, I will not list every single setback as there are just too many. On the first day of work I checked in on the progress and noticed NONE of our furniture or floors had been covered and they were sanding the ceilings. The dust on everything was a nightmare to clean, and will never fully be removed from the carpeting. We had copious amounts of paint on a ceiling fan, rug and step stool (that was taken and used from out cleaning closet without asking). The company did deduct the cost of everything that was damaged from our final bill. Most importantly was the poor quality of work. My husband and I had to go through the house every night with blue tape marking the numerous locations that were missed entirely, or done so poorly that it needed to be redone. The lines from the wall to the ceiling on over 50% of the house were not clean, the wall color is a wavy line and not sharp as crisp as we expected by professionals. On day 5 this job was no where near complete and took an additional 2 days to finish. We received a call from Kevin the project manager a few days after the job was "finished". He asked when would be a good time for the guys to come back and touch up all the areas of concern, I texted him back with days and times, that was a week ago and he never responded. read more

The work appears to be good. I started this review 1 year and half ago and I'm finishing it up after I made a warranty claim. When I talk to the company on the phone, I was pretty sure they told me that their painters were employees only; however, when the painters showed up, they were actually contractors (supposedly a lot of jobs are subcontracted out in this industry). These contractors spray painted. I would have preferred hand rolled. Does it make a difference? Maybe. Do you research but here's a youtube video to get you started. https://youtu.be/4yHiOHlbPcA . So a spray paint will typically not last as long as hand roll. Additionally, this work was done by a subcontractor that just wants to get paid for work. The paint job looks good, but will it last? So let's talk about those contractors. Like I said, a contractor just wants to get paid. They're not as vested in quality of the work as the company is. Example 1: the contractors painted the front side of my shutters. I asked the supervisor and the contractors - "aren't you supposed to paint the front AND back of the shutters?" The supervisor said to the contractors, "Yes, we should be painting both sides." I saw that the contractors were reluctant and they told the supervisor that's not what they agreed to. The supervisor then said, "We can talk about it later, but paint both side of the shutters." Example 2: They're not supposed to paint in the rain. When it started raining, the contractors showed up to paint. They want to finish the job quickly so they can move on to the next job. I had to call the supervisor and tell them that the contractors were painting when it was raining. The supervisor had to call the contractors and tell them to stop. I got quote for both exterior and interior paint job. However, I only went with the exterior paint job. These contractors must've known b/c the company has to get a quote from the contractors + add their mark up before sending me the quote. At the end of the job, the contractors told me that they can also do the interior paint job and quoted me a lower price than the Painting Company. However, I observed the tug of war between the contractor and the supervisor and didn't trust them to do a good job. At some point I had written an email to the sales guy (not the supervisor) to complain about my experience. He never responded or acknowledged my email. 1.5 yr after the initial paint job, I called the Painting Company about a peel in the paint. They honored the warranty and sent a guy out to fix the issue. This guy was wearing the company tshirt and driving company vehicle; therefore, i believe this was an employee and not a contractor. This guy was easy to work with and he did a good job. However, it took about 3 weeks from when I placed my call requesting warranty fix until they guy actually showed up. Would I use them again and what would I have done differently? Any tips? I would check to see if they use contractors. If they claimed they didn't, then make sure that's the case. If I could have done this differently, I would have turn the contractors away when the showed up at my house. I am happy that they honor the paint warranty without a fuss. read more

Scheduling and invoice payment was very convenient. The sales person, Mike, who provided the estimate was very responsive & reputable. Mike stood by his word even when the work we had agreed upon verbally was not fully explained on the work estimate and was subsequently questioned by the project manager, Stephen. The Painting crew, led by Raul, did an excellent job and was very thorough and careful with prepping, painting, and clean up. They were also very fast! They finished painting all the interior walls (including closets and garage) for a 3,000 sq ft., 3 story, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom townhouse in 2.5 days. And they STARTED the work within one week of providing the cost estimate. So even though they are about 20% more expensive than their competitors with excellent reviews on Yelp, they are more readily available than the other companies which typically have a 3-4 week backlog. TIP: Be sure to verify that the different work areas (wall, ceiling, and trim work) are explicitly written on the work estimate and be sure to specifically mention which CLOSETS will be painted in the work estimate to eliminate any potential issues between the sales side and the project manager and/or crew chief. read more

While the actual painters did a good job, I have a huge issue with the salesperson and their decorator. I was very clear that I wanted STARK WHITE paint, with zero undertones, like my baseboards. They pointed me to "SW Extra White" and both assured me that it would meet my expectations. As I wanted the walls to match my existing baseboard paint which is SW EXTRA WHITE, I trusted them. However, it is far from stark white, it is significanlty "off white". and very different from my baseboards which ARE white. The difference is very apparant and confirmed by everyone who has seen it. I am so disappointed. I wasted a lot of money. read more

Went in for a consultation and were told we needed two layers of paint. Two people can in for a three story job and painted half the first floor and told us we needed more coats which would cost us much more than quoted. Team was defensive about touch ups, painted the basement the wrong color (which was resolved - ish; back up painters came the following day and said there would be no follow up. Basement still has streaks). They painted over farm doors in basement and offered a $30 discount ( much less than doors were worth and a fraction of what we paid. FIND BETTER! read more

We hired the painting company to paint our kitchen cabinets in a condo we had just purchased. The painting company did an AMAZING job. Not only do the cabinets look fantastic but they were by far the cleanest contractors we have seen. They made sure it was done right all the way through and left absolutely no mess. Leah was our first contact with APC. She is very knowledgeable and helpful during the process of getting an estimate. She responded quickly whenever we needed her help. Our paint already looks 2 years old but only 7 months. They contracted our job out to a husband/wife, it took a week and they had to come back to repaint areas missed/1coat. PM never came to see the work until we called the office to complain. Walls chipping, area which was to be fixed, already cracking. We had windows cleaned and tinted recently and told window sills/trim were never painted in entry/living room. The Painting Company was called because I had an insurance claim due to a fire. Their sales rep came out and did a great job of assessing what I need to have done and quoting their work. That was the easy part. It would have been a near 5 star experience. However, TPC has horrendous internal communication. One person does not know what the other person is doing. I was close to postponing the project due to not having a signed contract the night before the work was to start. I was supposed to hear from the project manager (I never did), the painters didn't have my paint colors (I turned them in several weeks prior to the job date) and I received a finalized contract to sign 5PM the day before the job was to start. I was satisfied with the job but again, their internal communication as well as how that effects their communication with the customer is poor. A near 5-star job gets a 3 because communication is a huge part of the experience no matter how well you do the job and they just failed to deliver solid communication. read more

I received three different quotes to paint the exterior of my home last year. The Painting Company gave me the most reasonable quote, showed up as promised and did the work without any issues what so ever. They were the nicest and most respectful work crew ever. This year I needed some interior work done so I reached out to them again. Once again, they had the best price and, once again, showed up on time (which is a huge deal with any contractor) and did a very professional and stellar job. Contractors are easy to find in metro Atlanta, "great" contractors, are a different story. I would highly recommend these guys and will use them again and again! read more

I really wanted to like The Painting Company and originally had high hopes but unfortunately they left me disappointed. I had a consultant come out for an estimate for a handful of interior and exterior painting. Everything was ok at that point and he was intelligent and provided answers to any questions. All was well. However, a week after the quote was expected to arrive, I still had heard nothing. I began calling every few days to check on it and never made any progress. The receptionist takes a note and says she will let the sales consultant know, and then I never hear back. Emails are equally unsuccessful. In the end, I tried for several weeks to receive a quote because I liked the consultant at first and it sounded like they would be able to deliver high quality work, but this company fails terribly at communication. Even if I had received the quote eventually, I'd still be hesitant to hire due to poor communication which would likely be frustrating until job completion. As I am leaving my place of employment I find my car covered in plastic and tape along with other employees cars covered. Then I see two of the painter's sitting on the ground laughing and speaking some other language and one comes over and starts ripping it off my car. I don't appreciate anyone touching my car and they did not have permission. They have hit my office window, exterior walls. This is unacceptable! read more
