The 100 year snow storm(s) hit Howell Mountain and our little village of Angwin. The winds, the rain, and the snow (over 8") came down on us. A large oak tree across the road was pushed over by the crazy winds and fell on top of our home at around 2 am, in the morning. Daylight revealed more damage with snow everywhere. I found online the first 5 starred Yelp listing for tree removal service. It was ASAP Tree Removal. It was the best call I could make. Hamilton answered right away! He was just leaving Angwin when I called but said he would turn around and help! It was such a relief to find him and that he could help. I knew that there probably is a lot of downed trees, so I wasn't sure if I could find anyone right away. But to my surprise, Hamilton to the rescue! He came two days in a row. The first day was already getting late, so he cleared the road way and got a car freed from the tree debris. The second day, finished and kept us informed on the progress since we could not able to be there. Hamilton charged a fair price for an emergency situation. Hamilton did a great job trimming two of our trees that were overgrown. He picked up all the branches and hauled them away. I recommend him.

I just called them on Wednesday and they said they could be out on Friday. Had to move it to Saturday, but when they arrived, the got straight to work. I had two stumps that needed grinding. The first one was a little bit harder in that there was a metal stake in the trunk. Not a big problem for them. In a matter of minutes they have gotten the stump down at least six inches ( more like 10) below the ground level. My other stump (from a California pepper tree) in my front lawn moved even quicker. They did an excellent job and I would gladly recommend them. read more
