The criticism was never constructive, always mean and rude, breaking students down instead of building them up. It was a very toxic environment and my daughter was often told by the owner and some of the students that she did not fit in and wasn't good enough. The owner is only a tap dancer and that's all the studio would like to focus on. There are other much better, well rounded, more professional studios in the area.

I was out for an event earlier in the evening and decided to check to see what else was going on that night. They have a full calendar of events throughout the month but this one is held the 2nd Saturday of each month. You do not have to be a student here and you don't have to be the best dancer, but you should be open to learning and enjoying dancing. I appreciated that the dance lesson allowed everyone to be involved even if you came alone, as everyone lined up and switched partners throughout the lesson prior to the dancing portion. Most of the other attendees were very nice and willing to have fun, which I appreciated. The studio is a lot larger than one would think from the store front and it was very clean. They had pizza, snacks and candy that was included in the price, as well as a cash bar. They accept cash and digital payments (like Apple/Android Pay). There aren't many night clubs in the area, but this had the feel of a local club when the lights went down and everyone began to dance the night away!
