I recently started attending classes at Cycology 202 after signing up for a great "back-to-school"…read moreoffer --- $49 for two weeks of unlimited classes, and I've had a great experience so far. Located in the Glen Eagle shopping center (near the Gap, not far from Whole Foods), there is plenty of parking available. Upon walking inside, I've always been immediately greeted, checked in, and offered my size of cycling shoes (which are required to wear, so bring socks but don't worry about your sneakers). Without prompting, the instructors have recognized that I am new and offered help in setting up my bike to suit my size. There is bottled water available for purchase and they place towels at each bike station prior to class. They do not allow cell phones in the exercise rooms. Once everyone is set up, the instructor turns up the music and dims the light except for a few spotlights on the instructor, which feels like a club atmosphere. At times, especially when encouraging us to pedal as quickly as we can, they actually turn the light off entirely, which helps to keep your focus on yourself. They encourage you to pedal to the beat, then adding additional movements like push-ups, crunches, and arm weights while pedaling --- which is a real challenge and a great full body work-out. Classes can be reserved in advance via their website or their app, and you are able to reserve a specific bike (which was useful for attending class with a friend). The studio also offers barre and HIIT classes, but I have yet to try those.

This place is awesome. Riding in a dark room with glowy lights makes it feel like a club. So much…read morefun.

One of the women who is a regular said that the studio had recently been taken over by a new owner who has let it go downhill. Pathetic way to run a business -- looks like I'll be sticking with Pure Barre in Greenville moving forward.

I am so glad I started at Be Barre Fit. I started in Jan 2016, before my wedding in May, with the…read moregoal to tone up and make sure I felt my best, but I couldn't stop there! I have now adapted the morning classes into my weekly routine. I love how strong I feel after class, and love seeing the changes and results... My legs have never been so firm! Each class has a great ab/core segment, but you will find you're actually engaging your core the entire time which is great. You can start at any fitness level and literally walk in with NO idea what you're doing like I did, and soon enough your body learns the moves. The instructors really know how to challenge you (and get those muscles shaking!), but still walk around and observe each client, ensuring you're doing the moves with proper form, for safety and for best results! The instructors and regulars are all very sweet and welcoming, so there is no intimidation factor! Try a class! :)

Salsa In the Suburbs - A great group after a dance workshop!

Big dance schools like to hold you back & put everyone into a single curricular mold. I was always bored and wanting more. All the other staff members & students here are knowledgeable and welcoming as well. Socials and practice parties are an added bonus. I've always loved Salsa, but now my interest in Bachata has been piqued as well. Do yourself a favor and try Sensual Bachata! Julie is a particularly great coach! She is always pushing and challenging me. Even when I am not sure of my abilities, she strives to get more out of me. This personalization is what I've always wanted and that other schools are lacking. In addition to the dance instruction, Julie is a blast to work with and we laugh the entire lesson. I'm learning so much, getting in a great workout, and having a great time while doing it! I highly recommend Salsa in the Suburbs and all it has to offer for your dancing desires.

I'd been to classes at another venue before, and while I enjoyed those classes, I do appreciate the different levels they have at Salsa in the Suburbs. They structure the classes well so that you can put together a routine by the time you finish up a course. The instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We went to one of the later classes in the series, so we needed some clarification on a part of the routine that we had missed in prior classes. One of the instructors, Craig, was great about showing us what we had missed and helping us both get it right. He didn't just show us what we had asked about; he asked us to do the entire routine to make sure we understood it all, which was great. I'm looking forward to attending the rest of the classes in this series as well as the higher-level classes.

I have lost 30lbs on my weight loss journey and Purenergy has been a huge part of that! For less than the cost of that massive gym in King of Prussia and way more variety than the "Citrus Concept" down the street, you can enjoy similar class offerings, free babysitting 8:30a-12pm Monday to Friday, and twice the ambiance! I find myself in Yoga a few days a week - the studio is beautiful and the mild heat is welcome in these bitterly cold winter months! I recommend Kristy's Wall class for a great deep stretch and Sarah's Power Flow for the ultimate mind/body stress relief! As part of my New Years Resolution, I am trying more of the fitness classes here, and thus far have taken Lisa's Tabata and Michelle's Burn class - both high-intensity interval training guaranteed to ramp up your energy! You'll also find pilates, barre, aerial, spinning, and martial arts classes here - ensuring you'll never get stuck in a rut! I'd personally love to see more Pilates or core based classes in the evening, but realize that has everything to do with instructor availability and member interest! :) Beyond the class offerings at Purenergy you'll find a welcoming atmosphere, clean locker rooms, and fresh towels for the sweat you're guaranteed to break! Drop in for a class - you'll be a member before you know it!
