This is such a professional, organized and very skilled group of instructors at this A+ school. I really believe this is the best school out there. Many many vehicles all properly maintained, so many instructors. They give you so much time in the seat with both driving and skills. Small groups, no more than four people in group. These instructors are kind and generous with their knowledge. I'd like to personally thank a few of my instructors because they each helped make my dream come true of being a class A driver. if you go through Swift, you'll be treated like a number. I had the worst experience here. Seems like the owner favors men of lighter complexion. The instructors were great except for one. He's an older Latino male who won't put on his seatbelt while he's driving with you the owner Tiffany horrible talks to you in a condescending tone heard from past students that she's been like this. With them her attitude is ugly and power and the they drive you in from Swifttrucks that breakdown and they blame it on swift which I get but at the same time you're running a business unless you're paying them I wouldn't go here if you go be aware Swift should train through the DMV this woman is picking and choosing to her liking and belief your told something completely different from everyone else on the first day then she shows her face and starts asserting power keeping good people from getting jobs they've dedicated WEEKS TO with NO PAY! read more

I enrolled in this school through the WIA EDD Office for a 4 week course. I have nothing but good to things to say about this school. You are provided plenty of information and study guide material for obtaining you drivers permit within the first 2 days, the next week and half to study your Pre Trip on the yard with actual trucks. The material provided is sufficient even if you didnt have a truck in front of you. Don't expect anyone to hold your hand through this course. If you study the material there is no excuse for failure. I had a great experience here at ASD. My instructor Andrew Dither is an excellent instructor. Very supportive and encouraging but also firm. I recommend this school if you are interested in acquiring your Class A Drivers License. read more

The instructors here were a great bunch of guys!Especially Jim They were always ready to answer questions. I have made some great friends that have helped me prepare for a new career. I will miss each and every one of them! They made sure we had every tool available to help us learn our new career safely and efficiently.They had a opendoor policy you could ask them anything and they were not judge mental they were on your side not just a number.Charlie and Vicky in the office treated every one like family.If you had no food they would provide two meals free.Out of there own pocket.Also if you fell behind they would keep there instructors there late just to help those who needed some more training.Keep up the good work ASD. read more

I went to ASD a while ago, but the knowledge I learned there will last me for a life time. The instructors taught me everything I needed to know about operating a big rig. I was only 23yrs old when I attended Advance, but with there unique way of teaching I blew through the whole course with ease. For attending this school for over 3 weeks I learned exactly what I needed to know to take & successfully pass my class A (written & driving) exam at the D.M.V. In 2 weeks they gave me the skills to go to the DMV and get my commercial license with all endorsements. The instructor was knowledgeable and patient. After graduation I have gone back to get the latest DMV tests when it comes time to renew my license. This school sticks by it's students long after graduation. Charlie, the "director" is a pompous ass who acts like he is king of the world and everyone should bow down to him. Prior to finding out that a fully disclosed medical issue was not going to pass, he bragged that he could get anyone through short uncontrolled blood pressure. Great school. I lived my experience that I recieved. I passed my first go around and I thought everything flew by very smoothly. Just got my class a today, passed my first time taking it. Their trucks are proper and clean, run real nice compare to other schools. Would recommend this school to any one interested in getting a cdl class a license. Their price is much better than other schools too. I recommend taking the four week course. This school is great. They tell you what you need to know. They reinforce it and keep going over it so it makes sense. They make you feel welcome and direct you where you need to study more. Of course you have to learn it, but they do all they can to help you learn it. Just DO what they say and you will be okay on test day. read more

I went to this school in 2011 and received my license with ease. I also recently needed to add some endorsements and the receptionist was very helpful with providing me all the information I need in order to do so.
