This school is Awesome, because of there program, staff and instructors I was able to pass my Test with the knowledge I needed to obtain my CDL license. For anyone who is looking to get there CDL license I highly recommend this school for the price and time but understand that if you need help talk to your instructors trust me they are willing to spend time to train you one on one but sometimes there are days where alot of people who are attending the school are also trying to pass and sometimes the instructors are swamped so my advice get to know your class mates and ask them for tips and tricks. This is a 10 star school. It was worth the wait. Just started this month. All the positive stuff people say about this school is true. I did my research for about 2 months trying to find the best school. I met Frank the first day he is the manager very nice guy and really cares about students education. All the teachers are very helpful and approachable. I probably drive them crazy with all the questions I ask, but I really appreciate their patience. The instructors show all the backing maneuvers the DMV will throw at you. The part I like about the school is the groups are small so you have plenty of time to practice behind the wheel. So far I've been working with 3 instructors Roberto, Tony, and Sergio. These guys pushed my class to the best of our abilities. Sergio really goes out of his way help the students. He is very encouraging. In the end you really get what you pay for and your paying for the best trucking school in California. This school is amazing. Let me start off by saying they make everyone feel welcome. From the lady's in the front office to the instructor they are very helpful. You have a question they have an answer. The instructor go above and beyond to help the students. The students also help each other. It's a friendly but professional environment. I sat looking at my phone reading all the reviews thinking wow this sounds amazing but can it really be that great? And let me tell you, it is! I am so glad that I chose this school over other options. As soon as you walk through the door you're greeted by the most friendliest faces Elizabeth and Maribel. They will answer all your questions and concerns and become the people you look forward to seeing. The trainers are outstanding !! They are there to help you learn and are eager to do so. The way they break down the skills into a clear perception on what to do is eye opening. Ignacio in particular was my go to trainer. He was always there to help me and when I felt discouraged he always reminded me I could do it! His knowledge on parts for the pre trip inspection was so helpful. Rosie is probably the nicest person I have ever met. She took me on the road for my first time and made me feel so calm and comfortable at the wheel. I was very disappointed at end of my training the trainers were really nice and helpful. I was there for a few months I received training but didn't finish. I asked the receptionist how I can go about finishing my course because I missed too many days. She then told me I had to pay full price so i asked for the short brush up course and the receptionist said no I would need to pay full price when I didn't need that many hours to finish. They wouldn't work with me and I was surprised they were really helpful before. They should try to make their students happy and not give us the run around. We are paying after all. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!! ESPECIALLY if your from FedEx. I came to this school with a voucher from work and the lady that is in charge of FedEx people screwed me over. At first she told me everything was fine, than three weeks later she said I had to fix my voucher. So I went to work canceled the voucher and made a new one, she told me everything was fine. Three weeks later again I get a call saying I need to "fix" something else so I go to work cancel it and remake a new one, she tells me everything is fine now. Three weeks later AGAIN she calls saying I need to fix another thing, I go to work only to find out that I can't fix/cancel it because my voucher have been "approved" so I let the lady know and she has the nerve to tell me that If I can't fix it than I should pay for it out of my own pocket! What kind of professional are you?! Keep in mind they get a lot of FedEx/Amazon people so they have gone through this a handful of times to know what is wrong/missing on the voucher. This lady is also very unorganized because when my friends applied they received a couple of packets/questions yet me and some other people didn't receive anything, we had to go and ask for them. This place is really ghetto but the trainers are really nice though, the ladies in the office are really nice too except for the one that's in charge of "FedEx/Amazon". Also most of these "5 start reviews" are robots or they are payed for just so they can have good ratings. read more

This is the best trucking school hands down!!!! They will help you get your license no matter the skill level. Chris is one of the best instructors at TDA he's knowledgeable and has great patience with you and knows his stuff! Frank the director is also a great person. I went from not knowing anything to getting my license within a month but that also depends on how fast you learn and pick up the education they teach you. The school went above and beyond to make sure I understood all the basic maneuvers and parts of a truck. This place is a huge scam, instructors give you a brief example of what to do, then tell you to just try until you get it, they have you clock in on an app to track your "training" hours, but really you sit under a tree for hours waiting to get your 15 Minutes in the truck, I sat there for 5 hours and got 15 mins in a truck, and when I went to cancel the coarse they charged me $100 for every hour of "training" total scam would not recommend this class to anyone there are better places, they just want your money read more

Be careful of this school no one even care , My husband went there to get the program through WIOA . First they are unprofessional never answer their phone never explained the program or even show me the place to get an idea what I'm getting to. Lastly the most ridiculous thing I had to go through english test as its not my first language I never heard of trucking school ask for this !!I did the exam via zoom the person was working from home with all the noise from her kids around , imagine how can i focus? also the exam is PDF on the screen which I don't have control to scroll up or down or even choose the answer?? so the lady was asking me verbally for few seconds then scroll down rationally without giving me chance to reread the question plus the noise was around her and her kids and there is no transparency how would i know she put my answer as i don't have control on on the screen ? Also they said the results in 1 week or a little more its more than 2 weeks and no respect or even answer. The lady answered me very rude and said we can't tell you !!!!! Are you serious. The school charge over $6000 which over pricy but they do this because it's coming from the state. They cause me a big issue that I can't get approved quickly for the program because of them. I started @ Truc Drivers Academy on. March 18, 2019 and I took my driving test on May 7, 2019 and " PASS "...I started school with no knowledge on how, or what I was expected to do to maneuver a tractor trailer. I was overwhelmed b4 I even started school , but the instructor's along with the atmousphere around the campus PROVED I could accomplish what it takes to be a " CLASS A CDL HOLDER " graduate! I was able to learn the technique's to maneuver my truck in and out of tight spots; able to learn double-cluchting and down-shifting with a one-on-one basis w/instructor on daily over the road training which Charles had tremendous patience and extremely high experience. I learned at my pace with no pressure from the school or instructor to learn at a quicker pace other than mine. Such a great school.
