My husband doesn't have Yelp but he wanted to give this school a shout out: Class sizes aren't too big. The schedule is a plus, lots of different times to choose from. Knowledgeable and friendly instructors. Good communication when setting up dmv appointments for your test. I wish their seats adjusted in the trucks but hopefully with more business coming their way, they can upgrade their equipment. Overall, I would definitely recommend this school. I had looked around for a trucking school and some places were crazy expensive and charged females more than they did males which is RIDICULOUS but pilot doesn't do that. I paid 2,450 which is very reasonable considering what other places wanted to charge. The office staff are always friendly and they are keeping up to stay clean because of covid they did enforce mask wearing and had cleaning supplies in trucks. I started school in September and passed my dmv test in December. Mon-fri is available by appointment to avoid overcrowding and Saturdays are full 5 hour days for those who can't come mon-fri but staff are always very understanding and will try to accommodate your needs. My only issues were low staffing in the beginning of me starting, low on properly working trucks and In my opinion I believe more actual drive hours would be ideal but I passed with only 2 or 2.5 hours but I also only went 2-3 days a week so if you do attend mon-fri you might get more drive time. students do help eachother out which is cool. Honestly if I would have read these reviews I may have not gone here. I am happy that I didn't and decided to come here. I went to practice for about a week and a half. Thank you Christian for you much needed attention and support. Rodrigo whom gets a bad review on here is actually very supportive. I personally believe he is a great person. I ran into some issues with health two months ago soon after I signed up. He was very understanding, he will actually work with you and help you with what you need. As another good reviewer mentioned on here, he will work win you if you ask. From most of the students that are there they will tell you that pilot trucking schools methods work for them. I did hear a few complainer but from I noticed they wanted all the attention to themselves. They showed up when they wanted and complained that they weren't learning. I started going last Monday practiced hard all day from Monday June third with Christian and passed my test first try June 13th. I'm no better than anyone so if I can do it, anyone can.
