I just had my second cleaning service yesterday. I won't be using this company again. The first cleaning was good, except they ignored my request that they clean baseboards and thoroughly clean my shower in the master bath. The cleaning products that they used left my house smelling amazing for several days. This second cleaning was a joke. I honestly don't believe they vacuumed and they certainly didn't mop my bathrooms. There was a spot in the middle of one of my bathroom floors that I noticed before they came, it was still there after they left. And my home doesn't smell fresh like the first time. They arrived at my house after the 2-4pm window they gave me, so perhaps that's why they did a poor job. read more

Easy to reach responsive customer service, and the cleaners did a great job!

This company is dangerously unprofessional. I hired it about two years ago and the cleaning was fine. Until the day when I came back home to find the cleaners l did a lousy job, like putting clean sheets over old dirty sheets ( upside down) So I fired them and explained why. Hoping it was just one instance, I made an appointment last week, asking for a responsible crew because of the last incident. Today, I came home to an open gas valve on the stove, running from about 3pm to 11pm. The entire house smells and I had to find alternative accommodation for the night. Needless to say, I won't be paying for that service again.It is highly irresponsible and even children know not to play with flammable gas. If you value your property, don't hire this company. read more

Years ago this used to be a good service however my recent appointments things have just fallen completely off. Coming home after my most recent cleaning cause me more things to clean up after them. To list a few thing. Dirty shoes were placed on my chair. Items in the bathroom were all moved out of place and not returned. My curtains were left pick up on a chair so they could vacuum under them. (Not that bad but put it back) The bed was poorly made Dishes in the sink were just put in the dishwasher to wash. The couch was not put back nicely. There was a painting on a entry table that was knocked of and not put back. More importantly my basement was not even touched. We have had a checked past on there 1st cleaning they broke a glass lid and checked a pedestal sink. The were able to resolve this issues. I used there carpet cleaning service to try to get extra life out of a lightly stained carpet. There were able to steam clean and get the stain out however the stain remover bleached my carpet. I have new carpet now and they were not made aware of the issue. That same day they cleaned my fridge and left all the items on the deck. I figured this was my fault as I asked them to do there fridge clean not knowing it just meant throw my stuff in trash bags and place it on the deck. This also was never discussed as I said I would not use them again but I did a few times.... This was the last straw the attention to detail is gone and in my opinion that's the only reason to hire a service. read more

I have been using Ash Maids for a number of years now and have been thoroughly satisfied with their service. They are always so accommodating in rescheduling an unforeseen conflict in my standard appointments. The ladies for the most part arrive within the scheduled timeframe and get the job done very well. They always ask me to check and see if everything is to my satisfaction. I don't understand the unsatisfactory reviews. Just check before they leave and they will make it right!! Nobody is perfect and some things may be missed. I have also used Ash for mold remediation and flood cleanup and they were superb in both instances! I highly recommend this company! read more

We have been trying to find a team or person to clean our home the way we want it for about a year! Ash maids is fantastic, they thoroughly clean your home. I asked for things like vacuuming the dining room chairs and the lady said she was already going to do that! Stuff I wanted to get done was done. We have 2 cats and a busy/messy toddler and they made our home immaculate! I can't wait to see them in 3 weeks. That's the other great thing you create your schedule! Overall our experience w/this firm has been great - To help w/a smooth process when the Team arrives, we usually communicate any special instructions/critical info when making the appointment. Terrible terrible experience. I'm warning you. Do not use Ash Maids. Let me break it down. 1. They do not clean you house well. They only clean well on the 1st service (1st service was very good!). After that, they leave spots on wall, dont clean under furniture, and do not mop the kitchen/dinning room floor unless you stand over them and make them. If you don't watch them, they will cut corners. 2. They are always late. They are just as bad as the cable company. Between 12-2 turns into between 12-5. The final straw was when they had my wife waiting in the house all day and canceled to return the next morning. After repeated calls asking when they will show up. All they kept saying is in 1 hour, turn into the next day when I had to turn my keys in. 3. After they came a day late, they charged me an additional $90, stating that it took an extra hour to clean an empty house (I moved out). When I called, they said it took an extra hour to clean the refrigerator and oven (which most companies clean anyway). Total came to $270 for an empty townhouse. Beware hidden charges! 4. When I called, no remorse. No apology for being a day late. No refund for charging me an extra $90 without my authorization. Please, there are plenty of other great services. Dont let them trick you after 1 good job. read more

I have been using Ash Maids for more than 15 years. I have always found the team to be professional and responsive to my needs. I am particularly pleased with Ash Maid's response when from time to time the cleaning has been lacking. While this does not happen often when I inform them of the problem, the response is quick and the mistake is not repeated. On another note, the team is respectful and trustworthy. They have cleaned my home many times when no one is home. Whether we are present and have the ability to monitor; or whether we are away, the quality of cleaning is the same, excellent. Finally, AshMaids has also been responsive to special tasks such as carpet cleaning, providing a helper on a hourly basis for major projects (such as cleaning out a room prior to a major renovation); deep cleaning appliances such as the stove and refrigerator. The carpet cleaning technician arrived promptly for the scheduled appointment. He previewed the area and moved promptly on completing the entire house, efficiently. He was courteous and friendly. I plan to use Ash Maids again for carpet cleaning and maid service. My neighbor inquired on using the service as well. My rating for Ash Maids is a fat ZERO - no stars earned; no stars deserved! I was scheduled for my 3rd cleaning with Ash Maids on 4May18. The maids arrived 1 1/2hrs after the scheduled time. They looked tired and were not amenable when I asked them to pay particular attention to floors. They also PRETENDED not to understand the English language and spoke only in Spanish. "Vanessa" would not speak at all. One hour after their arrival, they were at the front door removing cleaning supplies from the house. The cleaning was scheduled for a minimum of TWO hours or until satisfactorily completed. I asked them to wait while I inspected the floors. They bolted to the car and drove off! I called the office & spoke to "Elsa" who offered to send a different team the following morning to "spot" clean. requested a full refund and was offered $45. I agreed to a reclean of the house; however, notified my Bank and BBB of the poor service and lack of professionalism demonstrated by the maids (Vanessa and Susanna). The following morning, maids did not show up at 8:45 as scheduled. I called the office and spoke with "Elsa". I was told the maids had notified the office manager that morning when they were told to return to the house to reclean (NOTE: I was promised a different cleaning crew) that they were "afraid" because I had yelled at them, shoved Vanessa, and yelled "Come back bitches!" when they departed the house. The email was very accusatory and also mentioned the possibility that Vanessa and Susanna were going to take me to court. The email informed that my home would not be recleaned and I would no longer be serviced by their office. I received a receipt of the charges for the FULL amount for the cleaning! I responded to the email with 11 photos to support my claims: dust bunnies throughout the home, soap scum in the bathtub, sink and tub still dirty, floors dirty, furniture not dusted; baseboards, window sills, and light switch plates not wiped. What did they do for an hour?!? Fabricate their story to prevent from getting fired? And, the business took their word without question. I have retained an Attorney and disputed the charges to my Visa card. Buyer beware! Do not hire Ash Maids for cleaning services. NOTE: Yelp is requiring me to rate this business with a star. I have been very sick with the flu and needed a maid in a hurry because the maid service I hired did not show up and we were having guests at our house. I called in morning and they came in the afternoon. First, the phone service was incredibly professional. 2nd, the two women, Patricia and Rojas were incredibly efficient and professional. 3rd a supervisor, Irvin, stopped by to check on the work, and discuss other options. I had a first time cleaning based on the recommendation of my neighbor, who used them for a whole house cleaning when she moved out of her house. I was very satisfied. They were particularly good about putting things back in the same place (or nearly so) before they cleaned them. There were very pleasant, and paid attention to what they were doing. There were a few things I had them do over -- dust tops of a couple of picture frames. I liked them well enough to hire them for additional services. We have had this service for several years now and have been very pleased otherwise we would not have continued! The young women are very friendly and well - trained and if we have any issues (only once in perhaps 3 years) we can get the supervisor on the phone easily and it is taken care of. They are very flexible in comparison to having say an individual cleaner as they have a large staff and can accomodate changes. Suits us very well and although we are mostly there as we are retired I would trust them in the house alone and you can give them a key etc. Sometimes 3 cleaners come and other times 2.
