The woman who did my brows was fast, professional, and very thorough. I don't have very full or dark eyebrows, so I like a more natural look, and she definitely kept that natural look for me. I love how they came out. After my appointment, she gave me helpful information about all the services the salon offers, including a full list with prices. They also have a points system where the more you spend, the more points you earn toward discounts, which is a really nice bonus. Overall, I am so happy I came back after all these years. She was friendly, informative, and clearly cares about her clients. I went in for a simple lip and chin threading, and I'm honestly really upset. Somehow she managed to cut up my chin with the thread. I don't even understand why she was threading so low on my chin because that's not where my hair grows. I didn't notice the cuts until I got back to my car. On top of that, there was still hair left on my chin and lip that wasn't even removed. Definitely won't be going back. I can't recommend this place. read more

Let me start off saying before 3 weeks ago i never in my life gotten a brazilian wax i was always super nervous to get one. i'm going on vacation and wanted to try. i lived in bayside all my life and i know the owner Asha very well. i decided to try out asha's beauty salon i called on the phone to get information i spoke with Nisha she was friendly and very helpful from the beginning it took a few days to make up my mind but it was the best decision i made Nisha made sure i was comfortable and make sure to calm my nerves. today i came back for full legs and i was convinced to get a vitamin c facial i most definitely am super satisfied she also recommends waxing and facial packaging after 3 waxes you get one free and vs versa for facials. i will never look back!! I've been going to asha since I was basically 13 years old. The service was great until after Covid there was one woman doing eyebrows and all the other services they offer. She is currently still employed and doing everyone's brows. I noticed a couple things over time: 1. This specific woman with glasses she is older; has misshapen my brows over time and caused unnatural shapes 2. She has sliced my eyelid the last time I was there which was 4 months ago 3. I got mine done today by her hoping it would be better only to find out my left brow is THICKER than my right... my brow tails are literally different thickness and shape I am disgusted by this eyebrow job 4. I'll never be returning they lost me as a customer I caution everyone NOT to go to this place they do an unacceptable botched eyebrow job! read more

I have been going to this salon as a loyal customer for many years but there has been a decline in customer service. The staff are unfriendly and unprofessional (especially the older lady with glasses). When I asked for her for specific changes to my eyebrows, she seemed annoyed and kept mumbling something to herself. Eyebrow threading places in this neighborhood are far and few and this is 5 minutes from my house and open when I get off work. Came in for eyebrow threading- the aesthetian worked quickly and I even remarked this was one of the most painless threading experiences I have ever had. I have been a customer of Asha threading for 15 years and this is the first time I decided to try their henna services. I had just gotten engaged and needed henna done, I showed her via text prior what I wanted and asked the price where she quoted me $150. When I got to the shop, we talked about it again and she wanted to charge me even more, I was so confused and even showed her the texts of our conversation so she agreed to the original price. I showed her an inspo photo and didn't expect it to be exact but she was going to fast and honestly, it was just messy, not even and downright UGLY. I was very disappointed as this was a special day for me and I needed it to look perfect. She was boasting how she's been doing this for over 20 years but the job looked as though a beginner had done it. At the end, I was not happy but still gave a tip and she goes " oh, that's it? I thought we said it was x amount" "That's okay it's fine" She made me feel guilty for not paying the upcharge from earlier even though we had already discussed the price and disregarded the fact I gave her a tip. I wanted a simple clean up . I have thick but kinda course eyebrows so I tend to let them grow out which sometimes causes my eyebrows to loose its shape. Mind you this isn't my original eyebrow spot but I needed something quick for my trip and I work in the area. I tell her just to clean them up and to keep them thick because I was already skeptical. My right eyebrow she did alright. It wasn't sharp or clean but it was a good base for me to just start tweezing at home. I let her know I liked it as is and to have my left eyebrow match. As she's doing the front of my eyebrow, I felt her going up really high as she's shaping up the bottom. I ask her to stop to check bc i felt like she knew she messed up and was gonna try to make my right eyebrow match but that was the last thing I wanted. I looked and I became visibly mad. My left eyebrow looks so stupid. No type of arch, front of my eyebrow basically thin,and gone. I told her to just leave them like this and I'll pay for her service (even though i didn't want too) but I was on break at work so i didn't have time to continue to go back and forth. 0/10 don't recommend read more

I have been coming to this salon for a long time now and I have really noticed the service decline over the years. Today I stopped at 4:30pm to do my eyebrows and there was only 1 person working. I understand that there was already a customer however what I did not appreciate is that when I was asking the customer if she mind if I could do my service that takes 10 min at most 15 min. Apose her service that she claim would take 45 min. Before the customer could even respond she was telling the customer in their native tongue what I can only assume was to say no. Very disappointed that the establishment does not have enough personel to accommodate the customers. Very dissatisfied customer. read more

I went to Asha for about a year for my eyebrows and I was never 100% satisfied but it was fine for being local. The last two times I went there they screwed my eyebrows up so badly and made them so uneven. They really didn't care very much either. They told me everything was fine as long as I used a eyebrow pencil. HUH? I had perfectly full eyebrows before going in, I would have never even entertained using a pencil! She somehow made my eyebrows look worse than when I came in. There was about a 10 minute wait. Seating was nice. The place looked clean. I was very disappointed with my eyebrows though. The woman didn't shape them well. She took forever and she over trimmed them as well. I had to go home and clean up what she didn't, reform my shape, and I will have to fill them in with makeup until they grow back because they now look thin. I will never go back. They don't even have hand mirrors to allow you to look at your eyebrows close up. Never again. read more

Never trust a salon that doesn't have rubbing alcohol available on demand. Filthy. One trick to avoid post threading breakouts is to use a cotton ball and rub alcohol over the threaded area. It avoids breakouts. No cotton. No rubbing alcohol. She hands me toner and lies telling me it's rubbing alcohol. I woke up this morning with my face full of mini pimples. Buy rubbing alcohol!
