Sigh, I hate having to update with a lower rating, especially since I had a nice experience before, but it wouldn't be right if I didn't honestly share what happened. I came in tonight for a Brow cleanup, and held my lid skin taut like we're always asked to do. I didn't recognize the technician, younger lady, at this visit. I felt like her pressure on my skin was a bit rough, but I figured she was grabbing the lighter hairs and did what she needed to do. She soon asked about a bump on my left lid. I told her that it was (ironically) a scar from a threading gone bad... that I was nicked (at a different business), left with a scab, and that scar was the result. She kept asking if/insisting it was a pimple or blackhead. Let's pause for reaction here:: In all my life, I've never seen a pimple grow on a eyelid (at least never on mine... is that even possible?). Regardless, this scar that I lived through was most definitely from a prior unsuccessful threading incident. It wasn't until I emerged from the chair and looked in the mirror I realized I HAD BEEN NICKED! I asked calmly what happened, as I felt a mild sting (but was kinda used to that sting we get right after threading). She blamed me, for I was pulling too hard, and she clipped the "pimple". (For the record, the last time I was nicked like that, I was blamed for letting go, and my eyelid wasn't taut enough to glide over.) Had she simply apologized, or even acknowledged the slip, I would've let it be. Nope, she tried to gaslight me into thinking it was my fault for tugging "too hard", and insisting my scar was a pimple. Folks, whether the surface of your eyelids are smooth as eggs or bumpy like a moon surface, a good threading technician should be able to adjust their pull, swipe, and pressure adequately, or at the very least GIVE YOU CUES to keep your skin safe from harm. Regardless, I leave the photographic evidence posted. #NoFilter. Stars kept for decent shaping, no wait, and observance of covid safety precautions. Price is now $10. read more

i usually I go here for my threading and simaa does my threading but this time I went on Sunday and there is another short girl so I ask her simaa is not here? and she didn't say anything about her and than she told me oh have sit I do good eyebrows trust me I know this.......so I thought let's try and she did my eyebrows and upper lips. my eyebrows are uneven and thin she make. one eyebrow is arch and one round she make them thin. And she cut my skin with threading and my upper lip also . I never go back to that place if I feel like I want go I will wait for simaa. simaa is the best I love the way she does my eyebrows.please guys I recommend you that do with simaa and don't go on Sunday in the salon. read more

I got my eyebrows done and waxed my arms here! I was urgently in the need to find a place that would take me on a Friday afternoon and luckily Paris Threading Salon was able to! She did a great job cleaning my eyebrows although it hurt a little bit more than usual ( I think they use synthetic thread ) but overall came out nice. The arm wax was quick and painless which is very important to me. I go to a lot of places where it takes them 30 min to arm wax when is should take 15-20. Overall I liked this place and would recommend if you ever need. read more

This is the second time I've been here. First time I went Pari did a great job on my eyebrow. However, this time I went and I'm not sure what the lady's name is. She did a TERRIBLE job. I asked her to fix it 3 times and she still did it horribly. She also was one of the most painful experiences I EVER had with my eyebrows. I'm really upset and will definitely not be driving out of my way unless Pari is there. I have to wait a month now for my eyebrows to grow In and correct themselves which is the most annoying part of getting your eyebrows messed up. read more

I stopped by this morning with an appointment, but I was a little late. I received a follow-up phone call to confirm whether I was coming or not. The person who called me was very nice and understanding. When I got there for my appointment, they provided a dress/gown to change into and got right down to business. I went in for waxing (my first ever) and it was a good first experience. Yes, some parts were painful, but that's just normal. Other parts were not as painful, also normal. Overall, it was fast and efficient. I think it was moderately priced. I will be going back for future waxing needs! Edit: So, I have an update. The day after the waxing, I had bruising around my knees and other parts of my legs. The bruises didn't go away for days and I got waxed for my wedding! I didn't even think about the bruising until my bridesmaids pointed out how it's not normal. Fortunately, my wedding dress was long and none of it showed. I'm still keeping the review as a 5-star. But the bruising is something to keep in mind for my next time. read more

This place is decent. Honestly, depends on who is working that day to do your eyebrows. Definitely had some good days there and some very BAD days. The owner usually does a decent job, as long as you're specific on what you want. One of the younger girls took off almost everything one time though. And my eyebrows came out so messed up. And sometimes, they are very consistent on trying to make you try their other services even when I consistently say no, I don't know how much more clear I can be. read more

Great thing about this place: price is good and they do a decent job. Problem is, they're under staffed on the weekends. I've been here since 1:40 and it's 2pm on a Saturday and I'm still waiting while writing this. They have one person on the floor and I'm shocked. This is the second time this happened to me. I am always so hesitant about trying out new eyebrow places because I have usually had bad luck (too thin, too arched, uneven, burnt skin from waxing) but mine were getting a little too unruly and I swear from getting them waxed now. I finally decided to go and try it out and I am so happy I did. It took less than 10 minutes and it cost around $7 which rounds up to clean $10 with tip making it very convenient. I will definitely make this my permanent place. read more

WARNING! Do NOT come here for eyelash extensions!!! I recently visited Pari's to get my eye brows threaded and eyelash extensions done. I chose this place because the price seemed very sensible, it was the closest place to my house that offered this service, and I wanted to get them done as a surprise for my boyfriend's prom. Since this was my first time, I only had what I've seen from YouTube videos to gauge what was happening. I was hit with a red flag almost immediately when the lady didn't tape my lower eyelashes down before coming at my upper eyelashes with tweezers. However, I gave her the benefit of the doubt that she might have had a different methodology. Soon, she began glueing clumps of hair to random places along my top lash line. The glue got all over my waterline and one clump of hair actually got STUCK IN THE CORNER OF MY EYE. Soon, my eyes were swollen and teary which completely destroyed the disaster that was already on my eyelids! After my eyes were already blood red and irritated, she refused to continue (which was actually a great idea) but made me so emotional because she had only gotten my right eye done and half of my left. I ended up going home and had to rip each of the clumps of eyelashes off (approximately 10). Since her glueing was sloppy, all of my natural hairs were TORN OUT with the clumps- save for a few that I salvaged on my right eye. I am so disappointed with the service. If you DO NOT have formal training in eyelash extensions, please do not advertise this service just for the money! I would have paid you to not do the damage you have done! read more

I've been visiting Pari's for as long as I can remember and I recommend this place to everyone I know. Parveen and her associates are all the best at their craft! In the past, I have regrettably ventured out in the city near my office to find anyone to help me out in a pinch if I have to travel the next day. Big mistake! The associates will help shape your eyebrows perfectly rather than making them too thin. Prices for services are incredibly fair as well. The associates are friendly and efficient. I had been going to this place for years. And because of my last visit I will never return. I always let whom ever is available to thread my eyebrows. Unfortunately on my last visit it was a lady had never threaded my eyebrows before but she destroyed what little eyebrows I did have. My eyebrows are very thin and short and some people have a hard time shaping them properly so I am usually very lenient with the results I get but this time I believe it was negligence. On top of her horrible job she told me that because I was paying with my debt card I had to make an additional purchase to met the minimum needed to use my card.
