The eyebrows were okay but I could barely tell the difference from when I came in. The lady that was working when I went was not too welcoming. She should try to be more warm and inviting. Needs to work on her people skills. When it was time to pay she was quick to ask me about the tip. That is definitely a turn off let me finish paying and then decide how much I want to tip. She didn't even think to mention that there was a reward card available, I had to ask for it. Normally when the eyebrow ladies are done they give you a napkin or even help you clean the hair off your face.. she did not. Don't know if I will be coming back. Yea I would get my brows done here cuz they occasionally would get them right but this place has left me with uneven, overdone eyebrows way to many times. I got my brows done here the last time and they left such a harsh divit on my right brow, overarched. They don't even know how to follow a simple brow line. I recently went for a set of new lashes as advertised on a Groupon, price was decent 40$ for a new set first clients only, while getting my eyelashes done I noticed it was done extremely rapidly a full set done within 40 minutes. Which if you have gone to a lash tech that's pretty unheard of...after the set was done they came out nice wispy and I paid for a 10 minute massage which was very nice and relaxing.... waking up the next morning almost half of my right eyelashes have fallen of and I noticed the lashes were glued to eachother instead of being put on each individual lash, waste of money the lashes are basically gone after 2 days. read more

First time threading eyebrows ($8)!! Co-worker recommended this place that she goes regularly. It was just one of those small salon in the neighborhood plaza. Nothing really fancy, but the result is great! Let me just tell you, it does hurt!! During the process, I thought I wouldn't have any eyebrows left! It just felt like she was threading off a lot of hair. But the result is CLEAN (felt like deep exfoliation), sharp, and great. She even got those tiny hair that wouldn't really grow out (is that a little tmi? sorry :P). The threading stylist, Nina, is fast and neat. I think she is the only person running the salon, so scheduling is recommended. They have other services too: facials, waxing, Henna tattoo, etc... Guys are welcome too! :D p.s: So it has been over a month since i threaded my eyebrows. But my eyebrows grow out very neatly, and it's really easy to maintain it. Although they offer plenty of services here in addition to eyebrow threading (today, I noticed a sign that they're even doing temporary eyebrow extensions!), but that's all I've gotten done. I live in Boston, but always make a stop here when I come back to visit for the weekend. Even when they're busy, the longest I've ever waited was 10 minutes, and that's rare. I've had my eyebrows hacked to the thickness of a few strands of hair way too many times, so I really appreciate how they pay attention to the natural arch and thickness of my brows. The Salon is bright, airy, and clean. It's also CHEAP! I believe it was 8.50 (possibly 7.50? Sorry, I don't remember exactly! Either way, very inexpensive) for eyebrow threading. Parking is easy to find - with muni-meters on Bell Blvd, or free street parking on the adjacent streets if you don't mind walking just a bit. read more

Very convenient threading place in small shopping center on a busy street in Whitestone. They have about a dozen parking spots in front which is useful since the area is usually crowded on the streets. The couple of occasions I have been here it has not been that busy which is good because there is usually only one woman offering her services although there are about a half a dozen chairs. If it gets busy I could see the wait getting long since each service can take up to 10 minutes depending how long it has been since the last time you got your eyebrows done! The place is very clean and my eyebrows always come out looking great. Average price of $8 for eyebrow threading. They accept cards which is a plus since I am always forgetting to put cash in my wallet. Definitely a place to go if you are in the area. When they first opened up they were offering free Henna tattoos with eyebrow threading so I took them up on their offer. I got a flower on my wrist and it came out so cute, the woman took her time to make it look nice with details even though the service was free. It lasted about 5 days, that was definitely a nice customer service touch that made me come back from time to time. read more

You can't deny it, the woman has skills. I travel from Corona Queens to this threading shop because my brows always come out neat, sharp, & full. I've gotten my brows threaded at other places but for some reason they never come out as crisp - maybe she has magic thread? She's an artist. So I had no other place to go. She over threaded my eyebrows to top it off. If you like a fuller/thick eyebrow look this might not be your place. Jeet is wonderful!! I used to go to Reshma which is closer to my house, but they are nothing compared to what Jeet does. I'm so glad I found this place. Jeet listens to what kind of style you like, is patient and makes the process very smooth and quick. I would feel sharp pain at times when I went to Reshma where the ladies there either nicked my skin or messed up my brows, but never with Jeet. When she was gone, I was so lost and I literally didn't get my eyebrows done until she came back. Jeet is the best and she never disappoints.
