I came here for a haircut after seeing all the great reviews for Nilima. I'm a busy mom on a budget and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately I must have caught Nilima on a bad day because she seemed pretty annoyed at me, not sure why. I was only customer in there for awhile and I came a little before my appointment time. I had to ask a few pieces to be fixed before I left, which again she seemed mad about. I won't return so I don't bother her again. Overall im content with my haircut. I'm sure she's great , I just had a bad experience and felt uncomfortable. read more

I'm so happy that after years of not having a hair salon I loved I found one so close to where Iive. I tried Lemon Grass after scrolling through Groupon and needing a last minute hair appointment (like usual for me). Lemon Grass wasn't my first Groupon pick because they had basically no reviews but they could see me that same day, so I took a chance on them. I'm so happy I did, I had a great haircut and have returned multiple times since. They always squeeze me in with a last minute appointment and accommodate me when I just want a trim without getting a wash/blowout as well. I had my eyebrows threaded here twice. I had a horrible eyebrow experience once in high school and haven't let anyone touch my eyebrows for the 6 years since. The night of my proposal I was suspicious so I risked Lemon Grass to do my eyebrows for me. They killed it, and had me in and out within minutes even though I was a walk-in. Next step is to trust them coloring my hair, something I have always done myself (for 7 years). --------------- Update! After many great haircuts and eyebrow threading I finally trusted Nilima to dye my hair. She did a wonderful job with the cut and color. My hair needs a lot of TLC because boxed dyes has done a number on it, but it looks a hundred times better now than when I first walked into the salon. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded a few times here and the owner has done an awesome job. Very patient and takes her time to get out all the hairs including tough in-growns. And so painless! I will start off by saying I have an obsession with eyebrows lol. With that being said, this place is great & offers more than just threading. I been boycotting getting my eyebrows and lip done for a while now. Mainly because I am constantly disappointed with other locations. Normally when I get my brows done I get two different shapes, too skinny, or half the hair wasn't even threaded at the end of the brows. When I walked in I was taken right away, no appointment needed for threading. She LISTENED to what I wanted, and took her time to do them. I hate when I start saying what I want done and I just get " yes yes yes ok ok " and then I leave unsatisfied. Happy to say I found my new threading place close to home. I've gone here 3 times for eyebrow threading and the first 2 times were great with Nilima, but this time I cannot say the same. I've spent over 2 years growing out my eyebrows to get them to where they were and was given someone other than Nilima to do them this time. She was pulling so hard that she kept breaking the thread and I was in pain. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for 2 years now and never could say it was painful until this experience. One eyebrow is now noticeably thinner than the other, and will probably need a month or two to grow back to where it was. I just needed them cleaned up, I really don't know what the reason for stripping a whole layer from my eyebrow was when they were fine as is. It was stinging for 2 hours after. Note to self and other patrons, just be very specific in what you want done to your brows. Nilima does do a great job though, so just ask for her. read more
