Apparently they are unfamiliar with the fact that they are on Groupon so I had to call back when someone from the company was in the office to get on the schedule. They had availability for two weeks later. I wasn't in a rush so I don't mind the wait. I wasn't scheduled for the 12-4 time window. On the day of I had a work commitment that came up last minute. They were very accommodating when I called so I was pushed further back on the timeslot till after 3 PM so I could be home for the service. The technician Isaiah arrived and informed me what he was going to do. Afterwards he sent me a detailed report with photographs of my gutter system. Thankfully, everything looked good and I did not require any additional services after the cleaning and tuneup.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. Although they sent a crew to make repairs, I had to pay hundreds of dollars to fix the resulting interior water damage. Unfortunately, the roof leaked again the following summer and then a third time a few months later. Throughout the process, Aaron assured me the company would address the issue. However, after weeks of communication, he claimed the leak was coming from the skylight and was not covered under warranty. The problem is that the skylight was also installed by the same contractor. More concerning, Aaron stated that he had personally inspected the property, but security camera footage and family members confirmed that no one from the company ever visited my home on the dates he claimed. What is most disappointing is not just the recurring leaks, but the company's apparent unwillingness to take responsibility for its work. A contractor's true reputation is measured by how it handles problems after the job is completed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I have filed a complaint with the Montgomery County Office of Consumer Protection and hope for a fair resolution. If you hire this contractor, be prepared for potential ongoing issues, repair costs, and challenges obtaining warranty support.

I cannot recommend Blusky Roofing and Restoration too highly. Don't be fooled. Higher price does not mean better service.
