Good service, thought the customer care was efficient. The doctor was very understanding and went through multiple options which were suited to my insurance. The assistant was also very helpful. During the duration of my gum surgery the doctor consistently asked whether I was feeling any pain and solved the issue accordingly. I have now been attending Ashburn Dental Care for two years now and have found that it is a good place for my family. The clinic however can get a bit busy as there is only one dentist in the clinic so the wait can be a bit long. When it comes to Dentist I do have a tendency to feel quite nervous, I have been to other dentists and every time get quite anxious. However since coming to see Dr. Rizvi I feel quite relaxed and comfortable. Hence I have become a regular. I would highly advice those with kids, he's great with them seeming though he is a family man. I moved to Ashburn a few years ago and goggled "dentists in Ashburn", Ashburn Dental Care was one of the first Clinics to appear I thought I would give it a try, due to my previous experience with dentists I was a bit hesitant but decided to give it a go. The website was at an average standard but when phoning in I found the customer care to be exceptional. The clinic is a very traditional practice its quite welcoming and clean,but can do with some modernisation. Not sure if that makes a difference to people. read more

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Rizvi (Ashburn Dental Care) since he moved to Ashburn. He has been the only dentist my children have seen since they were very small (age 2) and they have wonderful teeth. They actually look forward to seeing Dr. Rizvi and his assistants, whom have worked with him for many years. It is very convenient to be able to make a single appointment for all of us to have our teeth cleaned at the same time. Dr. Rizvi and his assistants are highly personable, patient and delightful with our children as well as gentle and skilled technicians. We have been fortunate to only have needed a few fillings all these years and I have never once felt as if we were being pushed to have unnecessary procedures. Dr. Rizvi is very up-to-date with dental technology, including his CEREC machine for crowns (which thankfully I have not needed!) When I first looked for dental care for my children in Ashburn, I wanted a small practice that did not feel like visiting a Chuck E. Cheese franchise and really could not be more delighted. Scheduling has always been easy and flexible. For instance, after a recent snowstorm, Dr. Rizvi opened the office on a Saturday to accommodate missed appointments from earlier in the week. I hadn't been to the dentist in 7 years due to dentist fear and required a lot of dental work. I visited Dr Rizvi's web page and learned about sedation dentistry, sent an e-mail requesting an appointment and explaining my fears . I was called within a couple of hours and my consultation appointment was scheduled. They were very friendly It was so refreshing to have such respectful people around me instead of being looked down upon and lectured. Dr Rizvi completed the exam and then we sat down and went over everything that needed to be done. On the day of my appointment, I took a pill an hour before my arrival time and, by the time I got to Dentist, I was feeling totally relaxed. I had no hesitation or nervousness. I have a few memories of my appointment on that day, but none of it is associated with pain. I had no pain the next day. My fear of the dentist has subsided because I know that I can have pain-free dental procedures, if necessary. I've been seeing Dr. Rizvi at Ashburn Dental Care for a number of years. I am extremely satisfied with the care I have received from Dr. Rizvi and his staff since 2009. They are very personable and reasonable in their pricing. I first came to Ashburn Dental Care when my dentist was unable to see me, I had been having major tooth pain; he was able to see me right away. After my visit with Dr. Rizvi, he recommended that I see a specialist to confirm his diagnosis, not wanting to conduct a procedure that wasn't 100% necessary. Since that experience, I have had a number of fillings changed, a root canal and bi-yearly cleanings from this office. Both of the dental hygienists - Zuhay and Vanessa, are great! They both are sweet, familial, and great at their jobs! I had 3 previous dentists which I left for some reasons and I choose Doctor Rizvi for the following facts and reasons: 1- He informs me about what he is going to do with my teeth before doing it 2- He explains the procedure and reason on X-ray picture in his office computer and gets my consent before any dental procedure. 3- He performs the procedure as quick as possible without leaving me alone for a while like others 4- He doesn't push me to get an X-ray if I don't think it is necessary 5- The crown job that he did on my tooth didn't required me to go back for fixing it like the other three dentists 6- No un-necessary follow up visit unless I feel pain or bad feeling about his job which never happened. 7- Never surprised me with unexpected procedure or out of pocket expenses I have done 4 fillings and one crown with doctor Rizvi on a tooth that was filled by other dentist. read more

So its been a while since I have been to go see Dr Rizvi, my checkup was pretty straight forward and regular. I had to make a last minute appointment before the festive holiday, it was nice for the staff to fit me in last minute. There have been quite a few positive changes and new faces. However improvements are being implemented and I can see Dr Rizvi and his staff take any feed back in a positive way, It was as usual a very pleasant and comfortable visit. I had seen a alternative Dentist when I was out of state as a emergency, I had minor issue that were that was making me feel quite uncomfortable. When I came to see Dr Rizvi he really went out of his way to fix it and made sure I knew what the problem was and the alternative options to fix it. Overall amazing as usual. read more

5 star dentist for me and my entire family. Dr. Rizvi is such a caring and considerate doctor that I truly don't understand why he would get any review below a 5. I feel very blessed that this practice was recommended to me and I genuinely trust Dr. Rizvi's opinion and treatment. He explains things very nicely and goes out of his way to make sure I'm comfortable. The staff is also very caring and professional. I especially love that everything can be done in his office as my previous dentist would refer me out or ask me to make another appointment while my crown was made. I went here because the office is close to my house and since I am new to the area I needed a dentist anyway. Since they have late hours, open till 8:00, it was a great fit for me because I work very late and most dentist offices close at 5:00 which sucks because I can't get out of work. My experience was very good. I didn't have to wait that long which is always a plus and the dental work done was performed by the dentist and not an assistant. I hate going to offices where the dentist comes in for 5 seconds, does a quick check, and leaves. My family (4 children and husband) have been going to Ashburn Dental Care for over 2 years now. The kids love (!) going to see Dr. Rizvi, he makes the experience fun and I'm happy because we receive excellent care. I've always dreaded going to the dentist ever since I was a child but Dr. Rizvi and his nurses are so kind and efficient and that makes me less nervous and apprehensive. I have been going to Ashburn dental care for over 10 years. I have been very happy with the entire staff- they are curteous, caring and always helpful. I enjoy checking in with them every 6 months and have also been bringing my twin 7 year olds here for their check ups. Dr Rizvi is amazing with them- excellent bed side manner and his staff always makes us feel right at home. Awful service from dentist, infection danger. If you try to discuss your symptoms, they will tell you to find another dentist. Doctor asked me where my dental work was done before I started the treatment here. After months, when I got several infections, the doctor claimed that it's because of previous dentist, which doesn't make sense. Doctor irresponsible for treatment. Many of the reviews are smaller treatments and one seems like unreal and scam. read more

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences since I began going to Ashburn Dental Care around six years ago. Dr. Rizvi is very professional, patient, and knowledgeable; which was demonstrated when he stayed at the office (after hours) to fix a filling that I chipped.
