It was near the lake and one of the places they hold rehearsal dinners, and things. These are older cabins that were brought in from my understanding and painted and some upkeep done. They are small, but very cute and serve the purpose they are intended for. You are able to cook a full meal in the kitchen if that's what you need to do. The bathroom where we stayed was plenty enough room to shower and get ready. Had a beautiful tree outside in the front yard. Might I add at the barn where the couple got married was absolutely beautiful. I know that they had gotten the tables and everything ready and they were just gorgeous. The property is stunning and very well kept. I don't think you could go wrong if you live in the area by renting this amazing space for your event. They also just rent the cabins if you want to do some wine tasting or just stay in Fisher for the weekend.

The horse drawn carriage is a wonderful touch, the fireworks were magical, and the venue options across the property are all so beautiful. I also want to say that the little houses/ cottages on the property are adorable and would be cute to stay in any time of year. They're quaint and so well decorated, welcoming and charming. We originally booked this SpringHill Suites location as our overnight stop. As our drive progressed, we realized we could safely make it farther up the road, so we booked another SpringHill Suites by Marriott location instead. We did not cancel our trip, switch to a cheaper hotel, or take our business elsewhere -- we intentionally stayed loyal to the Marriott brand and paid for another Marriott property. I completely understand that we booked a prepaid rate with restrictions, but I reached out asking if they would consider a goodwill exception since Marriott still received our business. The initial response simply repeated the cancellation policy. I politely explained the situation further and asked for reconsideration, but I never received a follow-up response. Policies are important, but so is customer service. Sometimes taking care of a loyal customer and looking at the full circumstances is what separates an average experience from a great one. A simple acknowledgment or willingness to help would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling like the reservation policy mattered more than the customer relationship.

We probably would not have gotten two if we knew the price. We could not locate the price listed anywhere. We did purchase a couple bottles of wine but may have purchased more if the samples were not so pricy.

All the staff here are so nice and amazing. They greeted us from the moment we walked in. I had spoken to the owner on Facebook when I was making the reservation and told her that we had a 5 week old baby and thought I might be bringing him. We needed up having Mom babysit so we could have a date. At least two employees asked about my son and why we didn't bring him. We felt almost like we were family right from the start. I can't wait to come back when they do another meal in a couple weeks! So to start, the only serve meals about twice a month. When they do, there is a dinner from 6-8 on Friday, a brunch from 11-2 and a dinner from 6-8 on Friday and that's it. You need to make a reservation the week prior or the week of. While marking your reservation you will place your order for the entree and whether or not you want desert, which I definitely recommend. When you show up for your meal, there will be a table reserved for you with your name on it, no turned tables here. You can walk around their little boutique until you are ready to sit down. We explored a little first. The architecture on the walls and ceiling are beautiful and will have you looking at them throughout your experience here. The first course will be a fresh baked croissant with homemade cherry butter. Next course is a succulent deep sea scallop on top of Napa cabbage covered in a bourbon glaze. The third course is a salad made from spiral cut zucchini and squash with heirloom tomatoes, dried cranberries, walnuts, and smothered in a velvety, cream goat cheese dressing. Then for the main course, we chose the chicken cordon bleu crepes and the hamburger Wellington. Both were out of this world good. The hamburger, which I had was probably 8-10oz at least, covered in caramelized onions and I believe chanterelle mushrooms, all inside a decadent flaky pastry. Then finally, you finish with a homemade blueberry ice cream. My only regrets from this experience was not getting a picture of the inside of the dinning area, the first and fifth courses, and not giving the chef a hug for preparing the best meal I have had in this area!

Typically at High Tea you choose your tea from a menu of various loose teas, a waiter then prepares and leaves a pot on your table, and you are given a large assortment of pastries and sandwiches that could double for lunch. What I got at A&B etc for $30 was a young lady (14 years old?) acting as waitress handing me a 10 cent Bigelow tea bag, and a small amount of food. I got about a half a sandwich, two meringues, two macarons, and a scone the size of an oreo cookie. I have never seen such a small scone before, they are typically the size of bagels. Had I paid $10, I would have thought "oh well, whatever", but paying $30 seemed like a rip off. Should the owners see this review, I hope they will take this as constructive feedback and make changes. I would love to attend a quality High Tea locally, and hope that the business continues to grow and improve.
