Don Pennetta, my sales associate for my second and now third HR-V, listens to me and understands exactly what I am looking for in my car and how he help fit it into my budget. This isn't always easy! Don always picked up his phone, was available on site, was communicative and readily gave me the information I needed. The staff at this dealership treated me with care and much respect. I had a lot of questions and the answers were explained to me in detail by all. Sales Manager, Richard Hamilton, personally assisted me with particular issues and was a stellar gentleman. Finance Manager, Gene Kinney, fielded many more questions from me, was very efficient and also very understanding. After the all the paper work was done and my new HR-V was pulling up for me to drive home, Chris Thompson, the General Manager of Vann York Honda checked in with me to see if all was well and to thank me! I can't tell you how appreciative I am of all these gentlemen and how they made what I consider a very stressful experience gentler and kinder. Thank you! I had called, but do not recall the fellows name and was told it was $1369 for the tank and to expect 2 hours of labor for around another $400. When I called back, I got a different person who ordered the tank and scheduled installation. We did not discuss the labor for installation. When I went to the dealership to have the tank installed. The service person stressed that they charge by the hour not by the job and expected it to take 4 hours. They were done in around 90 minutes but charged me for the full 4 hour time frame. When I questioned this. I was told that their tech was really experienced and they were charging for the full 4 hours at just over $770. Didn't you stress it was by the hour not by the job?? I cannot help but feel cheated by this. If you stress you charge by the hour why did you instead charge for the job and an estimated time vs. what it actually was. I will have difficulty trusting Vann York Honda going forward and will probably look to taking my business elsewhere. I would recommend you do so as well.

This was my first time ever buying a vehicle, and I'll be honest: I walked into the process with…read morezero experience. I'm a single mom with two kids and this car purchase was literally my entire savings, so the stakes were extremely high for me. I bought a 2019 Kia Soul from Bob King Mazda. A few days after purchase, I noticed some issues with the car and ended up taking it to Bob King Kia for diagnostics since it's a Kia. They discovered a pending check engine code related to the O sensors and replaced both sensors. The invoice showed the repair would have been around $850, but thankfully they covered it and I did not have to pay. I want to be very clear about something: the people I dealt with were great. Billy at Bob King Kia was very helpful and reassuring when this all started. Randy at Bob King Mazda was also great to work with. But the real MVP was Josh in the Mazda service department. Even when things were confusing behind the scenes, he stayed patient, explained things clearly, and treated me with respect the entire time. His people skills alone would make me consider returning. They also provided me with a loaner vehicle while the issue was being addressed, which I deeply appreciated and absolutely made a stressful situation easier. That said, I do have some concerns that I think future buyers should be aware of. When I first purchased the car, the coolant was extremely low and the engine air filter was completely clogged with debris. It was obvious those things hadn't been checked before the vehicle was sold. That's what ultimately led me to discovering the other issue in the first place. After 10 days of diagnostics and repairs, the jerking sensation I initially noticed while decelerating is still present, although it is not nearly as severe as before. The explanation I received was essentially that the vehicle has over 100k miles and sometimes cars just have their own "personality." Maybe that's true, but as a first-time buyer, I was hoping for a clearer mechanical explanation. To be fair, the dealership did step up and handle the emissions issue at no cost to me, and they treated me respectfully throughout the process. I genuinely appreciate that. However, I would strongly recommend that the dealership implement a more thorough mechanical inspection process on used vehicles before they're sold. A quick inspection by a technician could likely catch things like low coolant, clogged filters, or pending codes before a customer drives off the lot. At the end of the day, the staff treated me well and the issue I didn't know about was addressed. But as someone who spent their entire savings on their first car purchase, this experience was definitely stressful and could have been prevented with a more thorough pre-sale inspection. For now, I'm hopeful everything continues running well. Time will tell. And as a first-time buyer who learned a lot through this experience, I'll definitely be paying very close attention going forward.

Aka- farm country. 3 hours later, my car was loaded on a flatbed to go to the dealership in High Springs. The next morning Lindsay called to ask me what happened & to let me know they were behind on diagnoses, that there were several cars ahead of mine. Ugh. I explained that I was from Florida, visiting for work. I booked a rental, and relied on locals to help me during all of this. What blew my mind, a call from Lindsay again just before 5pm. Because I'm not a local, he pushed my car through faster & the lead mechanic, Chance, was staying late to narrow down the problem. Code was showing something wrong with fuel getting to the motor. 20 minutes later... he called again! I had just had my car serviced before driving Hundreds of miles & one of the air filters wasn't clicked in all the way! A simple stupid fix! I was relieved. Lindsay also said they had to fix a couple of recalls, but that my car should be ready by 10am the next morning! Stunned, relieved, but i was still holding my breath until the next morning - 9am, again earlier than he quoted- my car was ready! Seriously, I have never been stunned by customer service at a dealership. You all are the best!
