I stopped by here the other day because it is right across the street from my apartment complex. The beer was tasty and the people were friendly. They are proud of the fact that they are an organic brewery. I can't say it made the beer better but the Kolsch and Amber I had was good. They had a back room where you can play corn hole. I will definitely be back when the BBQ truck rolls in. read more

Friendly place, you can turn and talk to anyone there (employees and clientele) and wind up making a friend. Without a doubt a houseparty kind of vibe, however, I really enjoy that. I love the AMBER.... I don't know why it's so darn good! Maybe the whole organic benefits really come out in that particular brew. The canning thing is GREAT. Atmosphere here is chill. They have corn hole and food in the back so it's great with a big group. My go to here is the Kolsch, it's subtle and a great patio drink. What set's them apart in my book they are USDA certified organic. So for all the people that eat organic well now you can drink organic. :) read more

As I've probably said before, I am not a beer person. However, I love supporting small local businesses, and Eric loves beer. We visited Asher Brewing Company as part of our ongoing Colorado "beer tour." Eric reports he would give it a 4.25 out of 5. The tasting room is small but they are hoping to eventually expand. The owner was very nice. Eric's favorite was the Greenade. The beer is organic, which means they have to purchase the hops from places such as New Zealand (where apparently there are no pests that commonly attack wheat crops so they do not use pesticides). Tasty brews. Beyond low key. IPA is very good. All beers are organic. Parking lot outdoor seating. Colorado vibes. Needs free spicy peanuts, or some kind of in-house food. There is often a rotating food truck parked here, though. Also, would be nice if all beers were in the same sized glasses. The higher alcohol beers (e.g. Double IPA) come in smaller glasses and are more expensive. read more

Extremely laid back ORGANIC brewery and the brews are delicioso! There's a game room in the back with some old school stuff, bring quarters, or you can sit in the seating area with the locals. There's some outdoor seating and a food truck from time to time, though don't depend on it being there if you're hungry. You can always order food in or bring it yourself. Another brew pub in Boulder, darnit! Just kidding. I am looking for some good things out of Asher, and so far I think it's promising. Asher is a bit different though than the other collection of microbrewies Boulder features. They are an all Organic Brew House and that is what sets them apart-other than having a very good IPA. My boyfriend is a beer connoisseur so we spend a lot of time drinking beer together and talking about the various attributes while enjoying one of beers best traits-the buzz. He was very excited about Asher's opening-made even more so by the fact that he works across the street from them and was/is hoping to make it a regular after work spot. He wasn't disappointed, I was. The opening featured two brews-an IPA and a wheat beer. While his IPA was much too bitter for me-he liked it's "bite" and talked about it the rest of the evening. My wheat beer on a lemon-lime base I believe, was slightly too bitter for me. I tend to like my wheat beers to have more smoothness or creaminess to them. It reminded me of an IPA in it's aftertaste-not something I particularly like or look for in a beer. I liked the vibe-happy people and the electric organic green that the tasting room has been painted. I look forward to seeing more options out of Asher-welcome to the drinking field! read more

All organic brewery, one of the few of its kind. Definitely a cool little spot that also has a lot of value in cornhole. They have a huge list of people with the highest cornhole scores and they play in the back where the beer is made. A very welcoming and home-y vibe when you walk in with very laid back music to accomodate the mood in Boulder, Colorado. It's pretty small and straight to the point, they only serve their beer but it is pretty delicious. read more

This is an interesting place. It's on the outskirts of Boulder in an industrial park. The beers are very hoppy. All of them. The crowd is unique. I felt like we crashed a house party. Most likely will not return. Couldn't even finish my beer. Just not my personal tastes. read more

There aren't enough words to describe what an excellent brewery this is. The atmosphere inside and outside is friendly, inviting, relaxing and fun. Dogs are welcome with water bowls galore (just don't step in them); food trucks Wed-Fri, picnic benches and an outside speaker. Inside, friendly bartender conversations, regulars at the bar catching up and cornhole boards plus Foosball in the back room. Go through the back door and you'll STILL find friendly people just having a conversation! Everything from the Kolsch to the IPA to the Ginger beer is fantastic and organic. Great place. Friendly crowd and bartenders. This place is mostly for hop heads and if that's what you like, you really need to check it out. I prefer the kolsch and the ginger bomb seasonal. I wish they had a Hefe as well but they don't. All the beers are top notch. Great food trucks drop by too. read more

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon and we were the first to arrive. The bartender was super friendly and she was very knowledgeable of the beers. We had a taster flight of all their beers and loved every one of them. The Kolsch and double IPA were exceptionally good. Will be back again next time in Boulder! read more

When hearing of Asher Brewing Company, I was intrigued because they are a micro brewery in my hometown that shares my name. I checked out the website and found out that they give free tours! Score, right? Wrong. My brother and I went on the tour and found out they don't give free pints or even samples for tourists. As far as I'm concerned, the main reason people go on brewery tours is to sample some free beer. That is the only "free" brew tour I've been on that DOES NOT serve beer. After the tour, we went to the bar and I asked the bartender nicely for a drink. I asked if I could get a free beer or at least a discount because my Christian name is Asher. I received a cold "No" after she verified that the name on my license is truly Asher! The beers are good but PR and customer service needs some work. She was short with me and did not seem interested in having returning customers. If you ever visit the Boulder/Denver area, you can find a hundred breweries that serve great beer and provide you with a good experience (gasp). Go there, not here. read more

Great beer in a great atmosphere! The beer is excellent ,and the staff are very friendly and accomodating. The ladies behind the bar are always welcoming and fun. I wish they could bring in more food trucks throughout the week,but that is my only complaint. I will continue to keep this place on my radar for many years to come. read more
