Have better customer service when you can pick up a phone and say "hey is this a quick question, or I know you have been on hold, just a little bit longer" terrible front desk etiquette and this is not the first time I have experienced this. Even while being there- long waits with no acknowledgment. I wanted to stay a customer as I love the main vet but the front staff is awful on multiple occasions.

I had stepped away and did not see or hear what she said when she dropped the dog back off in the car with my daughters. Then they asked for more money and I paid and was still wondering what was wrong or what I just paid 260 dollars for 15 minutes? I called back and spoke with Portia the manager and she actually said I was wasting her time when I was trying to explain that I never saw or spoke with the actual vet and I still would like to and had followup questions or any questions actually I never had a chance to ask anything. Portia got mad that I was taking up her time and hung up on me. then she decided to take me out of system and said I had to find a new vet? that is crazy. I was not rude to a single staff member I only questioned her as to why I couldn't speak with the Vet and owner Dr Church . we have been coming to this vet for years and I cannot believe someone could treat a customer this way. Portia is awful. She is making things up and the only person who was out of line was her. i still would like to speak with Dr. Church. I paid you to ask questions and discuss what was wrong with our puppy. I still have not been able to do this. After reading other reviews it sounds like the office manager Portia does this often and has been overstepping her boundaries and treating paying reliable customers so terrible. Multiple times. We follow her advice on treatments, and then when one of the treatments didn't work, she made us feel like it was entirely our fault, despite following the dosage per her instructions. This has happened in a different context each time we come in on three separate occasions, making me wonder only one thing...why I am stupid enough to keep coming back to such a rude and unprofessional vet. If a cat and owner are not ready or seem highly confused, tell the owner it's okay not to proceed. I would have gladly paid the fee and waited until my cat and I were ready. This traumatic experience has haunted me for years. Here's the kicker. This vet was not my normal vet. She knew nothing of my cat's medical history. She just seemed in a rush to do it and leave.

However, after our second night with the dog, we acknowledged we couldn't wait that long. Mike spent his Sunday making it possible for us to immediately bring her to the county facility. The adoption fees are very reasonable (1/2 the fee of the humane society in Medford). The animals all looked taken care of. The volunteers are knowledgeable about each of the personalities; very helpful when looking for the best fit for you/the family. I was pleasantly surprised that our 9 weeks puppy had the majority of vaccines taken care of up to 4-6months. A vet visit is included as well as: 30 days pet insurance, dog training session (in your home or at the park) and an item from the basket (toys, leash, blanket, accessories, etc). The vet confirmed that our new family member is in "perfect health" *yay*
