To keep the story short, Mike (I can't remember his last name) the enforcement supervisor at the humane society managed to locate the owners and arrangements were made for us to return the dog to them in three days. However, after our second night with the dog, we acknowledged we couldn't wait that long. Mike spent his Sunday making it possible for us to immediately bring her to the county facility.
