That wasn't an issue as we were looking at a chevy at a Subaru dealership. The issue came while getting lending, to purchase the car. If you EVER buy a car here, DO NOT use the lender GLS!!!! What a nightmare! First, they have the absolute rudest customer service representatives. Second the CSR call all the time asking you to verify the same info over and over! I verified my info 3 times and they were texting and calling all day. I am NOT dealing with this all day. I called Raul in financing at Morries and told him I was returning the car due to this unnecessary harassment. He said he would contact the lending service and rectify this situation. He called me back and said they will call me 1 more time to authorize the loan and that was all they would need. WRONG!!!! They wanted me to verify ALL my info again! I called Raul back and He called then again; he called me back and promised me they would just do the authorization of the loan and all would be good. he apologized for the issues with this lender, and he said he would make it right for us, but after I authorized the loan, we never heard back from him or Mike the used car manager. I think they just didn't want to honor the 5-day happy customer policy. Will NOT buy here again!

I got strung along for a long time regarding things that were wrong with the vehicle when I decided to buy it, which I had brought to their attention immediately. They kept making excuse after excuse, with continued promises that they would take care of everything. I kept persisting until I was told that they weren't going to fix or replace what they promised, after months of stories and excuses, including that their mechanic cut his hand, then the mechanic was not at work, then he wasn't going to do it, so it would be done at an auto mechanic shop. They even had scheduled appointments for me and gave me the time and place, more then once, only to have each one be cancelled, on their part! The sticker on the window said everything was in working order, which it should be, I am paying a lot for this vehicle. I am supposed to have a 6-disk CD changer and told them it is not working. They promised to replace it, but did not. Even went so far to claim that they ordered one, more then once. Something about the seller did not follow through, the first time. There was a wheel noise on one side, and they never fixed that like the promised, so what a crock. The 3rd brake light was not working properly, and they replaced that, but now it is failing. It should definitely be under warranty, but now what do I do? I do not know where they ordered it from, and they ruined the customer relationship. Wondering if I should call the police to have the police contact them to ask. I know that might sound cynical at best, but I cannot send in a relative to ask, it might get ugly, that is something I am afraid of! I might have to call, but i am afraid to! I deserve recourse! He took the time to gather the facts, respond to our questions, seek a fair solution, and acknowledge what had happened. This was a breath of fresh air. During our time there which was more than 4 hours, I expressed that I thought I needed to wait on the purchase and everytime I mentioned a concern, they met it with some type of solution. I wanted to wait for a certificated vehicle that would be ready in 7-10 days, but the finance manager kept swaying me towards this car. The certified vehicle was at a different lot. I should have walked, but decided to go ahead with the ourchase. Some things needed to be done- we wanted the rust proof spray and they were going to replace the console around gear shift which was wite beat up, and so the vehicle would not be ready for two days. Still leary, I asked " do you have a buyers remorse clause". I was told by the finance manager " we have a 7 day return policy if you decide for any reason you do not want the car. Return it for the $$ or exchange." That night, had difficulty sleeping, next morning woke up with it on my mind. Had appointments in the morning but could not shake the bad gut feeling about the car. we received an email that afternoon that the work on the car would be started at 07:30 the following morning I called after receiving that email, asking to speak to the salesman and/ or finance manager- not available. I spoke to a manager and explained the situation. He said that the return policy stood and I asked to have our down payment refunded. He said he was going to contact the mechanics. I also emailed the salesperson and then called back again to speak to him, which I did, relaying all the information. My call and speaking to manager and salesman was less than 24 hours after we had been there. 2 days after my call, the finance manager called and spoke to my husband. He relayed the explanation, the manager said he understood, BUT would not refund the complete 5K because of the anti rust coating. We would need to pay the $500.00 My husband said "well arent you going to pass that on to the next customer", to which he replied that we needed to pay for it, because we had requested it. So, if you purchase a 23 Honda Passport from Ken Vance make sure they dont charge you for something that has been paid for by us. We went to Ken Vance because 10 years ago, we had a great experience- not again.

The axle was ultimately replaced, but leaving the grease mess it made for me to clean up. I get that techs aren't compensated enough for warranty repairs, but this is just plain laziness. I also bet Honda corporate would like to know they are charging for replacement parts and reusing the old. The axle nut was supposed to be replaced per WO and my original was clearly reused. I also would like to thank the tech who tightened my lug nuts to 200 ft lbs when putting the wheel back on, just the icing on the cake. Typical dealer BS, I'll take my business elsewhere.
