I bought a sectional couch and then added an additional piece. The additional piece has different leggings from the rest of the couch. It sits higher and it looks bad. I tried calling the store several times for help but they just kept blowing me off and giving me a customer service number that was useless. Disappointed by the staff. They hang by the front door and make comments about people. Super uncomfortable. When I was leaving the store, I said "we will be back!" To which the store clerk responded with "hopefully". And just for that, I will not be returning. We were planning to purchase a couch too but that comment threw me off. I bought one of the premium king mattresses set (Ashley Sleep Anniversary Edition Mattress) from Ashley at the end of 2016 under the promise of a 10-year warranty. Well, after 5 years the mattress started to show deep lumps which started to cause me constant lower back pains and I claimed the warranty from Ashley and they sent a technician to see it, take photos and he even told me that the lumps were deeper than their acceptable maximum of 1" (some were from 2 to 3" deep). Well.... I just got an email today telling me that they will not cover anything by warranty and that there were "stains" which voided it. This is absolutely ridiculous! Now I have to invest on a new mattress and to throw away this piece of junk that Ashley furniture sold me under the premise that any defects would be covered in what they refer to as "warranty". The only warranty you will get is that they will find a lame excuse to not honor it. read more

DO NOT buy anything from this company. I bought a piece online, received it on 8/9. Had to wait until 8/12 for my daughter to come over and assemble it (I'm old lady!) and we realized parts were missing, parts had holes drilled incorrectly and some parts just plain didn't match up. We are not able to assemble the piece. The next day, 8/13 I contact Ashley for return/refund and they say I am "past their 72 hour refund policy". Are you kidding me? 72 hours from the time the heavy box was dumped in my driveway by delivery. So basically I was 12 hours past 72 hours in notifying them. WHAT A BUNCH OF junk their product is. Now I have to contact my credit card company and file a complaint. And who only gives "72 hours" (that's 3 days) for requesting a return when it has to be assembled? read more

Grossly incompetent store staff , customer service and delivery staff. I correct bed rails delivered, which happens. Was promised a call back, did not happen. I called the customer service, who told me I'd get the rails delivered that day and to wait for a call from dispatch. Never Happened. Multiple days and multiple call center calls later , I was told the rails are out of stock and will be delivered January 2022. Then was told rails are in stock November 2021. Then told the wrong rails are being delivered in November. Customer service directs me to the store. The store directs me to customer service. Let's start this with my initial contact, the check in lady. Rosa, I believe her name is? She was absolutely fantastic. This review is based off two issues though. One, my items not being there. Normally I would understand logistical problems. Unfortunately, a representative had informed me that my items were ready for pick up and to go get them. As I live over an hour away, you can understand my frustration upon arriving. The second issue is with the management team at this place. Or lack there of. Rosa had absolutely no support from management in resolving my issue. When she tried to find her supervisor, he was unable to be located. Leaving there employee to attempt to help the best she could. And managers wonder why valuable hourly employees are leaving so fast... To conclude this experience, I was given an entirely different item than the one I had ordered in an attempt to remedy the situation. It was a nice gesture from Rosa but I am still stuck paying for an item I not only didn't order, but didn't want either. I hope to hear from someone soon on how my problem will be fixed but I'm not holding my breath. read more

Ordered a sectional couch and after 1 week the back snapped off a right arm rest recliner. Called customer service to set up the exchange. Two weeks later they delivered the wrong part. Set up a 2nd exchange and they delivered the wrong part yet AGAIN (same piece they delivered the 2nd exchange- left arm rest). Asked the delivery man to let me speak to the warehouse rep he was on the line with. I was promised by the rep at the Brandon warehouse "VIP service." 10 days later I've never heard from anyone. I've called the store now 5 times, leaving messages each time, and never heard back. DM'd @AshleyHomeStore and was told someone would reach out in 72 hours... nothing I called the customer service line today and was on the phone for 27 minutes. I explained my situation to 3 different representatives. They all transferred me to someone else with the last person sending me back into the call loop to be hung up on. read more

They are quick to take your money...and then good luck from there! Spent four hours trying to get thru when my delivery didn't show! Then a week later my delivery is confirmed and they only show up with half my split king bed bc only one was ordered and the other is sitting in the warehouse. So had to refuse the order. The dispatch lady was just incredibly sweet in trying to help me, but it really pissed me off when the customer service rep (who apparently is the only one there!) fussed at her for connecting our calls "bc that's just something "we" don't do." And then got shitty with me when I stood up for the rep! So now have to wait for my order to be put back into inventory and redelivered in a couple weeks. And my sales rep and the store manager were "in conference call" and were unable to join. Likely story to not have to deal with an angry customer. read more

Absolutely amazing people work here!!! The people who work here completely changed my thoughts and feeling for the Ashley furniture brand. My mother had purchased a bar stool from the Wesley Chapel Ashley store, NEVER again will my family or friends shop there. The chair was purchased for my father who has Parkinson's and it's to be used in aiding in getting him dressed. I drove up to visit my parents today and my mother told me that the bar stool that she purchased had mismatched pieces so we took it back to the store (Wesley Chapel) that she purchased it from. We talked with the rude and condescending manager, he told us we had to drive to the warehouse in Brandon (30 minutes south) and gave us a number to call as well(customer service). So we arrive at the warehouse and by this time I'm not happy but did at least get some answers from customer service. We go into the warehouse and up to the window for help and the lady who was there was absolutely wonderful!!! She was very kind and understanding and going out of her way to make things right!! When we got the correct parts the gentleman who works there made sure we had the correct pieces and all the pieces we need!! He walked it out to the car and traded out the wrong pieces for the right ones. He too was amazingly kind and courteous!! The people at this warehouse made me no longer turn against the company as a whole. I will make purchases from this company again, because of the warehouse staff, but will never step foot in the Wesley Chapel store again. I would hope the warehouse staff are paid more than the retail staff because they are the backbone and really changed my mind about the company. read more

My wife and I went into this store today to shop for a new bedroom set and as we were walking around my wife tripped on a rug that the corner was flipped up on. Right when she tripped a young Puerto Rican employee who was sitting on the couch next to where we were started laughing and stared right at us. I will NEVER go back to this place. I love to buy furniture from Ashley's. They always have what I want. Claudia is our favorite salesperson! She is so sweet. I love the fact that they always have what you want in stock and can deliver in a day or two. Very nice delivery guys too! And as far as delivery they are great. I went to the Warehouse twice in the past week. First to pick up a sectional and then again for a rug. They were absolutely swamped when I went on Saturday, with one guy working extremely hard to help everyone. It took 1.5-2 hours to get our sectional, but I can't say enough about how hard they were working to take care of customers (even impatient ones). Today I went back for our rug and the same guy, Chad, was working. I was in-and-out in under 5 minutes. Chad was kind, professional, and still working hard. Truly feel he deserves a shoutout! I will definitely be back to Ashley for more furniture. read more

Upon entering it took no time for someone to walk up to us, but all they did was introduce them self and then let my wife and I walk around on our own to see what was available and what we liked as well. Do not buy Ashley furniture. I ordered furniture that was delivered November 4, 2019. A nightstand was left off the truck and a bar stool was broken and missing parts. We are now in the middle of January and they still have not made it right. I will never shop at Ashley furniture again. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had. I ordered a set of night stands that were delivered in the afternoon and I didn't have time to open the boxes until I got home. When I opened the boxes I discovered one was damaged. I tried to contact the store at 8:20 pm to notify them of the damage, mind you they close at 9:00 pm. A lady answers the phone and then said "can join please hold." I was on hold for 15 minutes until I hung up the phone. I called back multiple times but no one answered, so I drove up to the store which is 20 minutes from my house. When I arrived all the workers were in the rear of the store huddling around talking as if the store was closed. They didn't even try to ask me what I wanted when I walked in, ignoring me as if I wasn't there. I asked for the manager and explained my disappointment in his store not answering the phone, and he made up an excuse saying "oh that shouldn't have happened." In my opinion this is common practice. Now I have to take the piece of furniture to their warehouse for an exchange, wasting time and gas. Buyer beware, after purchase customer service is horrible at this store! read more

My furniture arrived 3 weeks ago broken and they still have not fixed it. Terrible turn time on resolution.

Their delivery driver backed into my fence. I called that day to report it, it took them from the 1st of June to the 14th and many phone calls from me to have someone reach out to me to get the claim started. They asked for a picture and I sent one on the 18th, on the 23rd they asked for more pictures. Again this whole time not hearing anything from them. I told them no, they caused the damage they need to obtain whatever they need to rectify this. The insurance company is not doing anything to help and neither is the store management. They want me to do all the work to fix their mistake. They have zero customer service. Too bad too as I bought a new house and was in need of furniture for just about every room. 2800 sq' of furniture will be purchased elsewhere. read more

Sales person was very nice. Bought a bedroom set and a sectional couch, quality is good. Delivery was ok. Customer service beyond original sale was terrible. They had to come back 4 times, items missing, no screws, management could careless I had no bed for almost two weeks because they couldn't get it right. Managers also never returned many calls!!!!!!!! I eventually gave up and went to warehouse to get the parts I needed, which were wrong also. Bed is still not right ... Went on the store on the Memorial day because of the great deals. We bought a couch and TV console. Requested delivery after a week but we only received the couch with damage. They told us that the console is yet to be assembled. They even asked us if we did receive a message from them on the console, And even sent us a link to monitor the delivery but the link cannot be accessed. It was only after the fact that I found out that the company that prides itself on quality on it website, actually sells junk. Our recliner power chair lost all it's material everywhere the body touches it, and the underside broke so that the footrest would not stay down. I contacted Ashley furniture MANY times through email, sent pics, etc, and got the run around or no answer at all. We all ought to get together for a class action suit against false advertising. We had Absolutely the Worst Experience picking up a few pieces of furniture that I have ever had! We were told at the store to call ahead an hour or so before so they could get our order ready for pick up, we did, the lady on the phone acted like we we stupid for calling her... We get there and lady at the customer service counter (Probably the same lady) said it would be about 15 minutes, mind you it's around lunch time and we have our toddler with us... Their were about 5 or so people waiting and only one guy working on people's orders... About 45 minutes goes by, another guy said he had been waiting an hour and this was the third time he had been there today due his furniture being damaged... After almost an hour and a half, the guy fulfilling orders who kept asking me what I had ordered, takes me back to the customer service counter and the lady tells us she forgot to put our order in!!!! Probably cause she was to busy checking her phone and walking around trying to hit on the guys that work there half the time (You notice a lot when you stand there for an hour and a half)!! We wait another 15 minutes, now people that had come after us started getting their orders, and then we finally get ours! I haven't even opened our boxes up yet, because I'm to afraid the furniture will be damaged and I'll have to go back to that hell hole!! This was our first experience with Ashely's Furniture and it will with out a doubt be our last!! read more
