I brought my friend and companion to get groomed. He was really matter on his paws. He won't let anyone touch them. He's a rescue and has high anxiety. For that reason he is out under anesthesia during the groom. I dropped him off and when I came back to pick him up and it seems that the person who brought him to me after it had been a while of me waiting was hesitant because he had been cut and he was bleeding so he needed a antibiotic topical and had to wear one of the cone hats. I thought about this before I called to complain I feel like he was injured there and that they should be responsible for paying the paying for the antibiotic and The cone hat I'm not asking for my money back for the groom I understand that accidents happen I'm not trying to fuss at anyone in particular I just think it would be a good gesture seeing as how he was hurt there that they could bill for the cone hat in the top of the antibiotic. So I spoke with office manager and she was out when this happened she was on vacation I spoke with her and she said she would get back to me a few times and she didn't I felt like I was being brushed off and my little puppy is my love he's my little companion it means a lot to me that he was hurt there and I am upset about it but they should be upset about it too I mean it happened there the doctor looked at it thought it required anti-biotic ointment topical and the hat. But when I spoke with the office manager and she said she had spoke with the doctor and the others that had something to do with what happened to Anakin they suggested that he had a cyst that had I guess ruptured while they were trimming him at no time during the afternoon where I picked him up did the doctor or the lady who brought him out to me say anything about there being a cyst he said he accidentally got cut he's been bleeding and oozing and he has to wear the hat so that he can't lick his foot I was really upset but I didn't act out I went home and thought about it and obviously manager was back in on Wednesday and Friday I spoke with her after she had spoke with her staff and she said that basically it was Anakin's foot that was the problem and that the doctor had said he had a cyst remember and they never said that word to me when I picked him up so I am on a rant and I feel like I have not been fairly treated of course my my dog fairly treated at this point he had to wear the cone hat and it stretched both sides of his neck as it has even wearing it. So, if you were looking for a new vet or a new groomer you might want to read this about this rethink the visit if I can give it zero Stars I would so give zero stores

We never disputed a charge and always kept our account paid and up to date. We had an injured donkey that literally couldn't walk and Dr. Brown came out that day and told us that she just had a bruised heel. It seemed odd for how much pain she seemed to be in but we believed her and put her on bute and contained her in a small area as she suggested. A few days later we called her out again because there had been no improvement and she said it was because our farrier had not trimmed her feet often enough. We knew this was not correct because we just had her trimmed and the injury was very sudden. We just tried to do our best and keep her contained and on pain medication. They next week we were on vacation a couple of weeks in Japan and the barn manager called them out. Dr. Brown did over $600.00 worth of X-rays without calling us to authorize and still did not diagnose her. When we returned our farrier came out and told us she had two bowed tendons. He is familiar with Dr. Carter and was so shocked that Dr. Brown had not known that immediately the day it happened he said he would call personally to help us dispute the X-ray charge. We have attempted six times to speak with Dr. Brown or Dr. Carter regarding this and they refuse to contact us. We received a notice from a collection company for the $600 00 bill instead. Dr. Brown misdiagnosed two other horses at the barn at which we boarded; one was a simple thrush issue that she padded the bill to over $1,000 and another was a tooth surgery where she damaged an eye during the surgery and billed to remedy the mistake she made into the thousands. This was also price gouging a different non-profit. It's sad to think they would lose a loyal client for over ten years over a $600 mistake that they are responsible for.

This is the second time a scheduling error like this has happened. Between busy schedules and the cost of gas, this kind of mistake isn't just frustrating--it's completely unacceptable. I called and they offered a sweater to cover their chopped up hair cut in 80 degree weather. Not a refund or half of the money. I'm not the person that will complain often. Everyone at Ashley Hills is incredibly professional, courteous and compassionate. The training that my dogs (and myself) received has been life-changing! Logan works miracles!! I use Ashley Hills for grooming, boarding, training and day care and would not go anywhere else. They treat my dogs just like they are their own and that peace of mind is priceless. My dogs get excited when we roll up the driveway and that is a true indication of the treatment they get when visiting Ashley Hills. I would recommend them to everyone I know. I cannot say enough good things about Ashley Hills. I recommend them to everyone I know looking for a place to board their dog(s)! My dog gets so excited when we go to Ashley Hills. The staff is incredible and I've had nothing but good experiences in the 4+ years I've been using them. we had a family emergency and needed to leave with a day notice. they were very fast to respond and…read morevery accommodating. when we showed up they were quick to take our dog to the back. they sent an email halfway through her stay updating us on her, letting us know she was happy and having a good time. when we showed up to pick her up she seemed a little out of it, not really acknowledging us when she usually gets super excited. the first thing we noticed was her right eye. it was bloody and almost looked infected, there was yellow pus coming out of her eye. we asked the young girl at the desk what happened and she had no idea. she went to the back to ask someone else what happened and when she came back all she said was "we had a lot of big dogs here today, they were all playing together" we never selected anything involving group play, she is a very friendly dog but as a business you should think about the liability. we never gave any type of permission for group play and to find out the dogs were roughhousing...not a good look. we will not be coming back here and the vet bills WILL be coming to them. (pictures were taken after cleaning up her eye) UPDATE: Terissa called and gave us a more detailed explanation of Harleys stay there. she explained that they have turf in the back and something could've gotten in her eye, that could be the reason for her eye being irritated. she offered to cover vet bills and Harleys stay there. she was definitely very apologetic and we really appreciate her customer service. that is how you do business. thank you Terissa!

While I've transition to more work from home, so he doesn't need to go to day play as often, I wouldn't hesitate to send him there if he needed to burn off some extra energy or needed the interaction of other dogs. When I arrived to pick him up they showed me a video of the woman shaving his foot and him pulling his foot back. This, they said, meant two people were required; hence, an extra fee was assessed. My dog is 8lbs by the way and not aggressive at all. Next, when I picked up my dog they attempted to charge me another additional $15 because they assumed my dog was over 10 lbs even though I had already told them he was 8.4 lbs. The didn't re-weigh him, they just charged me based on their assumption until I said something and requested they weigh him there. He was 8.4 lbs. Lastly, my dog had fleas the next morning. When I texted them about this, she asked if he does monthly treatments. Yes, I said. Her response was then essentially "well, I wish I knew why your dog is on the treatment but still gets fleas". For a split second, I could appreciate the humor, but then I remembered the $91 I paid for this terrible customer service. I mean, if this is acceptable for you, then cool, but it isn't for me, so we won't be back, and I do not recommend.
