When my husband retrieved him, they had completely shaved all of his hair except his head. He looks completely ridiculous. He went in looking like a show dog and came home looking like an alien. The next day I combed out his beard. The one thing they did do was his nails. Except now he won't allow us to touch his paws. That typically means there was likely trauma involved. We fully know that his coat is thick and somewhat wooly, but it brushes and combs out without huge effort, some effort, but not extraordinary and he enjoys being brushed and combed. They should have phoned us before shaving him. The difference of how he looked before they "groomed" him is earth shattering. Now our beautiful boy isn't so beautiful.

They have cared for my 2 cats up to the…read moreend and when the end came for both the entire staff was loving compassionate and gave us the time and room to say goodbye with care. During our time here we have had to say goodbye to our beloved dog Chip who was my children's best friend for 15 years again always took great care of him and lovingly helped him pass. Recently we lost our Sarge who very suddenly had a medical emergency and needed to be let go. The entire episode was very traumatic for us but again I could not have asked for anything more of the staff. I now have two pups that they very thoroughly care for and treat us all professionally and with utmost care. It's a hard job to work with people and pets on some of their most difficult moments but they handle those with the same grace and care as the best days!

The vet I had was nervous around my 20 pound dog and held a plastic shield in front of his face while she examined him.. She did no testing and just "assumed" what it might be, started him on antibiotics, and told me to come back in 2 weeks for a recheck. My second visit was for a cyst drainage, when I called to make the appointment that is what I REQUESTED! When we got there the vet was not friendly whatsoever, held my dogs collar so tight I thought she was going to choke her, and stated they did not do cyst drainage and immediately resorted to scheduling our dog for surgery. Our dog is 15!!! Why would we want our 15 year old dog to have surgery? Why would you want to perform surgery on a 15 year old dog? When we said no she said okay I'll write your note and you're free to go. They then tried to charge us for a nail trim we requested but never received. I also questioned why I was even able to make an appointment for something they don't do? They essentially told me that their secretaries are not educated and that I should have been called back by a tech. Why was it not caught before I came? Do they not have a schedule? Can they not see what the appointments are for? I believe they wanted to keep the appointment so that they could still get paid and then schedule a surgery to be paid that way as well. I wasted my time, my money, and put my dog through an uncomfortable car ride at her age for nothing. I will not be returning to this vet and I will NEVER RECOMMEND to any one I know.

I called to make you aware, just a few hours inside of the 24 hour cancellation policy that I wasn't tracking, to find out that you're going to add $25 to our next visit. You're not cheap though will admit that Watson appears happy to get groomed there but I'll pay $15 to self wash over what is roughly $150 per visit (with tip). Michelle is very patient and shows the class different ways to train your pet if a certain way doesn't work with YOUR pet.
