Multiple people have assisted me with purchasing fish, and its really something that separates them from the competition. Fish are healthy, tanks are clean, and somebody is always there to help. Those who work the registers are extremely friendly and welcoming. I find my family and I roaming around here when the weather stinks just looking at animals. Never know what goodies you will find! On a final note, pay attention to the cats there for adoption versus surrounding pet stores. Here they are well groomed and very clean. I'm so glad I did! They do day visits which has allowed me to be away from the house for more than 3 hours at a stretch. Sight seeing here I come! I have had them come twice to take my dog out to potty and give him some attention. Both times I have received pictures and a cute report. When I got home he was contentedly sleeping in his bed. At one vet visit I mentioned to the vet tech that we would be boarding our dog later in the year, so needed the appropriate vaccines. She started to advise against boarding an old, blind dog until I told her we were going to Trails End. Her attitude suddenly changed and she said, "Oh, if your using Trails End that's great. They do a wonderful job and it is more like they are in a home." My son is coming to visit in July and I am so happy to be able to take my son to D.C. sightseeing and know that my sweet little dog will be given loving care while we are gone.
