do not order from ashley furniture!!! i ordered a king sized bed + mattress in march 2021. when they came to deliver the bed may 19. 2021, they forgot every screw needed to put the bed together!! it is october 7, 2021 and i have still not received any hardware to put my bed together!! i've called numerous times and have been told the same thing, someone will return your phone call in 24-48 hours. i've had this hardware ordered 4-5 times now for them to keep telling me that i need to wait 7-10 business days to receive the hardware. when i call back to the company after those 7-10 business days, no one has even placed a parts order for my bed!! i've spent $2,559.34 with this bullshit company basically to store defaulted furniture in my home. i've requested my money back numerous times and the response i'm given is we don't do that because the furniture has already been delivered in full, but we can offer a replacement. i have documented every email, every phone call with times and names of who i spoke with as well as what was told to me. i've gone to the store at the avon, in location and the manager joe only works one day a week -- sundays for 6 hours. i am a nurse, i work 12 hour shifts and sunday is one of my contracted days 7a-7p. this company is a fucking joke!! do not buy anything from them. you will receive faulty product and they will do nothing to refund your money or fix their fuck ups. ashley furniture and dsg needs to be shut down immediately! read more

Don't ever buy from here! Ordered item in early feb 2014. Item arrived and sat at store for 2 weeks and no one called. They arrived 3 hours late and they installed the bed wrong and parts were missing. They had to order the parts and I had to wait 2 weeks. When the parts arrived it took them two days to call me back to schedule a fix. The second time out, they still did not have all the parts. A 2nd time, I had to order everything again. Nearly 3 months later and I still don't have my item. Called multiple times and no manager ever came in. Came into the store and had to demand that the manager help. My wife and I purchased a sectional a month ago. They are supposed to be delivering it today. Friday my wife gets a call about a delay. They tell us that 1 piece of the sectional is delayed. I call back to get further information about what's going on, she was at work and couldn't talk. I talk to 2 different ppl who tell me it'll be here today, it's the ottoman that is running behind. Fast forward to today, we are supposed to be getting the sectional, today, between 415-715. My wife gets a text asking the best day for a delivery. I call to investigate, once again. The couch is being delayed, again. Another week. They sent an EMAIL to let us know that. An email. An email that no one received. I had work today, that I didn't go into. We have a naked living room that we moved ALL the furniture out of. But our sectional won't be here for another week. And we received that notification from a freaking email that NEVER came. This is how they do business. Cancelling a delivery the day before, through a email. I hope this helps someone else make a better decision. We will NEVER buy anything from Ashley's again. The kicker is we went to sears and bought a recliner to go with the couch, walked out with it THE SAME DAY. I would give 0 starts if it were an option!!! They sell you warranties, but they are WORTHLESS!!! My couch broke back in JUNE, and it is now JANUARY and it is still not fixed. In my opinion, Ashley should be doing everything they can to help/force the warranty place to fix what IS under warranty. Now, we finally have the parts to fix the couch, but the craftsmen keep rescheduling. I wish I had done my homework before buying. What an experience! First off, I want to say that the sales rep was great. She wasn't pushy at all and seemed like she knew a lot about the product. We found a set that we liked and had our credit ran to start the buying process (6/3). As soon as our credit was ran, we were informed that the set we were trying to buy was discontinued( Harlynx-King) and would not be back in stock. We were then informed that we could purchase the display model but would have to come in, take it apart, and haul it off separate from the rest of the set. Obviously we didn't want to do this and pleaded with the store manger to pay for third party shipping to have it shipped with the rest of the set. She declined so we cancelled the order and left the store (after wasting well over an hour). I waited a few days and contacted corporate and was informed that the model was not discontinued and would be back in stock. I called the store to inform the manager that I had found this out from corporate and was told to go ahead and order it online but that it would be cancelled a few weeks later with a discontinued notification. I then contacted online customer service again and was told again that the set was currently available in the king model. On 6/11, we received a call from the sales rep and we discussed the details of deal and were informed that they would give us 20% off plus free shipping. We decided to go into the store (where we waited another hour) to sign the papers but the deal was not what we agreed to. After an hour wait, the deal was finalized based on what we had discussed over the phone. Needless to say, you got our business this time but never again. Horrible experience. We ordered 4.5k of furniture and told delivery on most would be within 3wks of our order. Delivery date came and went with NO call, we had to call, on hold forever, actually had to go into the store and were told it wouldn't be delivered for 8 wks. We then canceled most of our order but told the table and barstools would be delivered 12/21 so we kept those. It's now been 5 weeks since we canceled and asked for a refund (still NO refund, and being told they can't see anything in their system regarding our payment, cancel of 3.5k of items and have no answer about our refund), items that were to be delivered on 12/21 never came, we never were contacted, received a text AFTER we called about NOT getting items giving us 1 option for delivery 4 wks AFTER we were told 12/21. We have reached out to the store manager and she has been no help. I highly recommend anyone NOT to do business with this company, I can't see them in business much longer. I understand we are in odd times and I would be willing to wait, but be honest and have proper customer service. read more

I bought my furniture early February. At the store I was told that my furniture would be delivered on 2/18, I just needed to wait 48 hours and call the "Customer Care line". So I called two days later. I was then informed that I would have everything delivered on 2/28. On 2/25 I received a call that said it was in regards to my delivery date and I needed to call back. I spent FOUR BUSINESS DAYS trying to get in touch with the customer "care" line, being in the ER and having a sick infant does not give me time to hold for someone to answer for over twenty minutes each day. So now we are passed my delivery date entirely. When I finally got a hold of someone at the customer care line the woman I talked to was rude and very unhelpful. The first thing she did was tell me "Oh, you don't even have a delivery date. You're not on the schedule." WHAT?! I paid over $1300 for furniture and I'm "not on the schedule" a MONTH later?! The first delivery date is 4/26 now?! After my interaction with her I was ready to swear off Ashley entirely and go take my business elsewhere. So I immediately drove to the store I bought it and requested a refund. Except only the general manager can refund... and he wasn't there. So I requested he call me and she said she would email him. I purchased a sofa and four chairs from Ashley Furniture two years ago and told that my furniture would be covered if anything happened to the frame, which was a lie. Spent almost three thousand and expected quality furniture. After owning it for a couple of months one of the arm on a chair began to move, thought it was a bad joint and called tho have it fixed to find out that the frame was not covered under the furniture protection plan we purchased. They did send a tech out to look at it and I was shocked to see that the frame was cut out of OSB( oriented strand board). The arm had a crack in it causing the arm movement. They patched it with a 2x4 and three or four screws, it is starting to wiggle again. I'm starting to notice that the back of the sofa is starting to move and make creaking sounds when sitting on it. I will never buy anything from Ashley Furniture again. Poor quality plus high price and extremely poor service. I have purchased furniture from a competitor of Ashley's for way less money and the quality is far better as well as service. read more

I purchased a sofa from Ashley in store in June. I paid in full as required and was told by the sales person I'd get a delivery date texted. It's 3 weeks later, and all I've received is a text to say I have no delivery date. I called the company and was routed to a call center who said they still didn't have a delivery date but were trying to get one. While on hold, I was listening to their marketing boast that they design and make their own furniture, have their own distribution centers and handle their own delivery. So the failure to arrange a delivery for a fully purchased product is squarely on the shoulders of Ashley. I was then told I have to go to the store or try to get through to them to cancel the order. After 14 calls to the local store, I was able to cancel the order and pay a 10% penalty! I just paid $100 for this store who can't deliver what I purchased! I'd rather give them that than $1000. I will never shop there again. I was told this is a problem in the furniture industry right now. While I understand there's a pandemic, that doesn't explain why this company who has total control over the sourcing, supply, and distribution of their stock cannot communicate a delivery date. I have purchased furniture from other retailers over the past two months, and while delivery has taken them longer (due to the pandemic), they've been able to deliver! And communicate! Ashley should be ashamed. And they should wave their cancellation fee. If they had done that, I might consider buying from them again. Now? No way. read more

One of the worst furniture buying experiences I've ever had. I did some research online and knew exactly what I wanted to purchase. I purchased a sectional and a bed for my new apartment. My first frustration was that the sectional would be delayed for about a month and a half with possible further delays and that the sectional could be delivered in pieces. I debated for awhile on whether or not to get the sectional, I had it removed from my order and the manager comes over and explains that I was saving about $800 on my order and if I repurchase at a later date the price would increase significantly. There wasn't many other options and I really loved the sectional so I decided to go with it. Once placed back on my order the sales associate explained that it wasn't $800 of savings it was actually quite less. The manger seemed to have blatantly lied just to receive a sale, shame on him. After the purchase the sales associate explains their 10% restocking fee Here's my issue how are you charging a restocking fee for an item that's not in any of your warehouses and will not be delivered to me for almost another month and a half? What if I changed my mind? I would have to repurchase an item with Ashley furniture and their selection is already limited. That was my second frustration. I went back to the store to cancel the sectional because I just couldn't wait that long and I replaced it with another similar sectional. Again the delivery date was two weeks out, so frustrating. Our bed took almost a week to be delivered and installation was a breeze. Well here we are 5 days later and last night I noticed a dip in my mattress. I pull the mattress back only to discover that all three slack supports were literally spilt in half and broken, one slack support didn't even have screws holding it in place and the other two were poorly constructed. I didn't watch the delivery men put the bed together because I assumed that they were professionals and didn't need to be monitored. I'm completely over this place at this point and I will NEVER make another purchase with this company. read more

In this current moment I wouldn't even give this place one star. I went in about two months ago salesman was great i purchased over 5,000.00 worth of furniture for my new home. First everything was good, i got an entire bedroom set and a sterns and foster mattress. It took two weeks for delivery which sucks but its fine moving on, we get the furniture not even two months old and our bed collapses on one side. we were reassured and promised how sturdy these beds were because that was our selling point that we had to have a bed that was sturdy and would last. Our bed collapsed on one side one night while asleep. scared us, so we moved our mattress to the floor. where it has been for two weeks sleeping on the floor. I called the morning after it broke and was assured the part was on my way to my house and would arrive 7-10 buisness days at that point we would have a repair man come out to fix the bed. well 10 days past and no bed parts have showed i called again to see if there was some way to track it and was told by a woman that someone would reach out to me.. i waited.....and nothing... then i called back this morning and the lady would not let me speak to someone above her and kept pretending the connection was bad where it was not i had witnesses, she was rude and informed me it could be 3 weeks before the part was even shipped then an additional 7-10 days after that!! Seriously 2 months of sleeping on the floor??? After purchasing 5 thousand dollars worth of furniture. I just bought a home and planned to come get a sectional and entertainment center from you in the next few months but most certainly will not if this is how you handle business. My husband had rods in his foot and leg which make it extremely difficult to get on the floor to sleep every night and morning after working 14 hour shifts. I am very unhappy and disturbed that this is the kind of service i get. I tried ashley furniture even after reading some bad reviews and here i am, what a slap in the face. Not to mention i also purchased the extended warranty.I understand accidents happen but our bed should have lasted more than two months, you would think they would try to fix it in a timely manner and politely so that we purchased more and send other people to them. read more

I went in the store and ordered new bedroom furniture on 04/30/2018 costing over $1100. They couldn't deliver till 05/09. The mirror was broken in transit and when they brought the dresser in it had a chunk out of the corner, when I pointed it out to the delivery man he looked at his tablet and said it had been previously been repaired!!!WHAT!!!?? i DID NOT ORDER USED REPAIRED FURNITURE!!! Now they are telling me they can't deliver the new mirror and dresser until the 23rd of May!!! And when I asked why she got smart with me telling me this day and that day were booked and that was the first available day!!!! Worst purchasing experience and customer service EVER!!!! Originally purchased a 3 piece living room suit and tables in July of 2017. After several failed delivery attempts we finally received our first delivery. Multiple pieces were damaged but we accepted them because we already removed our old furniture to make room for new. Ashley's agreed to replace the damaged items. Couch and Table. To make a long story short, they deliver 2 more coffee tables before we received a table with no damage. They delivered a total of 4 couches and all were damaged. After they delivered the 3rd couch ( damaged ) we were told that the product line had been discontinued and there were only 2 couches left. 1 located in a warehouse in Kansas and 1 locally. The local unit was damaged and it would take 2 weeks to get the one from Kansas. Well somehow it arrived in 2 days and they wanted to deliver It right away. Well, surprise, it was damaged as well. It was so bad the delivery driver wouldn't even take it off the truck. We were now forced to select new furniture since the product we selected was now discontinued. This was conveyed to us through the dispatcher. No explanation on how to go about this. I assumed that the customer service agent ( Shannon Harris ) that we had been dealing with would call and explain the next step. She did, about 4 day later, and said we had 2 weeks from the last delivery date to reselect. Which gave us just over a week left. We rushed out and selected a new set of furniture. The new selection had fewer options than what we wanted but that was the closest thing they had. We were never offered a refund. Kind of felt pressured into taking something, even though it was no fault of our own that we were in this position. New selection finally arrived and guess what - All 3 pieces damaged. After removing the old furniture and bringing the new pieces inside we were able to notice damage to all 3 pieces. ( Scuffs and tears )They wanted to drag the old furniture back in the house we would have to refuse this delivery. I explained to the dispatch that was fine but she had to tell the delivery crew what she wanted them to do. It was already 7pm at this point. They agreed to leave the new pieces and have customer service contact me. We had already spoken to them several times before. When contacted by customer service again, I explained I wanted a refund and that was the only acceptable resolution. I was told there was no way to refund our money because we accepted the furniture and signed a contract. I asked for a copy of my signed contract and was never provided with it. After filing a complaint with Chase credit services and the Indiana Attorney General's office we Finally had our furniture picked up today. After 8 months of fighting with them, we are receiving a refund. STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. Even the delivery drivers hate delivering the junk they sell and say they deal with it every day. If this happens to you FIGHT them any way you can. They know it's too expensive to get a lawyer ( $10 k + ) so they will drag it out forever. The funny part is, when Shannon called and agreed to refund our purchase price, she made it sound like they came to this conclusion out of the goodness of their heart. To the contrary, they had no intentions of refunding anything until the Attorney General's office contacted them. I asked where a particular brand of furniture was and the salesman took me right to it. He answered all of my questions and was very helpful. If only I could give them ZERO stars!! I made a purchase on the evening of September 4th 2015. The transaction included 4 dinning room chairs, a dinning room table, a bench to match the table and 2 hanging lights. Total was approximately $3000. I was originally told that the bench wouldn't be available until November 6th. A bit long, but since everything else would be delivered on October 17th, I could manage without the bench until a month later. I was assured that everything else would definitely be to my house on October 17th, that there were 3 tables coming on October 15th and as long as we finished up things that evening before anyone else made purchases that there would be no issues. October 14th arrives and I receive a call confirming my delivery appointment for the 17th. However I was informed that the table was on back order until November 19th! I went into the store on October 15th. I spoke with the manager (Chad) regarding the situation and that I would take the floor model since I was specifically told that my table would not be on back order. Chad told me that he would email someone and told me that he would call me before 5pm to let me know. At this point the table had a sign on it saying that it was due to come in Early November and was dated October 1st (another misrepresentation). 5pm comes and goes, and Chad did not call. Luckily he was still at the store when I called him. He told me that he wasn't able to give me the floor model, because then they wouldn't have a representation of the table in the store. He claimed that he was "working on getting me one sooner" and would call me by 5pm the next day. 5pm October 16th comes and goes, and no call from Chad. I call the store and he's gone and won't be back until Monday. I ask for his supervisor and the lady told me that she didn't know who it was. Later a message was left by Tracy confirming partial delivery for Oct 17th and that Chad is working on getting the table and he will keep in touch with me. October 17th - 1 light and 4 chairs are delivered, but not the second light. It wasn't on their delivery sheet. Contact store, was told that this should've been a carry out item. (It's hanging from their ceiling) I was told on Sept 4th that it would be delivered with the rest of my items (new in box). Lady from store said she would call me back once she finds out what's going on. So I ended up paying more than $500 for a used light fixture. Lady calls me back 10 minutes later, and confirmed that this was to be a carry out item. She informed me that I shouldn't have been told that the table would be delivered that day because "Everything is on backorder" Now I need to come into the store to pick up a light that was to be delivered, but I could't pick it up until Monday when they had someone to take it down. She told me that she would have Chad contact me (he'd get in at 8am) regarding why this wasn't told to me in September and why I've had to wait a month and a half to find this out, in addition to what's going on with the table that she still shows arriving Nov 19th now, not sooner like Chad claimed to be working on. October 19th 12:30 I called Chad, since I haven't heard anything confirming light pick up or an update regarding the table. He claimed that a Tracy was working on this and supposed to follow up. Message left by Tracy was just that Chad was working on getting the table sooner and that they had a partial delivery for Oct 17. Chad seemed to know nothing about the light that was due to me, and needed to be taken down. He also told me today that DC handles getting the table issue taken care of that there was nothing he could do, contrary to what I was told Thursday! Left on hold for approx 20 minutes. Chad will call me once light has been taken down and when he hears back from Tracy regarding the table today. Light guaranteed not to be broken/damaged and wrapped and boxed when given to me. Tracy called me back, gave me a date of November 12th for the table. I told her it was unacceptable, and requested the show room model again. She's contacting the store and merchandising trying to get this approved. Said that delivery fee would be refunded. Stated she would call me back today with an update. As of 6:30pm today neither Tracy nor Chad has called me back to let me know about resolution for the table and picking up the light. I contacted the store, and the associate manager had no notes from Chad, nor did anyone know anything about a light needing to be taken down for pick up today! Nothing but lies coming from the store manager. From what I've read since dealing with this for 5 days now, this seems to be a common issue with Ashley Furniture. Over sell, over promise without any follow through on the promises. At this point, I am filling a BBB complaint against Ashley Furniture Avon Indiana location. Buyer beware!!! read more

I visited this Ashley HomeStore after shopping at several other furniture stores in the area. I need several things for my new house and simply wanted to look at different room set-ups and not be followed around and bombarded with questions. Kelly started me out by telling me how the store was set-up by style and checked on me a few times as I went through the store. When I had questions, she was very helpful and did finally direct me to a sofa and loveseat combo that met my criteria perfectly! (How did I walk by it and not see it?) She asked me about my living space, colors I liked, etc. VERY HELPFUL! But I am a "thinker" and promised to think about it and come back. I did, but Kelly wasn't there. Instead, Ali helped me - I knew exactly what I wanted and the purchase experience was very easy. She also helped me pick pillows to go with the sofa. She seen the outfit at Ashley earlier that week, but we shopped around to make sure this was what she wanted. She was stuck on the outfit at Ashley's. So we purchased the outfit. It was the best quality and price we had found that day and she loved it. The rep & manager was very informative and very helpful. We were able to set up a delivery date that worked with our schedule. Ashley has a lot to chose from. Horrible customer service!!! We ordered a trundle bed for my son and they said delivery would be 3 weeks (but probably actually more like two weeks). It turned out to be almost 7 weeks! Then, when they came to set the bed up, the 3 drawers below the bed were busted and the guys said that someone would call me back in less than an hour to take care of sending me replacements. I never heard from anyone, so I called back the next day. The phone call took way too long for the lady to figure out what I needed, but eventually she said that they would send me the replacement drawers and that they would arrive in 7 - 10 days. It has been over 2 weeks now, and so I just called back to follow up. The lady called Ashley Direct who informed her that the order had been cancelled because you can't just order replacement drawers. You have to order the whole trundle unit. They just cancelled everything, and no one ever called me or anything!!! Are you kidding me? I guess they were just going to hope that I never called back... So now they are ordering me a whole new trundle when all I need are the three drawers. It sounds ridiculous, but whatever they want to do... And of course I have to wait another 2 weeks for delivery. And when they do show up, I'll just be telling the guys to leave the unneeded trundle unit on the truck, and to just bring me the box containing the three drawers... I even volunteered to drive to the warehouse to pick up the drawers when they came in so maybe I could get them faster and the delivery guys didn't have to waste their time, but no, they wouldn't let me do that either. Oh, and by the way, they were supposed to show up between 9 and noon on the day scheduled for delivery. They hadn't shown up by noon, so I called and was told that they had problems starting the truck that morning. They were running about 2 hours late. It might have been nice for them to call to let people know that... Of course that would be too much to ask. It was a good thing I had nowhere to go that afternoon. She also told me on the phone that they would definitely call me before they got to the house so I decided it might be a good time to take a bath. Of course that was also wrong. I was still in the tub when the truck pulled up to the house and guys started carrying parts of the bed to the front door. This company needs to get their act together. I never thought in my wildest dreams buying furniture from this supposedly reputable place would be so frustrating. After reading these reviews I don't feel as bad as I did thinking I was the only one this was happening to. I ordered appr. 7000$ worth of new furniture in February and as of June 23 I am still waiting for it. I've called, complained to management, complained to my salesman and everything has fallin on deaf ears. I don't think any of the employees there can read because no one can tell me why I'm still waiting for my shit. The delivery people absolutely suck and to boot they stink so bad my house still reeks of them to this day. When I finally thought the rest of my furniture was here, the delivery man informed me my couch was broke and I didn't want it, and who knows because he wouldn't let me see it. I've been givin every excuse in the book why my furniture is being held up. I personally think they they r lying about the furniture being new especially when the delivery man informed me that it wasn't, they just give u a repaired item someone else done sent back, now that's pretty shady. But as with any business we as consumers must suffer so that these under qualified managers can manipulate their paperwork and inventory to make them look good or to make it look like it's someone else's fault. Wow, finally a salesperson who really knows how to work with the client. Scott is tops in the business, knows his product, floor layout, seems every question we ask, Scott was on point. When it came to closing the deal, same result, Scott had it down. I bought a couch here and the process and everything was relatively painless besides the fact that I had to wait for a month before they were able to deliver it. I financed the couch and then I find out almost a month later (before I even have the couch) that they did not only open one credit card through them (synchrony bank) but they opened 2 credit cards (another through TD Bank). I still have not even received my furniture yet and then I find out that I now have 2 new accounts open, the second I did not authorize or was even made AWARE of until it hit my credit report. I have worked in banking for 3+ years so I get that things get messed up but....really? Come on. Ridiculous. My credit score was affected by this because the limit was so high on this 2nd card that I DID NOT ASK FOR. I was told by the man on the phone through TD customer service that both banks must have accepted my application but they did not catch that they opened both. Again, HOW?? read more

In response to the comment by Karey at Ashley, I have talked with the team you mentioned. They were of absolutely NO help and disrespectful. I have called the owners of this store at the corporate office of the Dufresne Spencer Group in MS (662) 869-5136, and have not had the decency of a reply. I have even called the Dufrese group in Canada and left a message. Maybe, someone should try and solve the problem professionally and quickly instead of playing these sorts of damage control games. Until the problem is resolved I will continue to warn as many people as I can about how this store does business and how customers are treated. Great experience! They were helpful, not pushy, and ended up giving me a great deal!

This store needs to be closed. The salesmen absolutely harassed us worse than any car dealer ever has! We were forced into signing paperwork to "lock in a delivery date" which was just a scam to lock us into a cancellation fee if we didn't decide what we wanted within a 48 hour period. It was so bad, we actually left the store and drove to a different Ashley's store. The second store is where we found out about the "cancellation fee" and had to drive back just to cancel EVERYTHING! After 30 minutes, they finally agreed to cancel our "delivery date". We were asked 13 times within 20 minutes how much money we had to put down on a purchase and we hadn't even picked anything out yet! We had to leave the store once again just so we could talk about what we wanted. We came back the next day and spent $5,000 on a couch. We received a new delivery date and went home to remove the old couch and prepare for our new couch. 2 days later we received a call telling us that they had made a mistake and needed us to come back and sign some additional paperwork. This mistake cost us about $200 in lost wages. 3 weeks later, our new couch arrived but it was the wrong color. We were then charged an additional delivery fee $276 because we didn't want the wrong couch. Now the "delivery date" that we were harassed about has been pushed back another 4 weeks on top of the original 3 weeks! We were told that Customer Service would call us to make it right, and they never did. I am a disabled vet and I have to sit on the floor for 7 weeks minimum over this. THE BOTTOM LINE.....do not shop at the Ashley furniture store in Avon Indiana unless you like being harassed and lied to. read more

On 12/15/18 I purchased a sofa table at the Avon location and was scheduled to pick it up on 2/15/19. On February 18, 2019, I called the Plainfield Distribution center for store hours at this time the customer service rep informed me that my table was not in and my table would be available for pick up on 3/18/19, I asked her why no one called me and she said It is not her responsibility to call me. On March 11, 2019, I received a called from a customer service rep stating that my table would not be in on 3/18 and would be available for pick up on 3/28, so on March 13 I went to the Avon store to speak with the store manager, but she had already left for the day and was told by the customer service rep at the desk who was very rude that the manager would give me a call the next day . The next day the manager did call me, but she was unapologetic and offer no other store service, so I asked her would they delivery my table for free, due to my inconvenience and she said did agree and scheduled my delivery date for 3/19 because she said the table would arrive on 3/18. Well, guess what no call from anyone and no delivery. So again I called Plainfield Distribution and spoke with customer service and my fifth new date is now 4/02/19. On March 25 I go back to the Avon store to cancel my order and the customer service rep tells me she can't give me back my cash and Corporate will mail me a check and the manager will call me the next day. The next day manager did call to inform me that It would take up to 4-6 weeks to get my money back, so I asked her why did she think that I would be ok with this and I have been very patient and understanding and Ashley Furniture have been nothing, but unprofessional and rude. So no sofa table and I have to wait another two months to get my money back and the manager had a bad attitude. read more

BUYER BEWARE! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED Read all the reviews. Two years ago I move to Indy. Went to Ashley Furniture to buy a bedroom set and living room set. The mattress was their top of the line foam. The sales man said if I didn't like it bring it back within 30 days and they would replace it. Well in 1 week that was the worst mattress that I have ever slept on. I went to the store the manager told me sorry no returns. I went and got the salesman. The salesman told the manager that he told me to bring it back. The manager said to bad. I through a $2000. mattress away. Now my chair has a broken spring. Keep in mind at the time of purchase I paid $500. The manager told me that the warranty will cover everything. I call the warranty company because Ashley was to lazy to do it. The warranty company tells me they don't cover springs. Ashley Furniture is the worst company to do business with. They also screwed my daughter that is a single parent. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. read more

Horrible experience. After buying the "VIP" protection plan 4 years ago and dealing with shoddy repairs for 5 months, we were given a partial credit. Went to replace our furniture and worked a deal with the manager on an agreed price. I left and as my wife was filling out the paperwork, the manager told her that he not only wouldn't do the deal but we couldn't use the existing sale going on due to the fact that it was from the "VIP" protection, even though he recommended for us get it on the new furniture. It never dawned on me that it was for THEIR protection, not ours. She of course got up and left. read more

we purchased over $10,000 worth of bedding and living room furniture. the bed is a tempur pedic cloud supreme breeze.bought the power bases and the mattress cover so the warranty would apply for additional cost. The mattress we were told would keep cool unlike the other mattresses would only cool for a matter of minutes.That isn't true with in a few minutes we are moving to find a cool spot. also bought the pillows which don't stay cool at all. We called the warranty people and was informed we signed an agreement that we could return the mattress for exchange only of equal or higher value with-in 90 days. I don't have any paper work showing details that include a return pickup and delivery fee also how can you get a higher cost when this is the highest cost. Went back to the store and asked if we got a mattress of lower cost would we be refunded the difference the answer was no.when a mattress is $3800 you would expect it to live up to the advertisement let alone if we went back to the spring type mattress the power bases are not returnable so they would be useless. I walked out of your Avon,In store the day of purchase satisfied. Maybe because i was lied to about delivery date. Turns out it actually doubled since we purchased. Good thing my wife decided to do the job of an Ashley employee and called then we were told about this date. Communication is key in life if your manager would of told us this there would be no problem. Asked for a full refund manager said that comes from corporate, corporate telling me that decision comes from store of purchase. Either I'm being lied to or your manager is untrained and incapable of different situations. My level of unsatisfactory is about as high as could be. No answers, no product, lied to, laughed at. My worst shopping experience ever. I probably just wasted my time with comments, i doubt anyone will call me. Ashley furniture i did my job and paid in full almost $2700.00 before i walked out this store. Not sure whats going on here but have you looked at these ratings?
