This HomeGoods feels small. It feels quite a bit smaller than Castleton, though it's interior design is quite similar. I must admit that I have mixed feeling about HomeGoods. There's no denying the good prices on home decor and necessities, however, the shopping experience is almost universally a mid-range experience for me. I sure don't consider it wheelchair friendly, though it meets ADA (which is a bare minimum standard). There's accessible parking out front. The doors are automatic and easily workable. That's really where accessibility ends. The carts are outside the store, a bit of a hassle. The store has fairly narrow aisles and is incredibly cluttered. While I realize not every store is made for a relaxed shopping experience, I've always felt like I spend more in the places where I feel comfortable. I don't feel comfortable here and had at least five aisles I couldn't access in my wheelchair either because of other people, employees, or items blocking the path. I found the selection here paltry at best. Every item I looked at, I ended up finding a handful of options. I found nothing I wanted and was incredibly disappointed with the selection - yes, the prices were good on those items. The service lines are always long here and employees pace themselves as if they're still learning how to do the job. The employees are more functional than friendly. There's literally nothing that makes me want to return. That said, I can't say it was awful. It wasn't. It was just average. The prices are good. The layout is easy to understand. It works. I just think it could be so much better. I left quickly. I left without purchasing. I can't fathom a reason to return.

Unfortunately, my husband can't handle the candle aromas and doesn't come in, which I don't think he mines. They have currently completed stocking the store with many Christmas items. Pillows, candles, blankets, a beautiful selection of greenery, prints of various sizes, and many other cute home decor items. A limited amount of furniture is in the store, such as side chairs, benches, and decorative side tables. Mirrors and a large selection of lamps are available. I've attached several pictures to this review. The staff was friendly, with great personalities and all were very pleasant. At check-out, she reminded me when the sales start and end, plus online shipping is available. A large selection of items are available online that you'll never see in the store. Very relaxing and fun shopping experience today with friendly employees. I'm almost in the Christmas spirit; I'm just loving my fall decor right now.

They have some nice stuff here, including a lot more furniture than I expected. They have more room upstairs for browsing too. But the barn seems small compared to the antique mall next door, so unless there is something here that screams "Buy me!", it's kind of hard to rate it higher. Be aware that this is an old barn and has a raised center aisle to walk on. That means low head clearance for air ducts, so watch out. Also, if you are rubber-necking and not looking down, the step down into the rooms/booths on the first floor is large (maybe a 10" drop!) and it would be easy to stumble if you aren't paying attention. Fortunately, the owner did mark the steps in yellow and write "Step" on the ground, but who looks down when you are surrounded by stuff at eye level? I guess I should have. On the positive side, there were some beautiful furniture pieces and a really cool store counter that had shelves that extend all the way through the counter, having a display window on the outside of the piece. Ahhhh...finally some "me" time and I found my happy place at Roots to Wings. The locally-owned…read moreshop, an old barn, is filled with a mix of antiques, artisan objects and decorator items. The clerks welcomed me when I entered and asked if they could help me. They told me about sales in many booths. Most booths were had clearance prices with prices up to 50% off. A friendly old shaggy dog makes its way past customers. The shop is filled with soaps, candles, jewelry and primitive antiques. I searched through every nook and cranny. Each room is creatively decorated. I found a Christmas ornament that I couldn't live without. Actually, I found several, but settled on one. The shop was filled with laughter, as clerks removed ornaments from trees. This made me happy. There is a restroom filled with whimsical antiques. The shop is a little difficult to see from the road, but they had banners out to pull people in. Parking is somewhat limited, but I didn't have trouble finding a spot. Well worth a visit.

I always tell people if you need a black or black and white outfit shop here first. The shop is loaded with gorgeous black and white clothing, many handbags, hats, accessories, racing decor and a limited amount of home decor. Sizes range from X-Small to 3X and there is a dressing room for trying on clothing. Several drivers have shopped here and signed the drivers/celebrities wall. She has several racing items in the front half of the store. Check it out if you're a collector. You never know what you'll find. We've been lucky and found several cool collectibles here. Stop in to browse and feel free to have a seat and visit for a few minutes. She's closed Sunday through Tuesday and open Wednesday through Saturday.

I stopped by Foundry 317 during a recent jaunt through Broad Ripple during unseasonably warm temps…read more I parked my car and just enjoyed wheeling around the area for a bit. Foundry 317 is along the canal right on Westfield Boulevard. Foundry 317 focuses on home decor and furniture. I clearly arrived right at the tail-end of the holiday season and a good number of the items either had a holiday theme or fit within the holiday season. Items included antiques, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, festive accents, candles, and other overall housing items. Foundry 317 has a parking lot, though I was actually wheeling there. There's a small ramp up to the sidewalk if you approach it from the right (facing Foundry 317). The doorway is pretty workable and I found the interior to be surprisingly accessible (though I will admit I was taking extra caution given some of the prices!). As I was wheeling, I knew it was pretty unlikely I'd actually buy anything on this visit as it would have been difficult to carry back to my car. However, I definitely saw some items I loved and can easily see myself returning in the near future. The employee I encountered was friendly, the environment was warm and inviting, and I really loved some of the smaller items. I'm a candle freak and definitely would like to return for those. I've always found this section of Westfield Blvd. a little hit-and-miss. The sidewalk is kind of cracked and it's somewhat uneven, however, there's much to love here and I loved the efforts toward accessibility. This is definitely a little gem. I'd seen it before, however, I've never been by when they were open. I finally got the chance to visit, and I'm definitely impressed. I'll be back.

You'll find vendors booths with beautiful florals, many antiques, collectibles, quilts, area rugs, glassware, wreaths, outdoor decor, furniture and home decor. Most booths have many different items and collectibles. You just never know what you'll find while browsing here. The isleways are large enough to get through and the booths are clean and well organized. Most items are clearly priced and priced well. I have purchased so many good quality items from Room Swap (including the Avon Store) and most at a great price. If you're in the area be sure to stop and browse. The selection changes daily so it's fun to see new items often.

They were some vendors who had booths as well. Probably would take a good hour or so to view the whole store. I sell mostly antiques at a local mall and was able to find some reasonably priced items to resale . Recently l dropped off at antique settee to sell so we'll see how that goes for me. A must see store as new stuff is constantly being added.
