    The couch that was magically and mysteriously priced $4,000 in store.

    Don't shop here! Trust me, long winded but worth the read! Went in here looking for a new couch with my wife and 2 kids. Was met by a nice salesman named Todd. We walked around looked at the options obviously some pricey but affordable. We finally came across this modular power reclining sectional. No signs or anything near this couch. While we were sitting on it Todd comes up and mentioned he believes that couch is on clearance for 50% off but he was unsure if it was being held for someone else. We were elated by that news with high expectations of a good find for a cheap price cause we were ready to pay cash price for it (which was mentioned a few times). Todd comes back a few times trying to figure out what the model of the couch was and trying to track down the price. Finally after about 15-20 minutes of him coming back and forth he says good news it available, starts talking about all their finance options. I told him not interested in financing I'll pay cash if the price is right. Finally after a price breakdown we're told the out the door price was about 2200. At 50% off?! Obviously baffling as there's not a single couch in that whole store that's priced at $4,000+. But since it was on clearance the 5 year protection plan wasn't included. Even less incentive. When we questioned the price is when the wheels started to fall off. We tried to find it this particular couch on their website but was told by another associate it's discontinued and we won't find it online. We then began to push back a little harder. Todd requested I believe the in store manager an English women referred to as "T". She held true to what Todd said with the price of the couch being $4,000. I found a similar couch on their website for half that price and questioned how the similar one is $2000 dollars less online then this one is right here. I questioned how that's possible on a discontinued couch and she said it's not discontinued. I informed her we were told otherwise by another employee. The backtracking continued. Eventually I told them I'd be willing to pay a certain price but not what they started with. They began to work with us. Until they got their General manager or whoever he was on the phone. The man on the phone went by the name Jason. Todd spoke with Jason on the phone before me and even asked me while on the phone if I'm financing or paying cash. I told him I'm paying cash. After a couple minutes of Todd on the phone with Jason. He brings me the phone and hands it to me. I greet Jason and am told by Jason if he's going to sell me the couch at that price then he needs something in return and told me to put in a credit application for financing the couch. ??? MIND BLOWN!!! I told them multiple times I'm paying cash. I told Jason why would I take a hit in my credit for something I'm intending to pay cash for?! (They get money for credit apps submitted whether approved or denied) After some continued back and forth, Jason said he would try to figure something out and call back. While waiting and having small talk with Todd, I continued to talk about how there's no way the couch is that price, he informed me he doesn't even know how much the couch costs.... WHAT?! Y'all have been sitting here telling me it's 4 grand! He said they couldn't find it on their website. Conveniently this couch had no info around it. No price tag, no model info, nothing. After that I said you know what thank you for your time but there's no deal that's gunna wrk out here and after an hour and a half of back and forth packed up my wife and kids and left. On my way out I thanked Todd again for his time. Now at the front of the store we walked past "T", he informed her I was leaving to which she rolled her eyes and didn't respond (very professional). Also, later found the couch on their website. It's $2,999 new with the 5 year protection plan, which we were told isn't available for this particular couch. Screenshot attached. Don't go to this place. Their prices are made up. At least if you're going to try to hustle your customers you should all be on the same page. If you're thinking about going in here, do yourself a favor and shop online.

    Zero stars! This store is super shady. They lie to get your business. Was told I would get a credit (shirt floor manager with scar on his face, Jason I think) for delivery and it never happened. Been texting with Kay (sales rep) for over 3 months. Said a ticket was filed at corp but I called corporate and they said nothing was on my account regarding a credit. Uploading texts to show conversation. Called store and was placed on hold multiple times with no response. Sad they would risk their reputation over a delivery fee. Stay away from this store and Ashley in general.

    Don't order furniture from this company. We have waited weeks for our couch to come in. We got confirmation text yesterday that our couch would be delivered today between 11am-2:40pm. We did all prep that was recommended, including getting rid of our old couch and taking a day off of work to be present for this delivery. It's nearly 3pm, no sign of the truck. We contacted Ashley and were just advised that the delivery is delayed by 2 weeks! We took a day from work and have no furniture even though we received a text confirmation and separate email from them just last night. The woman on the phone claims that we should've received an email advising of delay this morning. I've checked all email accounts and junk folders and we have not gotten an email. They did not attempt to even call to notify us. I wish I had read previous reviews prior to buying. Ashley obviously has some issues with getting their products to customers in a timely manner. At this point, I believe they may give you a bogus timeframe so that you will purchase the item. If I had been told up front that the couch would take this long (or even longer, as the man who posted previously has mentioned) ..I would not have given them my money. Go to another furniture store who will value your time and make an effort to at least contact you or make things right.

Truthfully, it had been a hard year and we wanted to do something that would feel cheerful. We parked and as we were walking in someone collecting carts curtly said "we're closed". I said "oh, it says you close in 15 minutes" which she replied "yeah well, they're not going to sell you anything." Cool. We brushed it off and walked in and two employees looked at us and one said "we're closed now, not enough time to shop." So we said "we were just going to look at the Christmas trees for 5 minutes" and the woman shook her head clearly frustrated. We walked over to the Christmas tree aisle and stood in silence for a beat. My husband turned and said "this doesn't feel joyful anymore". We could have used any of the following: kindness, holiday spirit, or anyone to simply stfu and keep their misery to themselves. Instead we were called out to rudely by two separate employees. You can keep your overpriced home goods and we'll happily find somewhere else to shop.

The location is rather random near the large Strait Music sign/store you see as you are getting off the highway. The woman who helped me was named Yvonne (or Yvette - sorry ) and she was awesome. There is nothing that peeves my soul more than the second I step into a store, a store rep is following a few steps behind me, asking me several questions. I'm the kind of person who needs to see what all the store has to offer, if any of it interests me, I then visualize it in the space I'm considering, etc. Constantly having someone behind me or waiting on me, puts this anxiety inducing pressure on me that my body seems to be allergic to lmao I will literally stop what I'm doing and end up leaving a store when I get to this overwhelmed point. I'm so very glad this did not happen here. I was greeted, said I was just perusing, and would let them know if I had any questions. I was shocked that the employees working that day respected this and actually let me walk around in peace. Even if I was taking a couple pictures and probably looking confused as I stood there visualizing where I might use this or that, etc. I ended up buying a couple of these very cute small outdoor plastic cups for a BBQ I was going to later that day and this awesome light-up outdoor Bluetooth speaker lantern. The only thing I would say is the outdoor lantern that I purchased would have sounded a lot better had I purchased two of them. They are truly intended for outdoor hanging around a larger space I would say as you can pair multiple speakers together. I went towards the end of the Summer so they were having some pretty decent sales going on with items discounted 30 - 70% off as Halloween and holiday decor was about to make its way in. Definitely recommend at least stopping past and looking at all they have to offer!

I don't remember the salesman's name, but he was so helpful. We measured, we looked at the various woods, I knew the finish I wanted and the hardware. I did not feel rushed, so I was able to take my time to make the right decisions. I will admit the wait time was hard, I wanted it now. But the wait was so very worth it! The desk is so beautiful, and I am very proud of it and how it makes my home office look. Sitting at my new desk, with things put away, within reach, I feel so much more productive. One nightstand had to be ordered and it matched perfectly. I also ordered four countertop chairs. They were the exact wood and color I chose and the contour seats and back are beautifully made. I looked elsewhere for comparable chairs/stools and felt these were a bargain compared to what I saw. This store is family run and Roy and his son were a pleasure to work with. It did take around three months to get the items I ordered but build time fell with the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays as well as bad weather in the Midwest. Very happy with my purchase.
