She gave me a receipt of one thing but when statements came in it was more than what was on my receipt. You can tell she didn't care. She just wanted the sale. After she had all our info during the process of purchasing, she went to talk to a coworker as we were watching her... Just standing there... laughing away.. she's pushy. Even when I said no she keeps trying. Personally, Go to another rep. After the transaction I had to go find her because she messed up on delivery date. They have good, quality furnature, we were very happy here. We spent tons of money on furnature for our new home at this place and were very happy. My tip is to plan in advance how you're going to negotiate. You can't really negotiate prices, but you can negotiate throwing in pillows, delivery fee waiving, etc. My other tip is to go around a holiday when they have sales, and to double check pricing online. They list pricing discounts off the baseline price, not based on the price from a couple weeks ago. Never pay full price for anything at places like this. read more

Spent $2000 on a sectional that had a broken recliner with springs protruding against the fabric. Called my salesman & told him I was bringing it back. He said I couldn't & they would send a "technician" to evaluate it. I said I wanted it replaced because it's brand new but they wouldn't budge. Here's an update on my review for this sadly overrated furniture store, they delivered my daughters bed finally she paid for them to haul away her old bed, and they said they can't take it because it's not wrapped in plastic who wraps their old bed in plastic and why didn't they tell her when we bought the beds that you need to wrap your old bed in plastic in order for us to take it away so now they keep the money for the haul away but they never took her bed so it's our problem now it's just looking like no stars for these people and they we're rude and asked if they have to put together the frame excuse me. The staff were wonderful and did an excellent job in helping me find exactly what I was looking for without being pushy or hurried along (I understand the sales persons make commissions so it's understandable but not comfortable). My biggest gripe was with the delivery team and the lack of professionalism when it came to delivery time. I had an estimated time of 1300-1730 for my delivery. Around approx. 1530 I did receive a call from the furniture team stating the delivery time would be between 1730-1830. The delivery did not arrive until 1955 and I did not receive a second phone call notifying me of the change in time. The delivery team was pretty rough with putting together my sectional (the corner pieces which lift the sectional). I set aside the time to wait for these people and then they were darn near two hours late from the new delivery time. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable wasting customers time this way. Other than this, most of my experience was pleasant. If you can move the furniture yourself, please do and save yourself the time and headache. read more

To purchase was GREAT, they were helpful & provided all the information I needed even for pick-up. Why I gave 3 stars is when I did my pick up. I called a day before to set up an appointment. Gentlemen I spoke to mention I needed to give 24 hour to set up my appointment. Keep in mind I called at 12pm & set up my schedule pick up the following day at 5:30. I get there 15 minutes early to give them plenty of time to pull out my Sofa Sleeper, yes I did check - in gentlemen that check me in was very quite & didn't even say much to me. I waited till 5:55 & ask what was taking long! Gentlemen that help me in a yellow vest stated I was a walk-in & my wait time take more the 45 minutes. I informed him I had scheduled an appointment & showed him the call time from my phone. Thankful he made sure to get my order in 5 minutes. They have a nice showroom with a variety of styles and setups to give you great ideas. Go there to see, feel, test out the items you want. Take a picture of it. Then go somewhere else to buy it. 3 stars for the helpful and friendly sales people, the great delivery and setup guys. And also the furniture. When nothing is wrong with it, you have some nice pieces that last 2-5 years. Similar quality to Living Spaces and Target furniture. NEVER GET THE PROTECTION PLANS (the insurance company and Ashley's point fingers at each other for months arguing about who has to pay) Customer Service and Support is horrible. Although, I think its by design. Plenty of scummy companies make their customer service reps do everything they can to wear down the customer until they give up. Ashley's Furniture/Store Owner is one of them. You can send an email (my preferred communication) but you unfortunately have to call in as well. You spend hours on hold, get re-routed to departments until you get someone who can help, and when you file your claim, you have to wait a month for technician to come in and look at it. The technician takes 5 minutes to look and says we have to call again for a replacement. So you go through the whole process again to be told another technician will have to take a look. I bought items in the past. The items were simple, easy to put together with no problems. Maybe a scuff or two, but no big deal. I enjoyed my pieces. I bought items in March 2020 that had visible cosmetic and stability issues that I couldn't ignore. And I had purchased a protection plan (because these were expensive items). 5 months later, it's almost August 2020. After 3 hours on the line, and another hour going between the insurance/protection plan people and Ashley reps, Ashleys is sending a 3rd technician to look at it to determine if they can fix the issue or issue a refund. AGAIN. This will be the last purchase I make at this store. read more

Drive past this store as soon as you see it. Chaos inside the store with salespeople hovering over you just like urinal flies, until you actually need assistance in purchasing. Out first sales person, Pasty, was quick to introduce herself and after a brief encounter, she was off to get other people to remember her name. We were at the store in Colton during President's day sale, Our first Mistake. We made our selection of furniture, $2700 worth of items, and then no sales person available. Raquel Corona was quick to make the sale, it appears now that Commission is involved. The experience with her was just like a used car sales lot. She promised the world. She was not forthcoming with the truth. She said all of our items were available with No Backorder. She did not tell the truth. Today our furniture was supposed to delivered. We received a Partial order. The main piece of furniture, the Sofa was on backorder. We took a Day off for the delivery and waited an additional 2 hours out of the time frame that was assured to us. Hands down the best experience I have had at a furniture store. I made an appt online. When I showed up I was paired with a sales lady and Amanda. She was super helpful. She took me directly to what I was shopping for. She never pressured me to buy anything. She ended up with a nice sale, but was patient and answered all of my questions ( and I had a million!). This place is huge! It also includes a Cafe. I was able to order a delicious and fresh salad. I got to enjoy it while purchase was rang up. Initially, my experience was awesome at the store when I was purchasing my bed. Then when it came to the delivery of my bed, it became a nightmare. The team that delivered my bed was quick to set it up and walk out the door as my family and myself waited in the living room after I went to look at the bed I find that there was a huge slice in the mattress which the team could have told me that so I could've rejected the bed and sent it back with them but instead, I called them when they weren't even down my driveway yet and all they said is customer service would give me a phone call. I didn't wait for customer service to call me. I called them and filed a claim which I was told I would have to wait three business days for them to see if I could get a new bed. No one called me. I had to call them back after five days, which they then told me did I reach out to the store to get a confirmation of the exchange? I can't believe that I was told I had to do the work myself instead of customer service taking ownership after I was able to get an exchange and a new mattress the second team that delivered my merchandise had me inspect the mattress which it was fine. When my husband came home to inspect it he noticed it had a bar sticking out of the bottom. We looked under the bed to see all the frame was dismantled and falling apart. Due to the horrible experience I was put through with two deliveries I asked for a refund of my delivery which was $300 I was only given half back. Definitely negative stars for this Colton Ashley's Furniture Team!!!!!! I cannot stress how bad the customer service was given starting from the sales team to the dispatch team to the customer service supervisor. Worst experience yet. I will never make a furniture purchase here again! I paid cash up front for a set of couches with delivery fees on January 17th. Delivery was scheduled for January 27th. Same day of delivery they called me to reschedule because the loading team damaged the furniture. Delivery was rescheduled to January 30th. Delivery team was at a totally different address on the 30th & refused to deliver to correct address even with proof of identification. Now, it took 5 30-45 min phone calls to correct address because supposedly that would get my delivery going . I called back to schedule ASAP delivery & they want me to wait another week. At the time of purchase before paying for everything I made sure to provide all my proper information to avoid any issues so that this transaction can go as smoothly as possible for the delivery date promised. (Mind you, furniture shopping is always 1k plus) Sales rep must of been in a rush to take my cash & not been careful to take Info properly. Second they damaged my furniture & have me wait longer. Now all this just sounds like they're closing sales & providing false delivery dates & rescheduling with any excuse to just to lock in the sales. I should have made my purchase at Mathews Brothers, they were 100% honest about their delivery wait times. I have family out the country sitting at a dinner table through out the day because of the Ashley's Furniture excuses. So embarrassing. I recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

The technician came over and said it wasn't fixable that it needed to be replaced.
