My order was wrong not ONCE, but TWICE. Dispatch was on it ..the actual store and the people that work there are dense. The first order I received the whole bed was wrong. It was "corrected". I received my delivery, and you would think everything was there...hahahaha. nope. I was supposed to receive 2 side storage drawers...they sent one....also slots to hold the mattress that get placed on top didn't even come.. So now I have been on hold with this ridiculous store for 20 minutes. Because a manager needs to be involved. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. I MEAN COME ON. read more

Here's an update on my review for this sadly overrated furniture store, they delivered my daughters bed finally she paid for them to haul away her old bed, and they said they can't take it because it's not wrapped in plastic who wraps their old bed in plastic and why didn't they tell her when we bought the beds that you need to wrap your old bed in plastic in order for us to take it away so now they keep the money for the haul away but they never took her bed so it's our problem now it's just looking like no stars for these people and they we're rude and asked if they have to put together the frame excuse me. Yes, you're getting paid for that too? never again at that place!!! read more

Initially, my experience was awesome at the store when I was purchasing my bed. Then when it came to the delivery of my bed, it became a nightmare. The team that delivered my bed was quick to set it up and walk out the door as my family and myself waited in the living room after I went to look at the bed I find that there was a huge slice in the mattress which the team could have told me that so I could've rejected the bed and sent it back with them but instead, I called them when they weren't even down my driveway yet and all they said is customer service would give me a phone call. I didn't wait for customer service to call me. I called them and filed a claim which I was told I would have to wait three business days for them to see if I could get a new bed. No one called me. I had to call them back after five days, which they then told me did I reach out to the store to get a confirmation of the exchange? I can't believe that I was told I had to do the work myself instead of customer service taking ownership after I was able to get an exchange and a new mattress the second team that delivered my merchandise had me inspect the mattress which it was fine. When my husband came home to inspect it he noticed it had a bar sticking out of the bottom. We looked under the bed to see all the frame was dismantled and falling apart. Due to the horrible experience I was put through with two deliveries I asked for a refund of my delivery which was $300 I was only given half back. I will never do business with Ashley's again nor will anyone from my family. Total purchase was $2500. read more

I wish I could put zero stars. The furniture itself is fine. It's the customer see has that fails in all levels. Sales rep YAJAIRAIRA CANTILLANO was horrible. She gave me a receipt of one thing but when statements came in it was more than what was on my receipt. You can tell she didn't care. She just wanted the sale. After she had all our info during the process of purchasing, she went to talk to a coworker as we were watching her... Just standing there... laughing away.. she's pushy. Even when I said no she keeps trying. Personally, Go to another rep. After the transaction I had to go find her because she messed up on delivery date. We ordered bedroom furniture and then living room Furniture. She did that in 2 transactions. Why? Does that give you more commission? It was a horrible experience with her. read more

I ordered a reclining chair from Ashley It was too small wanted to return it to get a bigger one took it to FedEx to return it. They said I had to return it to the warehouse in Texas. The price was $477 for the return who in the right mind will spend that much money to return a chair that cost $600 you thought it would be free return but I guess not I will never buy anything from Ashley again. read more

They have good, quality furnature, we were very happy here. We spent tons of money on furnature for our new home at this place and were very happy. My tip is to plan in advance how you're going to negotiate. You can't really negotiate prices, but you can negotiate throwing in pillows, delivery fee waiving, etc. My other tip is to go around a holiday when they have sales, and to double check pricing online. They list pricing discounts off the baseline price, not based on the price from a couple weeks ago. Never pay full price for anything at places like this. read more

Do not, I repeat DO NOT buy from this store! Sales person was a man name ALI.. he sold me a $525.00 swivel glider chair that i was not happy with because it DID not fit through my door. And when I tried to return it, NO ONE and I mean NO ONE was able to help me. Keep in mind each store is individually OWN and the managers have the option to return or not. And after going back and forth with them on the phone and in person... I was NOT able to return the item. I even asked if I can return it for another item that fit.. and again everyone gave me the run around!! Also, ONLINE it says I can return!!! I'm gonna report this to the BBB because they are not following there guidelines!! So DO NOT buy from this store!! You will end up regretting it!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!We'll..upon reading the NUMEROUS complaints on YELP regarding Ashley Furniture in Colton, I don't know what else is left to say. Spent $2000 on a sectional that had a broken recliner with springs protruding against the fabric. Called my salesman & told him I was bringing it back. He said I couldn't & they would send a "technician" to evaluate it. I said I wanted it replaced because it's brand new but they wouldn't budge. It will be 3-4 weeks from my purchase date before this simple exchange will be done. When I told their customer service representative what do I tell my guests visiting from out of town this weekend & he said to just "tell them it's broken and not to sit on it. The staff were wonderful and did an excellent job in helping me find exactly what I was looking for without being pushy or hurried along (I understand the sales persons make commissions so it's understandable but not comfortable). My biggest gripe was with the delivery team and the lack of professionalism when it came to delivery time. I had an estimated time of 1300-1730 for my delivery. Around approx. 1530 I did receive a call from the furniture team stating the delivery time would be between 1730-1830. The delivery did not arrive until 1955 and I did not receive a second phone call notifying me of the change in time. The delivery team was pretty rough with putting together my sectional (the corner pieces which lift the sectional). I set aside the time to wait for these people and then they were darn near two hours late from the new delivery time. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable wasting customers time this way. Other than this, most of my experience was pleasant. If you can move the furniture yourself, please do and save yourself the time and headache. read more

After our original nightmare dealing with Ashley Furniture in Colton last year regarding not being able to replace a mattress and losing $3,000, we noticed a small rip down and between two cushions on the coach that we had purchased. Tech came out and said cushion couldn't be repaired and he would order new cushion. Two weeks later phone call that cushion was not available and entire couch needed to be replaced. Another two weeks and phone call saying couch no longer available and I needed to come to store and select another couch in same price range. When I questioned what about the matching love seat, I was told that I would have two mismatched pieces of furniture because they would not replace the loveseat. Ashley then offered me a $1,500 store credit to resolve the issue in their minds. In June 2024, we gave up and went to the Colton store and used up $1,500 store credit to purchase things I did not need or want. After delivery of these three items, I had couch repaired on my own. read more

To purchase was GREAT, they were helpful & provided all the information I needed even for pick-up. Why I gave 3 stars is when I did my pick up. I called a day before to set up an appointment. Gentlemen I spoke to mention I needed to give 24 hour to set up my appointment. Keep in mind I called at 12pm & set up my schedule pick up the following day at 5:30. I get there 15 minutes early to give them plenty of time to pull out my Sofa Sleeper, yes I did check - in gentlemen that check me in was very quite & didn't even say much to me. I waited till 5:55 & ask what was taking long! Gentlemen that help me in a yellow vest stated I was a walk-in & my wait time take more the 45 minutes. I informed him I had scheduled an appointment & showed him the call time from my phone. Thankful he made sure to get my order in 5 minutes. They have a nice showroom with a variety of styles and setups to give you great ideas. Go there to see, feel, test out the items you want. Take a picture of it. Then go somewhere else to buy it. 3 stars for the helpful and friendly sales people, the great delivery and setup guys. And also the furniture. When nothing is wrong with it, you have some nice pieces that last 2-5 years. Similar quality to Living Spaces and Target furniture. NEVER GET THE PROTECTION PLANS (the insurance company and Ashley's point fingers at each other for months arguing about who has to pay) Customer Service and Support is horrible. Although, I think its by design. Plenty of scummy companies make their customer service reps do everything they can to wear down the customer until they give up. Ashley's Furniture/Store Owner is one of them. You can send an email (my preferred communication) but you unfortunately have to call in as well. You spend hours on hold, get re-routed to departments until you get someone who can help, and when you file your claim, you have to wait a month for technician to come in and look at it. The technician takes 5 minutes to look and says we have to call again for a replacement. So you go through the whole process again to be told another technician will have to take a look. I bought items in the past. The items were simple, easy to put together with no problems. Maybe a scuff or two, but no big deal. I enjoyed my pieces. I bought items in March 2020 that had visible cosmetic and stability issues that I couldn't ignore. And I had purchased a protection plan (because these were expensive items). 5 months later, it's almost August 2020. After 3 hours on the line, and another hour going between the insurance/protection plan people and Ashley reps, Ashleys is sending a 3rd technician to look at it to determine if they can fix the issue or issue a refund. AGAIN. This will be the last purchase I make at this store. read more

I will never buy anything from Ashley again. They don't honor their warranty. I bought a sofa and love seat recliner from them, and in less than one year, the recliner in the love seed started to separate from the island. They gave me to run around four months. One of their technician came over and found the problem. They even mail me the part and said a technician would come over and fix it. The technician came over and said it wasn't fixable that it needed to be replaced. After dealing with their customer service for 2 more weeks, they told me that they were not going to fix or replace it because the damage was my fault, which it wasn't. read more

Found a decent set and noticed when I got home to show the kids that the price was way higher in store than online. $4000 something in store and 3200 online. Went today to inquire and the manager was an A-hole. Disrespectful and misogynistic as he didn't even address me, the payer of the furniture, but went to my husband. He also threw my receipt to the reception after we asked for a refund. We thanked her for her professionalism despite his lack of. Gladly will spend double or triple and wait for pottery barn. Drive past this store as soon as you see it. Chaos inside the store with salespeople hovering over you just like urinal flies, until you actually need assistance in purchasing. Out first sales person, Pasty, was quick to introduce herself and after a brief encounter, she was off to get other people to remember her name. We were at the store in Colton during President's day sale, Our first Mistake. We made our selection of furniture, $2700 worth of items, and then no sales person available. Raquel Corona was quick to make the sale, it appears now that Commission is involved. The experience with her was just like a used car sales lot. She promised the world. She was not forthcoming with the truth. She said all of our items were available with No Backorder. She did not tell the truth. Today our furniture was supposed to delivered. We received a Partial order. The main piece of furniture, the Sofa was on backorder. We took a Day off for the delivery and waited an additional 2 hours out of the time frame that was assured to us. Very frustrating day with lost wages and writing this to inform potential furniture buyers. Go somewhere else than the Colton Store! read more

Hands down the best experience I have had at a furniture store. I made an appt online. When I showed up I was paired with a sales lady and Amanda. She was super helpful. She took me directly to what I was shopping for. She never pressured me to buy anything. She ended up with a nice sale, but was patient and answered all of my questions ( and I had a million!). This place is huge! It also includes a Cafe. I was able to order a delicious and fresh salad. I got to enjoy it while purchase was rang up.
