So after a bad experience with their insurance company few years back I was actually NOT wanting to buy anything else ever again with this company. But because for convenience, my husband decided to give it another try. Which I was reluctantly went. Here it goes, we filled with $8k++ worth of stuffs from this place. Originally I wanted a beauty rest since we have beautyrest for the longest time. The sales rep convince us on the tempurpedic. So we decided to give it a try. We said NO to the mattress protector which was $200. The sales rep mentioned that he sweat when he sleep so that mattress protector is cooling or whatever. We still said NO. Having to purchase lots of items and the back and forth negotiating, made us stayed there for the longest time. Which was okay because there was a small cafe that sells food and drink. We decided on the delivery dates and went to pay. The delivery guys are the outside service. The day of the delivery the guys seemed unhappy and kept on mentioning that Ashley cheated on them, the stuffs that they said were not as much as the actual pieces of furniture that they picked up. They came from 2pm and stayed until 7pm. They finally told us that they can't finish the work on the last piece, they have to come back the next day to do the TV cabinet. So there 2 days of dirts that we have to deals and 2 days that I have to stay home for the furniture people. They insisted that they can't do it in one day, because it was a little too much. I called the store, no one get back to me, no one answered the call. The sales rep called back like, the next day. They left and I saw the invoice of the mattress protector, the one that we firmly said NO at the store. It came on the little box and how annoyingly can't be returned. We tried it for 2 nights and we decided that that material is too distracting and made us slept very uncomfortably. That $200 piece of junk ended up in the storage. Got a much better quality at Costco for $37, and was so comfortable. i kid you not. The next day, they came and continue with the installation. They did it in an hour or so. We tipped them extra because we felt that their fee was cheated by Ashley. Mind you, one of the gentleman is 79 years old. One of our piece is in back order and was delivered by Ashley 2 weeks later. They came in the hurry. After they installed, in our case it was in the 2nd story, the guy told me to sign like a disclosure that no property was damaged upon installation. I did not notice any damages until they left. They made a noticeable scratched by the stairs. A few weeks after, stuffs started to fall apart. Thats like how poorly installed or how cheap their quality is. After the first delivery(with the outside provider) i told them that the table looks like defected on the side. Those people said that nothing they can do, it was on the box and they did not dropped it or mishandled it. What ever they sign out from the warehouse they can't take it back. We opted out on insurance, because really, you are buying an insurance that you know it won't last you that long? Further more, I wouldn't want to use the same piece for 20 years. Their insurance company was a hassle anyway, bad history. So yes, will never use this company again in the future. read more

Ordered a complete master bedroom set, each piece priced individually. The bench for the end of the master bed was delivered broken. They came out and picked it up and said they would credit my credit card. 3 months later, 3 hour long phone calls later and 3 case numbers later I pushed it up to the "Escalation Dept". This dept now tells me I have to contact store manager for approval. WORST customer service I have ever encountered in my entire life. Never again will we shop at Ashley. read more

Ashley Due orientation is joke. Don't waste your money. I purchase a queen size bed online. Had it delivered. The delivery guys offered to assemble the bed for $100. As they took the parts out of the boxes they noticed that a long piece of wool was broken off the side rail. They advised I call customer service and assured the they would replace the broken part. As a called I was given the option the gave Salvation Army come pick up the bed. (After we had to take it Apart.). Once we received the paperwork from Salvation army and submit it then Ashley would send out another bed. There I would have a disassemble the broken bed, and assemble the new bed. I asked what was my option I was told 10% discount only on the part. I paid $1600 and got $35 put Back on my card. Ashley Furniture is a joke. read more

All I can say is never again will NOT purchase anything from Ashley's Over priced you have to assemble your own table or for additional cost they will do it but it's like hurry up and wait. How do they expect you to put together an end table with standard anchors with metric bolts. Technician comes out and is incompetent he says it will be replaced just to find out after calling his report indicated he didn't find any issues with the furniture . Ashley said they would send another technician out but would be two more weeks. I canceled any technician from coming out went to HOME DEPOT bought the correct 5/16 standard screws to correct THERE ISSUES!!!! Never Again!!! read more

Had a good experience with the sales person in store, who said we qualified for premium delivery since it was pretty large order. Two pieces (a headboard and dining table) arrived damaged. The delivery people said they could get a repair person to come fix the items, but our sales person said if items arrive damaged, just have them take things back and reschedule. About a day later, I received this email saying my updated delivery for the items was going to be the following weekend. Fast forward to today and I had no communication other than the email, so I called customer service to see if I could get a delivery window since the email says expect a call/text and I didn't receive one. I just called customer service and now they are saying the redelivery had never been rescheduled even though I had texted my sales person images of the items that were damaged and she said she'd reschedule. Now they are saying the soonest is over two weeks before the remainder of my order will come. Very hesitant to order from them if damaged items and late deliveries are the norm. read more

Poor customer service !! Took me 5 hours between calls and texts. I just purchased furniture for my new apartment, I was not yet moved in... moved in 1 week later set up the furniture and learned that it was hard and uncomfortable and just wanted to trade it for something else. Was told "too bad you have to keep it.." So what I learned is that you just took $2100 from me for something I am not happy with. Oh man, where do I start. Our furniture is weeks late to arrive. We're not sure why but the sales rep put "pick up" which delayed the process because they had to schedule a delivery last minute, then they were out of stock. No manager ever called back to rectify the situation or expedite delivery. E made plans with guest and had to reschedule twice so far. Prices online may not match what's in person so check online first and ask them to honor the online price. Customer service when calling in is horrible. Be careful when you buy from this store. No room for return, even if they Deliver Poor quality I'm very dissatisfied with the quality and color consistency of the stools. The color of the floor sample is completely different from the ones I received. All four stools are not the same. One of the stools the material was dirty. Some are a darker and bulkier than the others. Just not what I expected to be. The sales associate was very helpful, however he was assisting myself and another customers. Never did he mentioned that items could not be returned, which I find that very misleading. I would have though twice on applying for credit and buying as much as I did that day. It was a rushed transaction and all documents were place in an envelope. I drove to the store on May 20, 2021 and the encounter wasn't very pleasant, the Customer Service manager was very unprofessional. Had my XL TV Stand and Dining table delivered today while I was at work . My mother was home to receive them and let me tell you the quality of the TV stand is Horrendous ( see photos ). It has dents all over, misaligned, gaps and separations, the shelves were not installed and to top it off the doors were installed backwards. How? . So I gave the store a call and was told tough luck basically that once it's delivered there's nothing they can do and I'd have to open a case wait for a technician to see if there's anything wrong with it and go from there . I mean come on, just look at the photos which I emailed, you can clearly see this thing looks like something from a yard sale not a new item like the one on display at the store. The stand came built wrapped in movers blankets ( how does anyone let this go out of the warehouse for delivery ). And how do the delivery guys think this was ok to leave? I'm very disappointed and infuriated not only by the product but also by the fact no one can help and I'll have to wait and see what happens . When you're there to purchase the customer service is great and they solicite a 5 star review from you. But after the fact good luck. $200 for Premium delivery and Setup for this is ridiculous. By the way I asked to speak to the store manager and was told no one is around, but when I was there shopping there was at least two of them . Rip off and scammers. If I could go back in time and not buy, I would definitely do that. The floor sales people will sell you snake oil. I made the terrible mistake of trusting Ashley dining tables would be a better quality than Ikea. Mistake 1. I also trusted the floor agents and purchased the extended warranty claim, since in their words it covers just about anything including scratches and wear and tear - Mistake 2. I have had the misfortune of having one of the dining chairs break while withing the 1 year warranty. God forbid, nobody got hurt while it broke. But the ordeal I went through to get this replaced is like none other. Over 25 phone calls, unprofessional customer service, broken phone lines, calls full of static that mysteriously start when you ask for details are characteristic of this store. I normally never write negative reviews. I don't want that bad karma. I am writing this, not to vent my anger, but to protect other wannabe customers from making the same bad choice I did. The warranty for the repair of 5yr furniture protection plan with the company GBS is a joke. We email them numerous time, never get a response. We have many cracks and wood separation from the dining table. The insurance plan is just more extra HUNDRED for them to make money. They will not take a phone call. Email is the way to contact them. Metal pieces of the ottoman have been protruding from the fabric & have have hurt my children many times. My kitchen table varnish has started chipping as well as my dresser varnish. Delivery and install was set for today 4/25 and the delivery guys show up and install half the bed stating they were missing hardware to complete.
