Purchased 10k in couches and coffee table, was told 2 separate deliveries would be required... not a big deal. During the "negotiation " process I asked the salesmen if the items we had picked were made in the USA, I explained to him that as a marine and it was important to us that we buy American. Needless to say that the furniture in the Ashley store is the same Chinese crap you can buy in those strip mall furniture stores, they come in the exact same box stamped very clearly "MADE IN CHINA, HENCHO IN CHINE, and a French version" every piece of furniture delivered on the 11th had some form of damage or discrepancy, delivery guy got on the phone with Ashley and they said they would send someone out to repair or replace. When the repair guy got there I refused repair on one of the items. Ashley called me and told me that I have to allow him to repair it prior to it being eligible for replacement, I told the guy that he can schedule a truck and pick up all the crap they delivered. He told me that there were no refunds and because I didn't make the delivery driver take the furniture back that I was stuck with it. In the end it will be their loss, we had a massive flood at our house and we are in the process of furnishing a 4,000 sq ft house, probably close to another 25k. Worked with Stan "The Man". We bought a love seat and sofa from a different store two years ago. We also bought the 5 Year Montage coverage and its a good thing. After a mechanical failure in one and a burn in the other, we filed a claim for repair. Because our couches were discontinued and the purchase store was out of business, we were directed to Ashley Furniture. We re selected new couches and walked away with no money out of pocket - new coverage plan, taxes and delivery covered. And the couches were an upgrade! Overall, a FANTASTIC experience. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! I have had the WORST experience with this store. We purchased an entertainment center, two sofas, coffee tables, two night stands, a dresser, headboard, and bed frame on May 3rd with a delivery date of June 1st. June 1st rolls around and only the entertainment center was delivered. They informed me the remaining items would be delivered June 7th. Fast forward to June 7th, 2019 NO ONE SHOWS UP! I waiting around all day no delivery came. I went to the store and they said there was an issue with the driver. I heard three different stories. How can you not contact your customers letting them know there was an issue and the delivery wouldn't be arriving! Then they said delivery would occur on June 8th, 2019. June 8th comes and the headboard was delivered broken! The delivery team take it back and we go down to the store to have this reorder a new headboard. Fast forward to June 24th, 2019 and the headboard is arriving. They show up BUT now there is no hardware to assemble the bed!!!! Having almost been 2 months since the original order date my husband and I decide we do not want this anymore and don't want our money going to a company that has horrible customer service. We go down The ladies that work at the back desk were AMAZING! They did all they can to try and resolve the issue and get us our refund and return. The manager just walked around goofing around with employees and did not come over to help. When he finally did walk by and the employee tried stopping him to get his help his exact words were "this wasn't handled?!" and he rolled his eyes. He of course tried getting me to keep the furniture and I told him multiple times that I do not want this furniture. Finally after stating it literally maybe 20 times he finally realized I am serious and then he informs me that he can't authorize a return. The regional manager has to so they call and email him but can not get a hold of him. The next day June 25th, 2019 the regional manager Gary calls me. He tries to get me to keep the furniture. I once again have to say multiple times that I DO NOT WANT IT. He then precedes to tell me four times that it will be picked up on Friday, June 28th, 2019. I go into the store to get it all sorted out to make sure I get my refund and the manager NEVER came over to check and make sure everything was going okay. Other employees came to check but the manager NEVER came! Fast forward to today June 28th, 2019. IT DOES NOT GET PICKED UP! I wait around for the truck and when they arrive it is to deliver the headboard! I call the store and they say the pick up is for Monday, July 1st, 2019. WHY would they deliver an item that is already in their system as a return/refund!!! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! Possibly the other stores may have better customer service but the manager at this store DOES NOT! Which is sad because Jojo, Gretchen and Aisha (I hope I spelled that right) were GREAT! They tried everything they can to make sure they did everything they could but the manager DID NOT! If I could give ZERO stars I would. read more

I was a bad bad decision to buy my furniture at this place. I was so excited to buy my new furniture, the ladies helped me good at the store. But as my bed was going to delivered first time: they delivered wrong headboard, and we waited for the right headboard to come for weeks second time : right headboard, but as they were taking it upstairs to our room, it got damaged and we were told they will fix it. After about 2 months, I'm still waiting called X4 for same reason and I got same answer, they said they will send the technician out to our house. Still waiting(: then within a month poor quality more than 1000 dollars bed side rail broke. Called people came to our house two times with wrong side rails. It burned all my energy, time and my patience explaining over and over. Finally delivery guys fixed my side rail or I could have been still waiting for the technician to come and fix the side rails. The worst costumer service, worst experience ever. Never going to buy Any furniture from there. Neither recommending it to anyone. Well they finally brought me the right pieces and wouldn't you know they are damaged. You guys are THE worst. Worst decision ever. They delivered a sectional and were missing the sofa part. You know, the most important piece. Then they told me that it's made to order and can maybe get it to me in a week or two. I waited a month for the couch to come the first time. I will NEVER use this store again. I've ordered my whole bedroom set from an Ashley furniture in LA. This one is trash. Customer service is even worse. They said they would call me back in an hour when I called them to explain everything. I too am not sure why AF got such bad reviews. We stopped in here first looking for a sofa sleeper, double bed set for our daughter and a new CA King mattress for us. We were immediately greeted when we entered by Steve maybe? We told him what we wanted and he took us all over that store. We looked at tons of things and he checked prices and availability for us on many things. He spent over 30 minutes with us. He was very knowledgable, friendly and not pushy at all. We couldn't find exactly what we were looking for in a sofa sleeper but got prices on mattress and new bed set. Ok we did end up buying from another place that was cheaper BUT my overall experience here was very positive. At the end of the day they didn't earn my business because even though they had a "huge liquidation" sale and "clearance" stickers everywhere, their prices were still a lot higher than any other place we looked. Steve said he could do 2300 for CA king mattress and double bed mattress, frame, rails and headboard. We went to Mattress Barn and got a CA King for 800 and double bed set for 500. We were 1300 out the door for delivery, haul away, everything. 1k cheaper than Ashley. Sorry guys :( read more

Well......just saw all the negative reviews after I have purchased my items at the Fairfield store a few months back. But this for sales person I dealt with. Her name was Laura Fragoso. She was very patient with me and helped me match up a love seat with the surrounding color in my home (showed her a pic). For a single guy like myself....I would've chose the same color as my walls and floor and it would've looked bland. With the color she showed matched very well with the room. So she gets 5 stars from me. But as an overall experience I give it a four because the table that they delivered was broken. The delivery person notified me of the problem and sent it back. A week later, received the replacement. Thanks to the delivery person for taking care of the issue. If I were to go back to that store I'll be looking for Laura!! read more

We bought a couch and was over charged for shipping. The sales person, Derek, said it was a problem with the computer and that we would receive a refund in a few days. He also said that he would call me to make sure this was corrected. A week went by and no refund and no call from Derek. I called and was told that someone would call me within 3 days. No call. 7 days later, I went to the store(35 min away) and it took 45 minutes to get the refund on my credit card. This is the worst customer service I have received or seen in my life and the 20+ years in retail...I purchased a bedroom set, couches, and a chair for my Mom who lost everything in a fire...I spent $6,200.00 six days ago and got all but one item delivered yesterday...as I was online looking up another item to complete her bedroom...I noticed that the prices were in total $650.00 cheaper than the items I had delivered just yesterday...I went to the store in hopes to get the adjustment to purchase more items and was told that I needed to come in and talk to a manager on Saturday and wait in line...I called and spoke with my original sales person and was advised that she would talk with her manager Henry that was there today (a day prior to when I was previously advised) so I made an appointment to see the original salesperson and when greeted by her she let me know that they could not adjust anything because we received the furniture...which was on the the same day that I originally called corporate that said they would...needless to say I canceled and got a refund on the last undelivered piece of furniture as I found out that there is NO RETURNS ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!!! This was our first time purchasing furniture and a mattress. In the end both my wife and I feel we were taken for a ride by trained salespeople. We went in to purchase a couch set with tax money and ended up also buying a $4000 mattress on credit that we hate. We were told it was risk free and that is not true. We are not able to return it and were forced to spend even more money to have a comfortable mattress. For 5,000 bucks I should be writing a positive review here, the mattress should be amazing. We worked with salesman Joe and store manager Devin, who we both feel are just high pressure salesmen who only care about the sale. No genuine care or concern from either. I'm a local contractor and can't imagine if I took advantage of people unsure of how the construction process went. This establishment doesn't even deserve a star. Dealing with Ashley's HomeStore has been the most terrible experience. I went in with my family to pick out a new dining table and chairs. Setting up the payment plan and picking the date for the delivery was the easy part, it's the receiving of the items that caused the nightmare. The table I planned on getting has a leaf that comes with it. Well, my first order came in with the leaf broken. I did sign saying that everything was received. But the delivery man pointed it out to me, so I called Ashley's and told them about the current situation and they told me that they would do an even exchange for a BRAND NEW table. Let's just say that I went through exactly SEVEN different deliveries just to get my table in NEW CONDITION and not broken. Keep in mind that this seven times I had to call back was a disaster going through. The management is so unqualified and they have no sympathy. They don't care about their customers. And they have poor communication skills. Between the delivery company and Ashely's furniture they both didn't take any responsibly for sending me broken and chipped off tables. I tried to contact corporate and they were NO HELP. If I wanted this kind of crappy furniture and service I could of taken my business to a local furniture store downtown. I will never do business with this establishment ever again. If you are reading this PLEASE DO NOT SPEND ANY OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE, IT IS NOT WORTH IT. read more

My advice is to shops elsewhere. I ordered an expensive dining room set plus additional chairs in November. Delivery was set for December 23rd. Table arrives and they forgot pieces of the table top. I call Ashely nothing they can do until before New Years. Fine! Deliver set for 12/30. Table top arrive with scratches all over the sides. I call Ashley speak with Jackie and she advises me to keep the table so that at lest we have one to use and she will arrange for another to be delivered. She also said she will wave delivery charge off my bill. Fine. Next delivery set. Again at driver table that is delivered is messed up. Again I call and she schedules me another deliver. Delivery comes and the same deal. This time I call as speak with store manger Deven. He assures me that he will take care of it and will speak with where house manager and have him personally inspect table before delivery and he will call me by the end of business day to let me know. Well no call, next day Henrey calls me and sets a delivery day. Table arrives and delivery drivers calls me outside to see table before they bring it in and show me the scratches and marks again! They said. I one as far as they know inspected the table. These guys are not even employees of Ashley or the where house. Apparently all they do is get 120 for the day to deliver. They pull up to where house where items are already pulled for them and load and then they deliver. Well by now I'm fed up. Call Ashley again and speak with Deven. I tell him that they can pick table and chairs up or give me half off of the table and I will keep the scratched up one I have. He says he will crunch the numbers and call me by the end of the day. I never hear from him. I call back a Thursday and the lady on the phone tells me he isn't in till Saturday but she will have He day phone him and then Henry will call me back. Well surprise, no one calls me I call back yesterday and the same hound lady Alasha tells me that they have left several messages for him to call me. And basically I have to just wait. So yesterday I filed a complaint with the BBB. We will wait and see what happens. And as of now, still no call from Deven. My advise is if you do buy furniture from them, beware! And if you do have an issue and need them to fix anything after the second attempt just go to the BBB cause you will get no where with this store. The delivery drivers were even telling me that almost all of there deliveries have a problem with either the furniture being delivered. Crazy! read more

Ordered 2 full-size bed with 7 storage drawers in Fairfield Store for my 2 boys. Got the last delivery on Mar 17 with missing 5 drawers for the last bed. Delivery company took pictures of the bed and sent report to Ashley HomeStore before they left. I never heard anything anymore from the store since then. My poor son cannot organize his stuff since March 2020 because of the missing 5 drawers. We got all our furnitures from this store when we bought our brand new house. This incident is irritating me because I've been calling and emailing them but never got any response. The saleslady cannot even get a hold of their customer service department to help us. Was able to talk to one of their customer service agent over the phone last week (for the first time) and told me drawers were delivered. That made me more upset. He said he'll check with the store and give me a call. Emailed him twice but no more response. This will be our last visit to the store. Disappointing! Poor service! read more

So I just moved out this way and never have I ever been so upset with service. In-store was totally great no problem dealing with the sales rep she was a sweet heart. I'm just over all upset about the lack of communication on the companies part when it comes to them forgetting items. I 1660.89 for my bedroom set and two lamps that weren't with the package. The lamps themselves were 249.99 and I was told in-store on the day of my purchase that they would arrive to my home 9/9/2017. Ten days later no e-mail or response to the delayed packages. Oh and on top of it all I payed 149.99 for a queen coverlet set that was supposed to be delivered with my bed which was over a month ago and I have yet to receive it, or an e-mail. I honestly dislike putting out bad reviews but I feel this company did not help me and did not care about my purchase. Sales staff was great, The issues with my order came more from the warehouse and the staff behind the service desk. I ordered a sectional in May understanding the pandemic and things taking longer to arrive then normal I pushed my scheduled arrival date out by a month (July instead of June) the day before my delivery date I got a call stating they would not be able to delivery the whole sectional only a piece and the other piece would arrive in a month. I went in store to see if there was anything else we could get that would come sooner with no luck. My sales lady and I had told the guy behind the service desk we would be ok waiting the extra month for the other piece the guy had stated it looks like something changed in the warehouse again and nothing would get delivered until late August, I was confused how that changed with in 30 mins but they guy said he would call the warehouse and see if they can still bring my one piece the following day as scheduled then we would call me ASAP that night. The next day came (Delivery date) nothing came and no calls so I called in and they stated the guy in the store canceled my whole delivery without telling me anything and never called them to change it back and I wouldn't be able to get any pieces and would need to schedule a new delivery date for late August or September.
