During our most recent purchase, there was an issue with the pricing after some tags had been mixed up, which resulted in our items costing about $1,000 more than we originally expected. Although that was frustrating, we still decided to move forward with the purchase, and the store worked with us to make the situation right. Throughout the waiting period, they kept us updated on the status of our furniture delivery. When the furniture arrived, one of the end tables had a chipped corner. We notified both the delivery team and the store right away, and they promptly reordered a replacement. Once the new table arrived, they delivered it and took the damaged one back without any hassle. Overall, while there were a couple of bumps during the process, the customer service and follow-through were excellent, and we appreciate the way they handled everything.

The products are beautiful and pricier due to the quality of the materials, size, and additional craftsmanship. The outlet prices are discounted from their retail pricing. From what I can see, the discounts seem comparable to the as is conditions. The majority of the design look is modern classic. They do have statement pieces screaming other styles such as bohemian and eclectic. On my last visit, as I was walking about, the 3 various sales staff walked past me without acknowledgment. Well on the plus side, they did seem to have enough staff to cover the number of customers on the weekend afternoon I dropped in.

We spoke to a couple of associates; they were engaging and helpful. This weekend they are having an additional discount of 10% added to the already tiered markdown prices.. And the items not marked down are 20% off. This sale structure is common of them. The inventory of furniture was in good shape and in my opinion, was marked down accordingly. Don't get me wrong, it's a discount outlet so there's a reason the furniture is there... damaged, retail returned or discontinued. So check out the pieces throughly to see if it meets your standards before purchasing as most items are final sale. And if you like an item, get a sales person attention and stay with the item. Remember since these are not stock pieces. Other folks are also eyeing the same items. This discount shopping ain't for wallflowers. I like to browse the housewares (service ware, glassware, all of that). These pieces aren't broken, but are likely discontinued.

The final straw came when our items were rang up as the final sale price wasn't clear on the screen and didn't match the percentage listed on the shelf. Overall, there was nothing positive about this store so we never plan to return.

The owner told me they could order anything Ashley Furniture carried and could get me a better price than Ashley. I found a couch I liked at Ashley so went back to Home Life specifically because I was told I'd get a better deal. The owner's idea of a "better price"? ONE DOLLAR. Yes, $1. After all that, I ordered it from Home Life rather than driving back to Ashley. About two weeks later, the couch was delivered in the WRONG COLOR. They did reorder the correct one without an issues so I wasn't upset. Mistakes happen. Another 2 weeks later, the replacement couch arrived. The next day, I noticed a 2-inch cut in the arm of the couch. At this point, I asked for a refund. I was told NO and that they would "make it right." The owner said he needed to contact the warehouse because, of course, it wasn't their fault. I was told it would take 5-7 days. I waited. Called. No response from the warehouse. I waited a few more days and called again. Then I was told the replacement part should arrive in 7-10 days. I waited the full 10 days. Still no call. No update. Nothing. I went back to the store yesterday and told the owner I wanted my money back. His response was literally, "No, no, no." He promised he would contact them and call me back. It is now the end of the business day. I never received that call. I bought this couch on July 11, put it on a credit card, and just paid the entire thing off yesterday. So I have now paid in full for a couch that arrived damaged, and Home Life still has not resolved the problem. Not once have I received an apology. No compensation. No follow-up. No resolution. Instead, I have had to repeatedly call and drive back to the store just to get information that should have been communicated to me in the first place. I work 7 days a week. I don't have time to repeatedly chase down a furniture store because they can't follow through with their own promises. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. If you're considering buying from Home Life, DON'T. The supposed "better price" was literally $1, and the customer service after they had my money has been even worse. Save yourself the headache. Go somewhere else.

When I reached out to David at HomeLife Furnishing he said the manufacture had a one year warranty on the sectional but that only the pieces of the couch that were peeling would be replaced. At that time I had requested to return the couch because I figured the peeling would continue but David said that couldn't be done. So instead, 2 pieces of the sectional were replaced. Fast forward, we have had the sectional for 1 year and 3 months and it is still peeling. The sofa/love seat we purchased is the same material as the sectional but I did not have the same issue. The sofa/love seat gets plenty of traction but so far I haven't seen any sort of cracking or peeling. After spending almost $7K in the store I am really disappointed in the quality and the lack of customer service to address the sectional. I definitely understand quality has certainly changed throughout the years and nothing lasts forever, but I shouldn't have to replace my sectional after only having it for a year! $1600 plus down the drain.
