I was in the market for a new mattress. I visited a few places checking out prices. After all was said and done, I purchased a king-size Beauty Rest from them. David, there was extremely professional and courteous. We got an amazing price and most importantly there was not any pressure to buy, unlike other places I visited. Delivery was also superb. The delivery guys had it upstairs and on the bed frame in no time. They were in and out in less than 5 min. Had the pleasure of meeting Jim at the Home Show. He was knowledgeable, kind, and honestly, just a nice guy. He sat and talked to me at my level (I'm in a Powerchair) and never made me feel rushed or dumb. He answered every question and never gave me the pushy salesman routine. When we first started looking for a mattress we started at big, well-known chain and we just didn't find their selection or prices to be that great. Although we didn't want to shop around as it was 113 outside the day we went, I am so thankful we did because we found Matthews Mattress. When we first walked in I was shocked by the large showroom and variety of products that the other store just didn't have. We were immediately greeted, given some time to look around ourselves, then we were able to seek out help right away. We never felt pressured to buy, or like we were being steered to a more expensive product outside of our budget. The entire experience was flawless, pain free and easy. We had our mattress delivered the same night we bought it and we couldn't be happier! Have you ever had a feeling where everything is to good to be true for something to not go wrong. That was my feeling with this place and my purchase the sales staff was not pushy in fact there was just one older gentlemen named Bill I was able to lay on all of the different mattresses untill I found the one I was in love with! They were having a sale for presidents day he also gave me an extra discount. I was suprised to find out that I could get financed with 12 months same as cash and they had free same day delivery. I wasn't ready to get my mattress the same day so I made an early appointment for the next day I was very nervous that they were not going to be there within my appointment like most furniture companies so I called to double check less then 5 minutes later the delivery guys were there and quickly delivered my mattress Needless to say I am very impressed with this business not only were their prices great but also their customer service the first purchase in a long time that I did not have buyer remorse Thank you matthews mattress will refer all of my friends! read more

Horrible Horrible Horrible warranty coverage. Our mattress less than 2 yrs old. Starting major sagging withing 2 months. Let it go u til we realized we had a 10 year warranty. They came and checked it. Dips were measured at 2 and 1/4 inches. Like sleeping in a valley. Only to be told there was a SMALL stain less than the size of a quarter. That voided the warranty. Was never ever offered to purchase a mattress cover at time of sale. Or we were never ever told that something like that would void a warranty t. TOTAL BULLSHIT. WOULD NEVER EVER EVER buy from these people again. You have been warned. SLEEP BROKERS BEST IN VACAVILLE. Rant over. A 1400 Hundred dollar mattress should last longer than 2 years. And a Beauty Rest. This store has the absolute best customer service! I wanted an expensive mattress that was way over my budget, instead of pressuring me the sales employee showed me a mattress in my price range that was comfortable and good quality. I went to another larger chain before here and was shown all this " great financing" options! The sales people pushed mattresses that were not in my budget and tried to make me feel like I was dumb to go with anything else. I will return here to buy in the future. Just purchased a new mattress here and I couldn't be happier! Matthews Mattress has a HUGE in-store selection. My biggest concern was my budget ($300-500). I shopped elsewhere and they did not have much for me to look at in this price range. Here, I had several mattresses to choose from (and many name brand like Serta and Beautyrest). I'm also very indecisive when it comes to big purchases, so Jim let me take my time to decide which mattress was right for me. Once I had decided, he rang me up in about five minutes. I had an absolutely wonderful experience today at Matthews Mattress! I called ahead of time to inquire about a mattress, and Jim was extremely knowledgeable about products and pricing. He didn't even have to look anything up, he just knew instantly like he had been anticipating my call! When I got there, he was friendly, followed all of the social distancing rules with masks, and loaded the mattress into my car. I was in and out in less than five minutes!! I loved that I was able to go in person to buy a mattress that I can use TONIGHT vs the lengthy process of buying online, waiting 2 weeks, then having to wait several days for it to fluff up/inflate and get rid of the weird smell. I wanted to get this done and I did! I definitely advise just going in person and buying a mattress, it's so much quicker and easier. Matthews Mattress is great at selling you a bed. Heaven forbid you should want to return something. They do not have a return policy displayed. By state law, they have to take something back if they don't have a return policy displayed. I wanted to return an adjustable foundation. Bill was very nasty about the whole business. I called him on a weekend and he said "we're really busy now, can you call back on Wednesday? Really, what business does that? I went into the store on Wednesday, after being told by another sales rep that the item was not refundable. I asked to see their return policy, and Bill said "why do you want to be like that?" He finally agreed to take the item back, but I think only because he knew the store wasn't following state law I wouldn't go there again.... read more

A few years ago my wife and I went in here to buy our first mattress together. Bill was a great help and even told us to come back in a few days when the mattress would be on sale. We bought a tempurpedic mattress which we continue to love. A few days ago our son was ready for his first "big kid bed" so we when and looked at beds. Bill was really nice and after taking my sons shoes off he walked us around and let my son test out some beds. The bed we got my son was marketed down 50% and my son seems to really love it (he's two). The bed came with a box spring that made the bed too tall for my son. I called the store and Jim was really helpful, and they exchanged my box spring for a thinner bunky board. Best part is they didn't charge me for delivery or the exchange. read more
