My boyfriend and I moved into our first apartment today (May 25th) so I'm sure many of you know how hard and stressful that can be, picking out furniture, and choosing which shop to trust. David and Bahar even have the best delivery team- Mike and Jose. This team is so great, that I took the time to call them while moving furniture just to get the delivery team's name. Mike and Jose were so nice and courteous, and they were gentle with the furniture. Turns out, one of them somewhat knows my boyfriend, so that's a plus! David was the one who sold us the couch. He's the sweetest. He's truthful without being pushy, helpful, and attentive. While we were the only ones at the store the day of picking the couch, he really tuned in to our tastes and made some really smart suggestions, and didn't rush us out! My boyfriend and I didn't get to meet Bahar, but the two phone calls I had with her, she was very helpful and nice. When calling to confirm dates and time, she didn't sound irate or bored. I had ordered a whole bedroom set from Hello Furniture in Vacaville (who sell items at wholesale from outside sources-ex:Ashley Furniture) back in May of 2020. After months of back & forth, the last conversation I had with them, they told me my full order wouldn't be ready until October (MAYBE- this date had previously been July, then Aug, then partial in Sept). I cancelled my order and the same day went to Ace. Bahar was so patient with me and walked me through the different bedroom sets and even looked up the ones I was interested in to see how long it would take to receive them and let me decide from there. I told her I had the mattress at home and she made sure to let me know I would also need a box spring for this set and discounted it for me! Within 2 weeks I received my full set! David personally came and delivered the furniture and built it all. He asked me where I had envisioned everything and made me room everything I had imagined AND MORE. He made sure my none of my furniture was blocking any of the outlets and I could efficiently use all of my space. The set is beautiful and so sturdy, with lots of drawer space! We went in for a king sized storage bed. This is a family owned store and they are very nice. They had the perfect bed at a great price and we ordered it. Our painter ended up getting the flu and we couldn't take possession of the bed when expected. The nice people at Ace held our bed for 2 weeks until we got the painting done. We ended up finding a sofa elsewhere, but remembered Ace telling us that they could order from most catalogs. We decided a few weeks later to also order new bedroom furniture, and had found a set at a different retailer that was quite expensive. We ended up sending the piece numbers to Ace and they were able to locate them for us and gave us a great deal! Fantastic delivery-- they were able to get on base with very little assistance from us (which is always a nightmare for delivery drivers) and kept me in the loop on delivery time. I was initially a bit worried since I was given a potentially long wait for the furniture to be shipped from warehouses in SF/LA, but it ended up getting here sooner than expected. No hard pressure sale tactics, and we chose ACE because they had a couch we simply loved! We found a similar couch elsewhere and they matched the price. Owners then helped us pick out great colors and customize the piece for our home. The finished piece only took two weeks to deliver from the factory. It was just what we hoped it would be and we are really, really happy. I've been buying furniture from David and his lovely wife for years now and I couldn't be more pleased. They are so eager to get you exactly what you're looking for and they will not try to finagle or talk you into something more expensive or additional (i.e.; the entire set if you only need one piece). Their prices are phenomenal. I was able to go to Ashley Furniture (or their catalog via the net) and find items I liked and went to see David with the item #. He got those pieces for me for hundreds less, and had them delivered to my home (I'm pretty local) for free; assembled and everything. My most recent purchase was a huge, king sized, canopy bed and words couldn't possibly do it justice. He could have easily charged me hundreds more. He also could have taken my word that it would fit (just to get my $) and once I paid, I'm stuck with it. But instead, he had me check the measurements of my bedroom and the staircase leading up to it, a few times and send pix, to be sure it would fit. Very professional. I've, in total, purchased 2 living room sets, 2 bedroom furniture sets including dressers, mattresses, bar stools, another couch for the great room... ok, let's just say that I've refurnished my entire house twice via his store and awesome, high-quality service. Every time I have company, they compliment me on the furniture but can't get over my massive canopy bed. David and the Mrs. are very professional, friendly, fair with the prices, and honest. Even if an item is cheaper but better quality or better suited for you, they'll tell you. Also, you'll receive your items in a very reasonable time frame. That's important.
