Bought a couch for $900 less than a year later the cushions are flat it's sagging in the middle and it's no longer comfortable. I would think that if you buy a couch, the cushion should at least maintain their form and stay somewhat responsive when you sit on it The one we sat on in the showroom was nice, comfortable and firm the one they delivered not so much the salesman are great. The delivery guys were terrible. They brought me a couch with pillows that they dropped outside. Had dirt on them not impressed. read more

I purchased a love seat and specifically stated that the only time I could take delivery would be on Tuesday or Thursday because I have Dialysis on Monday Wednesday and Friday. This company FLAT OUT LIED to me. My purchase order shows a delivery date of 02/06/24 which is a TUESDAY. I called to confirm now I am being told that they don't deliver on Tuesdays or Thursdays. I traveled to Four Oaks to purchase living room furniture. I had printed out exactly what I was planning on purchasing. They did not have the couch and chair I wanted to look at, but indicated they had other pieces from this set. However, they never offered to show it to me....they just handed me back my printed material and said, "Sorry." I left the store and drove to the Raleigh Furniture Outlet in north Raleigh and purchased the "Ashley Furniture" from them. I also got it on sale and saved approximately $300 by buying from Raleigh Furniture Outlet. Your sales people were not rude, but didn't really offer to help me any further. So we came BACK after buying a Recliner one week ago for $699. That same chair was $699 last year also (bought it for my FIL last yr) We bought another today and when we got there the chair was marked $699. Got $60 off the warranty and $50 off for laying on a mattress! I was then told I could get 20% off if I donated $20 to St. Judes. Sweet right? Well, the salesperson started going over the numbers and he said the price of the chair started at $1399! I stopped him and reminded him that the chair was $699. He said that price was a mistake! LIES. I told him he was not telling the truth so he had to talk to someone! He comes back and has to honor the marked price but could not give us the 20% off for St. Jude because the chair would be discounted too much! Never again!!!! Ashley furniture is a joke. Ive called, left several reviews!. I need a manager to reach out asap!!! 1. I initially was told they did not know when my furniture would be delivered AFTER I purchased it right before Thanksgiving. It ended up being delivered by the most unprofessional men Ive ever encountered while conducting business, who smudged and dirtied our furniture after REFUSING gloves that my husband offered since our furniture was very light! There were red smudges which the said was from their dirty blanket!! Other smudges from their dirty hands! Ashley offered to have someone come out to replace fabric in a couple weeks! We didn't have a couple weeks as we ordered furniture for our out of town Thanksgiving guests. They then offered a check if we would clean the furniture. We agreed... and patiently waited for our check. This was Nov 2023! We are now at Jan 2024 and no check or no call!!! I call them and they tell me the person I spoke with in Nov was not authorized to issue/offer check!! She was rube and short, btw!! I then asked for manager, who answered like she was asleep!! I 200% beleive she was napping. Very unprofessional, blah, no customer service at all. She told me she would have my check processed, but she did not know when. I asked her if I could speak to someone who could tell me when I would receive my check, SHE TOLD ME NO, that she was the corporate manager and that there was NO ONE ELSE AT ASHLEY FURNITURE THAT i could speak to thats why they sent me to a corporate manager. She told me the conversation was recorded so I didnt need to speak with anyone else, since she promised to call me the next day with updates on when I'll receive my check. Guess what?!! I was traveling from out of state and wanted to kill some time off the road. I was in search of a kitchen server/buffet cabinet. I had recently bought an Ashley table online and they had the table I purchased up for display in the store. I was nice to get eyes on what my product would look like and I decided to keep the table! I looked around at all of the servers and found one that I wanted. Although they did not have one immediately in stock for my drive, I was able to purchase the display. Kori (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was great! Warm greeting when we walked in, didn't feel pushed pressured. He made sure the display was to my liking before leaving the store. For one, we made our purchase in January, and have yet to get our furniture worth $6k. No one calls to tell us updates on our items, we have to make the calls every month to keep asking where it is?! Also the selling agent NEVER ONCE mentioned there would be delays. We needed a mattress plus bedroom set very bad and he knew this, and let us make the big purchase without telling us it would be 4+ months to wait. Ridiculous. Also the sales agent ran numbers on all our furniture and was finalizing numbers when i mentioned this is not the math i did, he and a manager said with an attitude there's blank fees and such and then i asked to show us the invoice they are talking about because it was over $1500 over what my math was calculating. They came back and said they had some stuff on there from a previous client and thanks for catching that. I call bull and from there on it went downhill. I still have no clue why we proceeded with this order but i really regret it. They are only in it for the money and the sales they give aren't really sales, I'd triple check the prices they give. read more

My husband and I purchased a sofa, loveseat and recliner in March, 2022. We had meticulously searched for the most confortable as we are both tall and in our 70's, so comfort was of extreme importance. The furniture was delivered April 28, 2022, and on May 1, my husband visited the store to adivse how hard the furniture was and nothing comparable to what we saw in the showroom. The salesperson was invited to our home to see for himself, which he declined, but he did advise we needed to contact customer care and they would take care of any problems. On May 3, during a chat session, I was given a ticket number and assured we would hear something soon. A couple of days later, I called again and was told to send photos which was done, still nothing. A few days later I called again and was told the cushions were being replaced and I asked if that included the back as that was just as uncomfortable. I was told the representative would have to check further and get back to me. A few more days passed, and I again contacted and was told the representative was on the phone with a customer but would call me back shortly. Still no return call. This is the worst customer customer I have ever experienced. A year later, and we are still trying to get this issue resolved. read more

So I ordered furniture at the beginning of October from Ashley furniture homestore in Four Oaks NC. I told the manager Big Mike that I did not want to order this furniture if it wasn't going to be in until February. He said, oh no it will be in November 14th, even showed my sister and I this on his laptop. Well I was okay with November so I ordered. Well that date comes and goes and no furniture. I call at the beginning of December and am given a date for the middle of December. That comes and goes and I call back. I was told they were very sorry and everything is showing to be in by February 28th, that the last thing we were waiting on was the dining room table. So I patiently waited. That day came and went. Today March 15th I called and asked for Big Mike. I was connected to the store and told that he wasn't there. This salesman asked if he could help me. So I explained the entire story and he said well I can look it up and see when it should be in. He tells me that it is showing we were waiting on the chaise end of my couch. What? Wait, I thought we were waiting on the dining room table. This guy then explains that if you choose to not accept partial deliveries, if some of your stuff is available and they can fulfill another order they will take from yours to fulfill theirs. He asked had anyone told me that. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! And at that rate we could be doing this forever. I was livid. This guy tells me he understands and asked me to hold on so he could talk to his manager. He came back and said that his manager agreed it was ridiculous and they wanted to see what they could do to figure something out, or compensate me in some way. I asked what did I have to do to just cancel the order. He explains that now because I am past a certain time frame from when I ordered I would have to pay 10%. So because I was the patient customer who kept getting put off(and unknowingly put off past a certain no return date) I have to pay about 800.00 to cancel this order. This guy tells me they are going to look into it and he would call me back today by 5pm. Well 5pm comes and goes and no call(not surprised). I call back up there and asked them to connect me back to the store. This time Jon Petrovich answers the phone and I explained everything to him. He agreed that it was ridiculous and he agreed that I shouldn't be held responsible for paying a cancelation fee. He spoke with JP Haumann and they told me that it actually looked like they were waiting on the chaise and the two recliners I had ordered. Again told something completely different on the same day. He asked me to hold on and they talked to someone and came back and said the furniture looks like it would be in April 7th, but if I chose to cancel they would not charge me anything. I immediately said to cancel and thanked these two men for actually being honest, helpful and just good human beings. Jon and JP should get 5 stars but the rest of the staff I have dealt with seem to lie, lie, lie, just to make a sale. NO THANK YOU!! read more
