Horrible post-purchase treatment. I bought a $2300 couch from them now that have developed a rip. Per Ashley Warranty and MyProtectAll protection plan, I was told by the sales associate, that it will basically cover everything from rips to spills to pet accidents. However, no, after developing a rip in one of my arm rests, MyProtectAll rejected my claim, as did Ashley. He came over to talk with us and when we realized we didn't want to waste his time any longer we told him, but his reaction was shocking. He literally stormed off, as a grown man turned into cry baby mode... He was so unprofessional as he stood up and had the most uncomfortable reaction.. rolling his eyes and storming away from customers who would have likely come back because Gabby had been so helpful and unpressuring. We've made a few purchases from Ashley's before. The items have always been of good quality. Our latest purchase was a sofa recliner. See, we had a leather sofa, Electric recliner, from Ethen Allen. While it looked great & felt like a million bucks, over a relatively short period of time, 3/4 years, we had issue after issue. Finally we decided it isn't necessarily what you pay. It's the product itself. Again having a leather Electric recliner we decided to look for a non leather, manual recliner. Well I'm was pleasantly surprised when I found out, I'd be paying a third the cost. And getting a sofa that not only looks good but it's as comfortable as can be. I'd just recommend to anyone looking at a Electric recliner. Just be aware that it could be problematic and cost a fortune after what could be a short time. Further out then the manufacturer warranty allows & not covered by the extra protection plan!!! read more

I really don't like to leave bad reviews as I am a business owner myself, but I have to warn everyone about the bad business conducted at this Ashley's. Beware this company at all costs.  I bought my furniture back in October. I bought over $5,000 dollars' worth of furniture and was very excited as I was moving into a new apartment. They told me the furniture would be delivered in two weeks. Two weeks later no furniture. One month later, they delivered chairs, and no table. I bought a kitchen table, chairs, a bed frame, a bed, and other small pieces. I had 0 furniture in my apartment and had to make do with sleeping on an air mattress. I was on the phone with them relentlessly to see when I was going to get my bed and bed frame.  Next, they delivered the bedframe with no rails. The workers couldn't even set up my bed frame for me and left the furniture there in shambles. Still sleeping on the floor, and no kitchen table to enjoy meals, they made another delivery. Instead of the rails or my mattress they delivered a mattress pad that protects the mattress. Frustrated and in tears from the back pain of having to sleep on the air mattress for months, I called them. They said the bed wouldn't be delivered until next year and they didn't know why the railing wasn't delivered. That's three whole months with no bed, bedframe, kitchen table. No functional house and $5,000 gone. Finally, I went into the store and demanded my money back. One of the employees told me I couldn't get my money back if they delivered the bed frame already. I told them that they delivered it in pieces and forgot the main piece, the rails that hold the bed together. He had nothing to say and instead directed me towards a different associate. She said she would create a complaint for me and that I would get my money back, and a team would come pick up the useless pieces that were taking up so much room in my bedroom. I was so happy to receive my money back so I can go get a REAL bed. Two weeks later, I haven't heard anything from them. They are withholding $3,000 out of the $5,000 dollars and have left me with junk that I cannot use. Please whatever you do not buy from this store. I called to tell them about this double charge, they assured me the original charge and "accidental" double charge would be refunded to my account. I made an extra call the day after to make sure they would refund both charges; again, I was assuaged that it would be fixed. 4 days later, I check my account. Was I refunded for both charges? Ashley's is the supplier for Living Spaces so they are able to sell some of the same pieces/sets that you'll find in Living Spaces at cheaper prices! They have really good deals at any given time. I came here looking for a couch and saw tons of deals where you could get two couches, rugs, coffee tables, lamps and other miscellaneous items for only $699. That is a great deal for someone who is just starting out! I was looking for a specific type of couch so I went with a different deal. Even if you don't plan on buying, this is a great store to check out if you need ideas on how you should decorate. The store is kind of small but its doable. My furniture was delivered in two day and the guy put it together in less than 10minutes! Beware, the delivery fee is about $100 itself! When I walked in with my two friends, who also own homes and were wearing workout clothes, we didn't get a proper greeting. No one asked if we needed help with anything. I worked with the "Trusted Advisor" Desiree who worked with me to buy a couch. We picked out a couch, went through the purchase, and set a specific delivery date. This delivery date was specifically set on a Saturday due to me being out of town Monday-Friday weekly. I get a call on Thursday saying that the movers are outside my unit and are wondering where I am. I talk with customer service at Ashley HQ and turns out Desiree never set the proper delivery date. Due to it being Thursday, all the delivery times on saturday (when it was supposed to be delivered) were taken. Due to this, I had to wait an additional week, book tickets to come back into town (100$) for the delivery date on the following saturday. I reached out to Desiree who told me she would have Johnny (the apparent "manager") reach out to me. It has been 3 weeks and I have not heard back from Desiree, or Johnny. The customer service at this store is RIDICULOUS. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

My husband and I have been looking for a new mattress and bed frame and Brian was extremely patient and helpful. He ensured we got the right fit for what we were looking for and didn't pressure us into purchasing right away (even though I kept being indecisive on what I really wanted). He and one of the managers, Deante managed to get us a great deal and helped us out with the financing portion. Our delivery for our mattress and bed frame was delivered on time as promised and we had no issues with the set up. We went back to the store today and asked for Brian again and this time he helped us get a new dresser along with a pillow for my husband. We were very pleased with the deal he was able to get us. Purchased a couch because my last one gave out on me. So I used the Ashley website to order a couch to be delivered. I was given a delivery window of 1pm-4pm. Having this information, I decided to base my day around this delivery window. Unfortunately, the delivery drivers decided to show up at 10 am and I had to rush home to receive the delivery. Next the delivery guys told me that the couch wouldn't fit through the door and they they would have to take it back... unless I paid them $80 cash to move it through the balcony door. I needed the couch and my day was now thrown off so I decided to let them hustle me. They get the couch in drop the pillows off, take a picture of it and take off. Assembly was easy and I got what I expected, the couch is comfortable and looks nice. That's when the second kick to the groin came... Ashley decided to charge me for a premium delivery (without contacting me) adding the $50 charge to my card. So yeah, not only did the drivers con me out of $80, but then they hit me with another $50 charge on the back end. I tried calling customer service whose number is buried on their website, and I sat on hold for an hour before getting a notification that their call centers were now closed. So now I'm waiting for a response from the email I sent and will most likely waste a large chuck of my day waiting for someone to answer the phone tomorrow. 1/5. read more

Before you consider purchasing anything from this store, please consider my review. If you are reading this and you're at the store considering purchasing from them, please re-consider. I ordered a couch and big chair from this store, the total was north of $2000. There were red flags from the very beginning, and I probably should've been more concerned with them at the time, but hopefully my review will prevent someone else from making the same mistake. I had been in their store 4-5 times before finally deciding I wanted to purchase. During the initial purchase, the salesperson kept trying to push me into getting their warranty program. I have worked in sales and know that most companies sell third party insurance on their items, and most often those plans are terrible. I had no intention of purchasing this service from them but they kept trying to push me into. Luckily I did not, and after reading the reviews online, it looks like it is complete garbage so do not purchase their warranty. When viewing the couch and chair, I asked if it came with all the pillows. "Yes, it comes with everything you see here." When I received the items, I was missing one pillow. When I called up the store to ask them about it, they refused to fix it. The big chair I purchased had a pillow on it that apparently does not come with it. When I called back 4+ days after purchasing, the pillow was still there. The rep told the manager named Cammie my concern and she refused to do anything about it. "Yes we realize we told you it came with everything pictured and yes that pillow is still there but no we are not moving the pillow off the display and we are not going to provide the extra pillow for you." Unreal that a store would stiff a customer who had spent $2000+ in there over a pillow. I finally got the pillow but no thanks to this store. I had to complain on Twitter to the Ashley corporate account and they sent me one. When the furniture arrived, the crew was fast in putting it together, but they left many bad/deep scratches and scuffs on our brand new Cherry hardword floor. I'm not talking about little nicks or 1 inch scratches, they left multiple deep scratches and scuffs that were up to a foot long. The brand new floor in the living room looks terrible now. It is 3 months past the date when the furniture was delivered and my floor still hasn't been fixed. Twice they told me they were sending someone out to fix it and they no showed. Randomly one day someone showed up to fix it with no pre-warning to me and we weren't home. It also took them nearly a month to respond to my request for repair, and I had to call them 7+ times over many weeks to finally get ahold of someone. I may just have to sue them in court to get our floor fixed at this point, I'm going to be referring this case to our attorney if our floor is not fixed by the end of the month. If after reading my review, you are still considering purchasing from them, good luck. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I will never give Ashely another dollar in my life after the experience I had with this store. Terribly run business, horrible management, tons of lies, all of the other negative reviews are true. After receiving a text message to confirm my delivery I cleared my schedule only to find out the delivery is delayed a week. After confirming with me it would be delivered I have to call to find out I am wasting my time? No phone call? This is after I had to cancel my initial order with a different Ashley homestore after they told me a week after my purchase that my dining set was discontinued and unavailable. I have been waiting for furniture for a month now with only a bean bag chair in my living room. Didn't realize a purchase with Ashley homestore would have me reliving my college days. So, after going to three different locations, I returned to this one because of Lori Cisneros. She didn't pressure me, and she let me browse at my leisure. She provided detailed answers to my questions and understood my needs. She helped me look and make decisions that created the best buying experience. I actually didn't buy anything during my first visit. When I returned, I made an appointment with Lori and she again took her time to help me. I bought my sofa and once it is in my home, I'll be able to determine the rest of my furniture decisions based on space. I intend to go back to Lori and continue shopping with her guidance. We were told we could get a refund if we don't use it, it covers all types of stain, blah blah blah, then guess what ? When we try to submit a claim, it was denied as there was a lot of restrictions, and obtaining a refund was very difficult, we had to call synchrony, Ashley, and the protection agency, and then guess what ? He refused to discuss my order with me, would rather have his customer services reps go back and forth to only come back with NO INFORMATION.
