The store and salesman are very professional, but the couches themselves are really hard to put together. Also the fit of new couch is dramatically different then what you feel in the show room . I suggest if you are going to buy one make sure you have a second or third to help you put it together or better yet hire a third party assembler. Note the store cannot recommend one. The reason why I give this place 2 stars is everyone of course is really nice inside as they're selling $20,000 couches however I feel like this couch is worth maybe 10,000 or less. We specially ordered the linen material as we don't like polyester. I even stopped by to ask, and he assured me that it's linen. But when we got it, it says faux linen so it's fake everything's made out of polyester. So just know that before purchasing. Also were are used to Bose and with the sound system every time he changed the show we have to adjust the sound we've called tech twice so that's super annoying. Hopefully in the future they can fix that. read more

We got the couch quickly! So it is kind of a pain in the butt to have to put the covers on every piece. It looks nice tho once it's done. There was a price change after we bought the couch. Went to the MB location again but the girl there was no help. My husband contacted Lovesac 2 times. 1st time was no help as well. The 2nd time the girl was nice and somewhat helpful. We would be getting a price adjustment but they couldn't tell us when nor how much. They would also not be sending an email for that. Made me a little weary but in the end we were given a refund. Made me have a little more faith in them. Time will tell if the couch holds up! Oh! The fur babies love it!!! read more

I had been looking at purchasing a sac for home for a few months. When a good sale came up, I went in to make my purchase on November 28th. I was told that they were telling people 2-3 weeks, but things had been moving quickly and I would likely have it in 3-4 days. I received an email the next day that they were "working on my order", then...crickets. NOTHING. No communication of expected delivery or anything. I finally sent an email on December 10th, nearly TWO WEEKS later. I asked them to cancel my order. It was that day that I received an email to say my shipment was on the way and the customer service department sent me a note on December 12th to say "I see that we sent an email yesterday, updating you with the necessary tracking info for your order" and that "it does not appear we missed any updates". No, you didn't miss any updates, you just didn't send me an update until I reached out and asked you to CANCEL my order. Given the company policy is a 60 day trial and makes a few long term promises, my initial experience didn't give me any confidence they would be timely or honor the promises at all. I feel there should have been much better communication than what I received. It was extremely disappointing! read more

The Lovesac concept...GREAT! The delivery/set-up process....not so much! I was extremely disappointed with the delivery update of my sactional. After 2 weeks, I had to reach out to the company for an update. Turns out, my fabric was on backorder and no expected date other than 4-6 weeks. I expected to be updated about the order process, especially with my fabric on backorder. Continuous questions to Lovesac about an update with not much change other than mid August. I had to accept a partial delivery because I didn't have a couch in anticipation of a 1-2 week turnaround. The only saving grace in the process was Douglas at hubbeehelper.com and happeehelper.com. He came over, unpacked the boxes, put everything together quickly, and was kind enough to take the cardboard for me. The fact Lovesac does not offer set up nor offer options for local personnel to put the furniture together (check out all the horror stories about time spent and difficulty) is not a good business practice. My husband and I had the most amazing service from Illya when we recently went in to buy our new couch. He was super helpful in making sure we tried all the different options to be sure that we were finding the exact combination that would suit us the best. He was super patient as I moved all the set pieces around in the store to really get a feel for how the pieces work together. Illya was very conscience of making sure we got the right fabric. I went with a softer ultra velvet that will be amazing and he made sure to let me know that it would take a bit more time with that one so I wouldn't be surprised. The wait will be worth it though! Here it is. First I would like to say a very special hello and thanks to Ilya in the Manhattan beach location. Secondly a shoutout to Heidi for her input while we were in the showroom. My wife and I have always wanted to try the lovesac brand. Now for the review, We arrived about five minutes before they opened and Ilya was kind enough to let us in and introduce himself. Ilya asked us for some information as to what we might be interested in and with that he began to get a feel for who we are and on what our needs and wants were. As you know needs and wants sometimes don't add up to what you might think. So with our info in mind Ilya took us to a work table and my wife and I had a laugh that we were going to play with some blocks. All kidding aside the blocks truly helped us to envision how each piece of furniture would fit in to our home and how we might arrange them to fit the space that we had in mind. Ilya, truly understands the product and had a wonderful understanding of how to bring our vision together. After me joking around with him we realized that Ilya has a wonderful understanding of salesmanship and truly made us comfortable with making our decision to buy our furniture through him and lovesac. It's not often that you have a sales person listen and understanding your needs and is able to see your true vision so for that we thank him. Ilya, Helped us with choosing the type of coverings and the colors of our coverings so that they would fit our motif and blend in to what we already owned. This was amazing that one guy could walk us through so much never missing a step in the presentation of the product is understanding of our needs and showing us how each peace functions in your home. There are a few things that if not told to us we wouldn't have had a good experience at home when the product showed up. So having Ilya walk us through each peace that we bought sure helped us understand what to do and how to put the lovesacs together. I don't often spend more then 20 minutes in a store but before we knew it 45 minutes had passed and we were satisfied with what we had heard from Ilya that we made our decision to move forward. As Ilya was doing his paperwork to finish our transaction he suggested the we take two different sample coverings our in the natural light just to be sure that the color was what we wanted and if we wanted to choose a different covering color or material. Who does that?? I was very impressed with this gentleman's sales abilities and knowledge I would recommend to my family and friends that if they ever are interested in purchasing Lovesac to go visit Ilya in Manhattan Beach Lovesac showroom. We weren't planning on stopping into the store but I was pleasantly surprised to find a Lovesac location here. We stopped in. The store is following Covid precautions with limited capacity. A sign in the front of entry allows for reservations ahead of time to maintain precautions. Since there wasn't a reservation at the time we were able to enter the store. It wasn't a large showroom, however it efficiently demonstrated everything you need to see/know about Lovesac products. We also weren't planning to purchase a sofa today but Bri and the manager (I forget his name at the moment) were so helpful in educating us about the product that we have seen on commercials and through a friend that we had to make a purchase that day! We wanted to take advantage of the special sale that is limited to a couple times a year and the additional discount for healthcare workers. It was helpful to see and feel the product in person. It probably would be helpful to have more signage somewhere on the outside of the mall that this Lovesac location is here but overall I'm a happy customer with the in person experience :) read more

It was so difficult to try and find the right sofa at so many well known furniture stores. I couldn't find the right size and the customization options were limited. I am so glad I decided to check out Lovesac. They were recommended by a competitor. Ilya and Dan were so phenomenal at helping me to get just what I needed. The options for configuration are unreal! Do yourself a favor and check them out. The new Stealthtech sound system that integrates into the sectionals is seamless and amazing... it really is unbelievable. Go into the showroom at the Manhattan Village Mall and check it out. Everything is machine washable, and expandable.
