I have purchased a couple of furniture items from other Ashley furniture store. Me experience with this particular store is the worst I have ever had after purchasing an item from any business in my lifetime. Run away from this store as far as you can. I purchased a TV console, a coffee table and a dining set. The dining set has not been delivered. We called to cancel. The financing company is charging us for all the items including the dining set which was never delivered. I have called the store several times to remove the charge for the dining set, but it is never happening. If you plan to buy an item from Ashley furniture, please go to another store. read more

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Mark Heitman. I was helping an elderly friend Shirley F. with selecting a sectional sofa for her home. Mark was the first to welcome us to the store with his incredible smile! We spent a couple of hours looking at all of the beautiful furniture and Mark was friendly, helpful and patient. After he found us the perfect sofa then he suggested a lovey piece for Shirley to put her TV and knick knacks on. Did I mention that he was patient?!?!?! Shirley changed her mind several times, but Mark never seemed to mind. His professionalism and kindness did not go un-noticed! I really appreciated that Mark made this event so easy for Shirley. We went in over 2 months ago. We purchased 2 couches. The salesman handed us a contract to sign. My husband was hesitant to sign it because it didn't give an exact delivery date. The salesman reassured us multiple times that it would be under a month for delivery. He said that they were backed up due to COVID. That makes sense. We obviously wanted to be understanding. But we asked multiple times if it was over a month if we could cancel. The salesman told us that would NEVER happen. Well he lied. It's been months and they have given us multiple days for delivery and then change the date last min. We have both had to take off work only for them to back out last minute. When we call and ask what can be done, their customer service representatives are rude and and tell us we're going to pay no matter what. At this point, I don't not understand why we're paying for shipping that is over a month late. We've also both lost out on money because we've had to take off work. NOT WORTH THE DISCOUNT. My wife and I purchased over $10,000.00 worth of furniture from Ashley Furniture on 11/24/2019. The purchase consisted of 2 bedroom sets and a living room set. They promised to deliver it in 2 deliveries. Ashley did not show up 3 times for deliveries. They did not even bother to call us. I had to make the 35 minute drive to the store at 19660 Restaurant Row Houston, TX three different times. One of the bedroom night stands we had to talked them into giving us the one off of the showroom floor. Finally in January we received everything except the remaining night stand. They promised that we would receive the night stand before January 29th. We never received the night stand or a phone call. When we called Ashley Furniture back, the manager who returned our call was not very helpful and did not seem to care whether we received the night stand or not. She told us we had to wait until March 13th to get the night stand. March 13th just came and went and we still do not have furniture. The new promise is March 18th. I doubt they will follow thru with that date either. read more

The sales manager was great. Pierre Greene. However the sales and customer service was horrible. I purchased a $440 mirror, when I went to take it off the wall it was broken. I told them I didn't want it to just give my money back. They then proceeded to tell me they would have to mail my money back in the form of a check. Mind you it was not even 15 mins since I handed the lady my money. This is the last time this place will see a dollar of my money. read more

Where do I even begin with these people. First off, they have really nice furniture and their sales team will do a great to get you to buy. They're very helpful while you're in the store. We had a great experience in store. Unfortunately that's where it ends. Our sales person ensured us that we would have our furniture by Aug 6 before I moved to a different city. Multiple times he said we would be guaranteed to have our furniture, knowing they were experiencing delays due to Covid. Not once did the salesman mention any of these delays so I wish the store would stop using Covid as an excuse. If you're having issues then be honest with your customers and let them know that, you would have fewer terrible reviews. Here's where the real issue is: delivery. We have gone around in circles with these people for over a month now. First some of our furniture would be here on time, the other would be delayed. The second call, all of our furniture was delayed so we had to change the delivery address since I'm moving. Days later, our furniture date was moved up to 7th but to the new location, I move in on the 8th. I called the store and they changed the delivery date to the 10th. Hours later I get a text saying delivery date is still set for 7th to a city I don't live in yet. What's most frustrating is when I called the number that I was given via text if there were any delivery issues, I was told "sorry there's nothing I can do for you, you have to call the store, the furniture will be delivered on the 7th". Shocker that when I tried to call the store no one answers and when they do the call gets dropped. Finally I thought we had everything settled and the day before delivery date, I get a call with a three hour window for delivery. Then hours later, another call saying the deliver is pushed back to next week. Somehow in the morning, my furniture was ready but in the afternoon it's no longer available until next week. Here's my advice: Take all of these negative reviews seriously and don't get lured in by the nice furniture and helpful sales team. Plenty of locally owned furniture stores sell Ashley furniture and you won't have the same hassle. I recently purchased an Ashley computer desk from a local store and had zero issues. You don't want these headaches that we've had to deal with. We will be cancelling over $4000 worth of furniture that we ordered at the beginning of July because it's not worth the hassle with these people. read more

I had similar experience to this location. I bought several pieces of furnitures and the service was horrid. The sales person was Henry, and he was very helpful. Despite he seemed a little bit new to the computer software, he was able to give us information of the pieces that we wanted. I totally think he was qualified to be an ethical salesman. First, he didn't stalk us and viewed us like prey in the wolf pack. Second, he was very helpful by telling us special discounts which we really appreciated. The 1 star experience happened in the end. Evidently the cashier Ashley (how ironic) didn't care about customer service and didn't care about ANYONE. We basically waited an hr and 30 minutes until we were able to check out. She did incorrect prices, added incorrect items, and she didn't even look at us as customers. I almost walked out of the store when all of this was happening, and I literally wasted my afternoon for someone to take my credit card. STAY the hell away from this place. I personally really recommend Henry. He didn't try to sell us any of those useless protection plans and instead he tried very hard to help us. PEOPLE ! it's not hard to treat your customers well by simply showing that you CARE. read more

I was not happy with the service. The workers seemed to be stressed or in a different world. I at some point I walked over to the gossiping huddle and asked if someone could help us. One of the salesmen said "When we're done I'll be over to help you." It was a bit rude. My hubby was very interested in a new dual sectional recliner set. We walked around about 20 more minuets and we walked over to a smaller huddle of gossiping workers and asked was someone going to help us. One sales lady stepped out and said "Didn't he tell you he'd be over when he's done." Like I was a child said in a Sarcastic tone. I responded " you know what.. You can have this we'll go somewhere else to spend our money. FYI your loss and I will Yelp this experience. All of a sudden they were willing to help as we're making our way to the door. I turned around and said in a sarcastic tone " Didn't I say we'll go to another store to spend our money FYI your loss..? Them that's what I meant." The only reason this store receives one star is because they have great financing options. When my boyfriend and I were buying furniture for our new home we visited the store 3 times to make our selections and place our orders. During this time the staff seemed helpful. On Feb. 14 the delivery people gave us the wrong couch as well as another one that we had not ordered. After realizing this as well as realizing that they had not delivered a $130 mattress pad that was necessary to fulfill the extended warranty for our new bed I called to notify the store directly on Feb. 17. My salesperson apologized and said for me just to come by the store and pick it up as they had them in stock. When I went by the store no one knew what I was talking about. After about 15 minutes of trying to access my account the person that was assisting me said their system went down. They said they'd call me the next day to follow-up. Feb. 22 (five days later) I called the store for an update. After being on hold for 10 minutes I was disconnected. I called back and had to wait another 5 minutes for my salesperson. Once I got him on the phone he said he'd take care of it and get back to me. Feb. 25 After no return call, I called back I ask to speak to my sales person. I'm told that he's with another customer but they take my number and let me know he'll call me back, he didn't. I was in the area a few hours later so I stopped by for the second time to resolve the issue. As soon as I walk in I see my sales person and a another employee sitting and chatting on the floor room couches. As soon as he sees me he jumps up and says to come over to the desk and they'll take care of me. We go to the desk and I wait for 10 minutes to be assisted before being told again that they cannot access my account. The person assisting me explained that given the situation they'd have to give me a credit and then we'd have to purchase the mattress pad again. I ask how long this will take (as it's already been over 11 days since my delivery at this point) and she says that she has to get an e-mail approval. She asks me to giver her until 2:00p.m. on Feb. 26, the next day, to give me an update. Feb. 27 After no return call, I speak with a "Customer Service Manager" as my salesperson was off. I explain to her that had been calling for almost 2 weeks concerning a missing mattress pad and had been promised follow-up with no resolution. She apologized and asked if she could research the information and call me back in 30 minutes. 4 hours later I call her back as she had not returned my call. We played phone tag several times this day with no resolution. Feb 28 I called to let the customer service manager that I am in the area to see if I could just stop in and pick up the mattress pad. She let me know that she'd only just arrived for her shift, but would see if there were any in the store. She placed me on hold and checked, there were none in stock. She said since it was Friday they couldn't order it until Monday. I asked why this had not been ordered yet as it had been two full weeks since my original delivery date. I asked if there was any way for this to be rushed given the amount of time I'd been waiting and guests that would staying with us. She said she'd check the other stores to see if any one else had them in stock and then we could pick it up. No other locations are as convenient as theirs so I asked if it could be shipped directly to us. She said she'd check and call me back. This pattern goes on for two more weeks and at least a dozen more phone calls. This has without a doubt been the worst customer service experience I have had in years. It took me three weeks to resolve an issue that should've been handled in one day. I honestly think that the staff thought the issue would just go away. If I had not been persistent, I would still be waiting on resolution. I honestly do not know how this location stays in business. read more

Our salesman, David Inabnit, was extremely helpful and compassionate about our situation. He was patient while we made our final picks and was able to work with our construction timeline for delivery. We will definitely be returning for future purchases! read more

Told the manager about the experience and he seemed not to interested in us or our business. Went right across the way and purchased our new mattress and was upgraded at no additional fees. My wife and I went shopping today for a sofa. We visited three different stores. In the first two stores we found very limited selection. In the first store, after talking to 3 salespersons, we found a nice gentleman who was interested in helping us, but he had no selection. In the second store, a large store that sells furniture by the room,(not to mention names) the salesmen was rude. He acted like he was too busy to help someone looking for just a sofa. The third store, we walked into Ashley HomeStore on Restaurant Row. We were met by Travis Weithorn. Travis listened to what we wanted and immediately said "certainly, right this way." He proceeded to engage us in conversation and show us sofas that were in the range of what we were looking for. He continued to show us many sofas, giving us choices in color, size and price. During this process, Terry Coughlin, the manager, introduced himself to us and let us know he was there to help us also. Finally, a real professional organization. My wife with help from Travis narrowed it down to two sofas. She picked one and bought it on the spot. Travis was very attentive without being pushy. He was informative, professional, friendly and engaging. Mr Coughlin touched base with us again before we left. We should have gone there first. I highly recommend Ashley HomeStore, Travis and Terry to anyone looking for furniture or home goods. read more

Purchased $6751.59 worth of furniture and promised a Monday delivery. After 6 calls that day no show and no furniture. Went to the store on Tuesday and they were to deliver Wednesday. Get a call late Tuesday saying they can't delivery Wednesday. Order was cancelled and I was promised a refund. Found out today that the refund was never credited. After 40 minutes of being on hold today I have learned that someone is going to have to get back with me. Wow what a joke! read more

My husband and I have a serious complaint about their efficiency concerning furniture delivery. On May 25, 2014, we purchased a bedroom set, a love seat, and a sleeper sofa from this store at 4500 San Felipe in Houston, TX. We were told that all furniture but the sleeper sofa would be delivered on June 5th, and the sleeper sofa would be delivered on June 24th. On June 5th, all of the bedroom set was delivered perfectly, however, the love seat came in the wrong color (they brought charcoal gray, and we ordered quartz). They left the wrong love seat with us until they could reschedule the delivery of the correct love seat. The company then decided that they would deliver both the sleeper sofa and the correct love seat on June 27th instead of the 24th, which was fine, except that we would be on our honeymoon in Jamaica during that time, so we requested that the company call my mother-in-law to schedule the delivery window instead of us, as we would not be getting international calls. They said that would not be a problem. She spent over an hour on hold with your Customer Care Center, and still was not able to schedule our delivery because your company did not follow our instructions to call her, and kept calling us while we were in Jamaica, therefore causing us to miss our delivery on June 27th. The company then rescheduled the delivery of our sleeper sofa and love seat for today, July 5th, between 10 AM and 1 PM. I called Customer Care the morning of July 5th at 10:45, and after waiting on hold for an absurd amount of time, finally spoke with someone who said delivery was all set for today. However, when the delivery truck showed up, our couches were not on it. The delivery men said that they had only received an order for a pick up from our apartment, not a delivery of two couches. This is absolutely ridiculous, and I cannot even believe the problems we have had with this store. This is extremely inefficient and we are very unhappy. The delivery men spoke with someone named Josh on the phone who then told them that the earliest they could deliver our couches will be this Thursday, July 10th. I am EXTREMELY upset about this, as we purchased these couches OVER A MONTH AGO. We are so tired of sitting around in these 4 hour windows, waiting for furniture to be delivered that will never come. They finally got our couches to us on Thursday, July 10th, but knocked things off of the wall as they delivered the couches, breaking them and leaving long brown scuff marks across our wall, which we were not compensated for. We are absolutely FURIOUS about the way this has been handled and are making it known that we will NEVER be purchasing anything from Ashley Furniture again. It is August 14th, and we have received our statement from their financing company. We have discovered that we have been charged DOUBLE for the love seat, equalling an extra $400, which means ANOTHER trip up to the store to complain until they fix it. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. You will be extremely disappointed in their customer service and billing departments. Save yourself the migraines and go somewhere else. read more

Update 7/6/2017: The day after I posted this review, I received an email stating that I'll be receiving a refund. Today it was posted to my card statement. Obviously it shouldn't have taken months for me to get it, and there was no explanation in the email for why it was so delayed or why they lied about issuing a refund back in Jun 3, but at least I appreciate the fact that they finally took care of the problem. As such I have changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. Original review from July 3 below: My parents purchased over $10k worth of furniture at this store. As of today they are still owed $258.17 for when they exchanged their chairs for lower-priced counterparts. We have been trying to get this refund since May 9 and to date not only has Ashley Furniture refused to issue the refund, they also lied about it. I have been in contact with Wesley Boyd, a manager at this location. I often have to email him 2-3 times before he will send me an update. As of late he stopped responding altogether. Here's a detailed account of our correspondence: May 9: I emailed him asking for a status of the refund. May 9: He said he will contact me when he gets back to work. May 15: I emailed him because he still has not contacted me. Jun 2: I emailed him AGAIN because he STILL has not contacted me. Jun 2: He finally emailed me back, asking for a photo of the invoice, which I sent him promptly. Jun 3: He said he will investigate & contact the responsible party for refund. Jun 3: He sent me an "activity printout" stating that a refund has been sent. Except we did not receive a refund on our credit card statement. So I asked him to send me a refund receipt with the credit card number the refund was sent to. Jun 5: He said he will send me the receipt "tomorrow." Jun 9: I emailed him because I have not received the receipt. I also sent him my dad's CC statement which shows that the refund has not been received. Jun 14: I emailed him again because he did not respond. Jun 15: He claimed he did not receive my email, but said he will send over the refund receipt. I emailed him the CC statement AGAIN. Jun 23: I emailed him again, because I still have not received a refund. Guess what? No response. No refund. No receipt showing refund was ever sent either. At this time I have no choice but to file a dispute with my credit card. This is simply robbery of the money we're owed. I must warn all of you to NEVER shop here, and I will post this review everywhere I can find unless/until this store remedies this situation. BTW, I have proof of all these emails. They may claim they did not receive them, but that's not my problem. That would be an issue on their email servers, which is still their responsibility. Let's see how this store chooses to respond. Hopefully it's not a generic response asking me to email wecare@whatever. Because my parents made such a large purchase, they're considered "VIP customers." If this is how they treat VIPs, I'm seriously AFRAID to find out how they treat regular customers. read more

Now I know most people read yelp for store reviews but don't necessarily think of the finance company until after they've financed furniture which is why I'm putting this on here... Ashley uses a finance company called REGIONAL MANAGEMENT CORP AKA REGIONAL FINANCE after I purchased my furniture and it was already in my home I found out you have to actually go into one of their Regional Finance to pay your bill (all locations are in inconvenient bad parts of town) They DO NOT have an online payment system and you CAN NOT pay over the phone... WTF its 2014 get it together... why a national company like Ashley Furniture would partner with a finance company that is so technologically behind I have no clue.. If I would have known this I would have went to Gallery Furniture or Rooms to go... The employees at Regional are rude, unfriendly, and very hard to deal with... I would say if you need to finance your furniture don't buy from Ashley which isn't directly their fault but the company they chose to partner with. read more

I use to LOVE Ashley's Furniture, but after coming to this store. I definitely will not be going anymore. This store sales men didn't even seem like they appreciated the fact we spent over 7k there. We should have received a call within two days for the delivery appt but never did. I called and the appt was already set for three weeks from that day! I was told at the store it wouldn't be so late but then I was also told half my sofa was incomplete so I have to wait till AUGUST! Over a month just for a sofa and bed. I went to rooms to go instead, spent $2300 less for the same bed with more features and leather sofas plus got it within 5 days of my order. I cancelled with Ashleys via phone as advised, the sales man seemed upset for the cancellation and hung up on me. Then to find out he never cancelled my order. I had to do everything all over again. It was so unnecessary . They need better customer services and stop lying about a lot of things. So disappointed. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. My wife and I are very reasonable people but this company is ridiculous. Bought a new house in Katy, were moving in the beginning of April so we went at the end of March to get furniture for our new home. It is now the middle of May and we have still not received some of what we ordered!! In my mind, a couple weeks of back ordered stuff was fine but it has now been 6 weeks and we still do not have a bed in our house. This bed was due to be delivered today but we received a call at 10pm last night telling us that, even though my wife took off of work today to be there, they would not be delivering anything because it wouldn't be in stock for another 3 weeks. It's just absurd and unprofessional. I'll never do business with them again. And I hope you don't either. Save yourself the headache. read more

Terrrrible experience. After shopping around and choosing my furniture I'm assuming my sales rep that was helping me at the time's shift was ending because he left before I could finish checking out. This I didn't mind at the time - I can check out on my own. I then was given the address of where I can pick up my furniture and was told one of my items was ready. I recruited a friend with a big enough vehicle to go out with me to pick up my item from their warehouse (40 minutes from central Houston) and was told they were unable to release my item to me because there was not a manager on shift that day. I called to complain to the store I bought it at and request free delivery, but they could care less. No apology, no basic customer service, it was an unsympathetic "too bad so sad" from the receptionist AND the store manager. The customer treatment is actually what angered me more than declining free delivery. I was told that I should have called ahead of going out there to pick it up, although I was NEVER instructed to do so. I had to figure everything out on my own since my sales rep left halfway through my checkout. I will never do business with Ashley Furniture again. read more

On Saturday, 11/24/2018 at 5:52pm I went into Ashley Homestore at 19660 Restaurant Row, Houston, Texas to purchase a queen size bed. I found one that I really adored - Ashley Queen Sleigh (Footboard, Headboard and Rail). The salesperson Levi that assisted me was very courteous with helping me and making sure I understood everything with the sale, delivery, and warranty plan. The bed was scheduled to be delivered Thursday 11/29/18, which was delivered and set up as scheduled. I had to work so I was unable to be at my home during delivery. My family member sent pictures of the bed after delivery and set up. At the time as I was at work and didn't pay too much attention to the color of the bed. Just excited everything was delivery and set up due to the next day I was scheduled to travel for out of the country for 8 days. When I got home at 5:45pm, opened the door to my bedroom the bed delivered was not the same bed in the store. The bed was a darker wood and much higher in height. At 6:04pm I called Ashley store 281-994-5320 (on hold for 39 mins). The customer service person asked me to give her the number from the purchase order and from behind the bed. Which I gave, and it was the same information they had but the color of the bed was totally different than in the store. Her suggestion was to go out to the store to speak with someone directly. Footnote: I took several pictures of the bed in the store at the time of purchase. At 6:30pm I drove 30mins to the store, meet with a salesperson who explained to me I could exchange the bed if I found something else in the store. After walking around, there was nothing that interested me for an exchange. The salesperson requested the manger to assist me - Grant Taylor (Manager). I explained to him the bed wood color was totally different, showed him the pictures and explained there was nothing in the store I wanted to exchange. Grant stated to me there was nothing he could do for me because the all the employees that worked in the customer service department called in today and I had to take care of the issue tomorrow. Then he went on to tell me that the lighting in my room was the reason the wood looked darker then bed wood in the store and walked away. The salesperson told me to call customer service 877-314-8457) again to see what they could do for me. I was hold for over an hour while walking around the store. Finally, spoke with Raheem in customer service, explained to him the situation at hand. Raheem stated that I would be granted refund for everything except the delivery fee, and it would be a week before they could pick up the furniture. I refuse to go into details of the conversation but with the assistance of another salesperson Norma I was finally able to get them to agree to refund the delivery fee. Due to my prior travel plans the bed wasn't picked until 12/13/19. Then it doesn't end there! I had to contact customer service department several times from 12/13 -1/7/2019 for the refund to my credit card. I will never recommend or shop at Ashley again after this experience. read more

I am just now being told that they now do not know when my furniture will make it to the warehouse ??? Why scheduled my delivery when you don't have the actual furniture in the warehouse? After someone finally answering the phone at the Katy location after my previous review, they tried to get the office/store manager to help me and she told them to get my name and number and she's call back in 30min-1hour. 1 1/2 hours later I never got a call so I called back and Lewis Brown tried to help me and get her again, she did not want to help and told him to take a message again. I asked Lewis if there was any information he could give me at all even if he couldn't actually help me, he was the only person to actually give me accurate dates on when my furniture would possibly arrive and the only person that seemed to care. Needless to say majority of the furniture was on back order (estimated delivery late 2022) and the stuff that wasn't wouldn't get here until late November/early December. He said there was almost no way it would've been 4-6 or even later this month bc they've been having these issues and the computer clearly shows but he was very helpful and apologized for how hard it's been to get any help. He's the only reason I would ever even consider going to Ashley again if delivery ever goes back to normal again. But we were definitely lied to in the beginning about the arrival date and how confident they were in it. I am cancelling my order today and going to Gallery Furniture. read more

I am a Real Estate Agent and referred my most important clients, my parents to Ashley to purchase an entire house of furniture after moving across country. They spent over $25,000 cash two months ago and are still waiting for the last delivery. They had to reject multiple items as they were damaged at delivery and on the 2nd delivery of the leather couch my Dad realized it was the same one looking at the pictures he took of the damage on the couch from the first delivery. Every piece of furniture delivered had some sort of damage with it - a supervisor even came out to so repairs on the brand new furniture. One of the cabinet glass doors was fogged and the repair guy who came didn't have the right tools to fix it. Days and days of waiting for furniture to be delivered over and over. Now the living room rug we just found out has been delivered 3 times to a different address in the neighboring town. It's beyond ridiculous and when the sales guy tells us their delivery department is terrible and to definitely reject the damaged furniture because they will try to get you to take it - we should have run. Now my parents will have to wait another 2 weeks and take another day to wait for a delivery. On a side note I have personally bought a living room set and media room and both of my pieces were delivered damaged as well this past spring but I thought it was a fluke or I would never have referred my parents. I purchased an electric recliner 3 years ago. I also purchased a 5 year warranty. Last week my motor went out. I filed a claim and it was denied. They said the motor wasn't covered. I went into the store to talk to a manager but was told he was in a meeting and I needed to contact customer service. I called them and they said I was out of luck. Looks like I will need to file in small claims. What a rip off company. Buyer beware. I will never step foot in Ashley again!!! read more

Found a great looking leather couch with matching side table at a great price at Ashley. I should have at that point run to any other furniture store in Houston. Original Delivery was supposed to be two days later which went by without a call. The next day I called to see why they did not deliver and found that they had mislabeled my purchase as a layaway. Delivery was rescheduled for the following week with apologies. Next week came by and was called the day before the delivery to say that most of the pieces were not available but they would be happy to make a partial delivery. I did not want to go down that nightmare route so delivery was scheduled for the following week. Third week into the saga the couch is finally delivered but lo and behold the matching table was the wrong color. The delivery guy pretty much begged me to keep it and return it myself so he wouldn't get docked on his reviews, after I said I was going to refuse the delivery he did everything in his power to blame some woman at the office. My redelivery was originally scheduled (without my knowledge, consent, etc.) for the day before but since no one was home (a lie my wife is full time at home she doesn't drive) and there was no one to take the call (I guess my entire office staff was out that day) they would have to reschedule for Tuesday (today) between 3 and 5. It is now Tuesday at 3pm and I just received my "courtesy call" saying they "might" get to me this evening... sometime... maybe... because they have 7 big deliveries ahead of me. 7 Big Suckers like me. So the tally is: 6 phone calls, 2 visits to the store, 5 weeks of being jerked around. All for a couch and a table. Absolutely worst delivery service I have ever encountered. You would assume for a costly delivery service that they would be prompt, helpful, and prepared - but they were not. The idiots who delivered my table didn't have the hardware to put it together, so they just left it. I am still waiting on the delivery team to show up and assemble the table, like they should have completed this morning. I have been on hold for over 40 minutes with 'customer service'. We went to purchase my son's bed a little over a month ago. When they delivered the bed, it was the wrong size even though I clearly told the sales rep several times that we needed a Full size bed and we both saw it online. They re-scheduled for a week later and then they again delivered the wrong size. My husband spoke with the sales rep and he told him that they would have to charge him the difference, even though it wasn't our fault so my husband told them to cancel the order and he ordered the bed on Ashley's website. They were going to deliver the bed via the regular post office so he cancelled that order too. I called the store manager, who was extremely rude and left me talking to myself and put the sales manager on the phone, he was nice and told me that the order was never cancelled and that they had it scheduled for delivery on the 24th. We patiently waited again, my husband received a call on the 23rd telling him that the bed would be delivered between 2:30-3:30 and then it was moved to 5 - 5:45, he specifically told the lady that we would not be home after 6 and that they had to deliver it within that time frame, which they didn't. They attempted delivery at 7:15 and of course, we were not home. Now they called him and told him that it will take 24-48 hours to get a new delivery date. Are you serious!?! How many people does it take to deliver ONE bed frame. This is totally ridiculous! I see why the ratings have dropped so drastically online and also on Yelp! I will be sure to add my own and also report it to the BBB. This is crazy! read more

I am editing this review because after leaving my previous review we were contacted by Shannon at the corporate office. My review of Shannon would be a 5 and my review of Ashley Furniture would be 0. Shannon tried very hard to get our correct furniture delivered and worked with us. I appreciate her reaching out to us. We got to be on a first name basis and when we kept having issues I knew I could call her and she would straighten everything out. Ultimately we did not receive the exact furniture we picked out but Shannon gave us a refund for that portion. I honestly wish that we could have dealt with her from the beginning. read more

My husband and I bought a theater style love seat with electric controls. We had it ONE WEEK, when one side started to slope down, the seat sank down, the frame looks bent and the chair is crooked when you look at it. We called for service. The guy came out and took pictures and said that since it was only one week in our home, they may just replace it or they will replace parts! It has been a month, we just got a call that the "parts" still are not available! Whatever "parts" that would be !! It will still be another month before "they" come in!!!! I am thoroughly disgusted by the lack of service and we paid for the extra 5 year service plan. I will not ever shop at Ashly again and suggest that you do not either. They do NOT live up to their warranty. They are so vague on the phone. Save yourself the aggravation!! read more

I give them two stars because they sometimes have pretty good deals and I have had no issues with a couch purchased there. I was really turned off by my experience today. I went in to look at couches/love seats. I left quickly, though, because the salesman was so pushy!! He followed me around the entire store and would not leave me alone. I really enjoy my privacy when shopping and feel very uncomfortable by pushy salesmen. In fact, when I indicated that I was going to leave to think about it the salesman insisted that I leave my contact information and asked twice if i would be coming back. I understand that they work on commission but that is overkill. read more

Worst customer service department since the invention of customer service. Bought over 5K of furniture and 2 rugs in May 2016. Furniture delivered without problem. We were told rugs would take 2 weeks. After 4 weeks and no rugs I tried to cancel order. Ashley refused. After 2 months the first rug was left on our porch. It is now mid October. No 2nd rug and no refund. Ashleys won't return my calls. I filed complaint with BBB and still nothing. Don't buy rugs unless you want to throw your money away. read more

No complaints about the sales guy, however delivery is a DISASTER and managers are ill trained. Shop here and plan to spend hours on the phone trying to get your furniture as scheduled or any other concerns resolved . Bad service!! we went and we choose a 4 piece living room set $3,300; very nice and we love it. they said that will be delivery 4-5 weeks; delivery day came; we were very excite it; 2 out 4 pieces had a broken leg and scratch up; they try to cover it up by using a wood color marker. so well my talked to the driver and a customer service; they said they'll be back in 2 days (Saturday between 8-5) to replace the damage furniture; so I call to confirm the delivery and to see if they can delivery in the morning; SUPRISE!! no delivery schedule were ever made and I have to wait 2 more weeks; since there's no more sofas available. I explained the customer agent the conversation that my wife had with a customer agent; they said there's no recollection of that conversation at this point I'm getting very upset. I had no furniture since I gave my old furniture away. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! every time I called they put me in hold forever to fix this issue; I asked for a manager to see if he or she can solve this situation; well no manager came to the phone and talked to me; I'm so furious; so I canceled my whole order and since I had apply for their Ashley Credit card I cancel it too. a week has gone by and no pick up delivery has been schedule ; so i call customer service again and she said i'll personally take care of it; so they can schedule a pick; has been 4 day( Sept. 19 2016) and nobody has contact it me to inform me when will come to pick up he 2 pieces of furniture left at my house. so stay away from this place; funny when they put you in hold when you call; they brag being the best customer service in the world; really!!?
