Bought some furniture from this store and we were promised that they will be delivered at a certain date. Two days before the delivery date, customer service called and left a message saying they couldn't deliver on the promised date because some of the furniture ordered were not in from the manufactuer yet. We had family coming in for the weekend so we needed whatever is available to be delivered on the promised date. Whoever called me (found out later his name is Rocky) then promised that some of the furniture would be delivered on the promised date and the rest would be delivered a week later. He also said that because of the inconvenience he was going to give us a$150 in-store coupon. One week later we didn't get any calls for delivery so we went to the North Decatur store where we bought the furniture. They said that their computers are down although they were able to check that our missing furniture were already in stock. Gave us the run-around and said that nobody could promise a delivery date when a change order is done. While we were talking to the customer service rep, the sales manager (Hoyt Ballou) was just sitting there listening. After being given so many excuses we decided to just cancel the order for the furniture that was not delivered. When we ordered the furniture we paid in full with our debit cards. They said that they couldn't give cash back, refund will be sent from corporate office in Arizona. OK, so when will the amount be refunded to our debit card? Their answer: within 72 hours. It's now 85 hours after we were promised that refund and fund is not on my account yet. Well, if that is the way they do business I wouldn't be surprised if I they close within the next few months because not too many people go to that store and they don't know how to deal with their unhappy customers. Sometimes it's easier to deal with Chinese businesses because they keep their word. No wonder American businesses are losing their grip on the American people. The only reason I give this store a star a all is because of our salesperson Lorraine. She was very nice. We saw a leather sectional on their showroom floor that was perfect! It was dark leather with light, thick stitching. When it was delivered it looked completely different, dark leather dark stitching. It was definitely not what I imagined for the $3,500 we spent. After talking to their horrible customer service department they said the manufacturer changed the stitching. I asked why the old model was still on the floor and their response was to call the store and see if they would let me have the floor model...WHAT???!!! The store said they would give us a $50 credit. Ha! I told them to come get the furniture. It was such a letdown because we just bought a new house and will be needing a lot of furniture. We will take our business where we get what we pay for and are treated with courtesy and respect. I will NEVER shop Ashley furniture again! Today my family and I went to your store searching for a bedroom set as well as out door furniture we were greeted by Isabel when we walked in who was very nice, we let her know we were just browsing and we would alert her if we had any questions. As we were browsing the store she began following us around interrupting our conversations letting us know that she was there. I advised her that we already have a sales associate that we deal with since my family as well as my parents have made purchases at this store in the past. We began looking in the mattress section where she approached us once again interrupting our conversations letting us know that there was special financing options available and started detailing them out like we could not afford a purchase at regular price and needed a payment plan. This is very concerning that an associate of your store would for one continue to approach customers when they specifically stated they have an associate they deal with and second acting as if we could not afford the merchandise and needed a payment plan. At this point we felt like she was a used car sales man and walked out of the store. It is very dis-hearting how desperate isabel seemed to make a sale and would not listen to the customer. If we had any questions we would of asked but instead we were followed around and had our conversations interrupted numerous times. Our experiences at this store have been fantastic in the past that is why our families only deal with one individual. Other associates in the store asked how we were doing and said let us know if you need anything and proceeded on. This experience now makes us want to explore more options in the Las Vegas area instead of only committing to one store. It is not only the price of something that draws people in but the level of service / listening the associate can adhere to from a customer... Looked online for something for my new home, found some nice chairs (pub style) that would go with my kitchen island. Online it says they are on sale. Says they are originally $99.99, they are on sale for $99.00. WTF. So i go in to the store thinking it would be different. Get there and the prices on the chairs say $199.00 for the regular height chairs and $249.00 for the ones I wanted. First off, I absolutely hate walking in to the stores because the sales people fucking pester and annoy the shit out of you every fucking chance they get. So i find a guy and ask him what the price for 2 chairs would be, he says let me find the price ( I already know the price). He comes back and says they are Originally $249.00 but I can sell them to you for $99.99 each. I tell him they are already priced that online. So I think to myself well I know they give a Military discount so ill be able to take some money off the $99.99 so what the hell. He then tells me that they recently dropped the discount from 40% to 35%. Then he tells me that I can only get the discount off of the original $249.00 price. Which would make them $162.00 are you fucking kidding me. This place is absolute bullshit on the planet thissuckscameldick. I have never really been compelled to write a review on a company until now. I was shopping in this Ashley store looking at a sofa I was interested in towards the front of their nicely displayed store. While looking at this sofa I was almost certain I wanted to buy, I couldn't get my thoughts together because the manager of the store was sitting at his desk on the phone arguing with who I assume to be a customer. It was very uncomfortable for me to say they least. What happened afterwards floored me. He hung up the phone and with no regard for his surroundings he proceeded to say quite loudly "What a bitch!" I could not believe MANAGEMENT would, first of all, use such language regarding anyone while they are in a position of power and, secondly, say it with me mere feet away with no regard for me as a new customer. Needless to say I will NEVER again set foot in this store. I will make sure no one I know does either. Sharks will try to rip you off.. Low inventory.. I shopped at Ashleys last year at the location on MLK and it was such a great experience. When i walked into THIS location everyone was friendly, greeted me and asked if I needed help....I found a bedroom set, the manager helped me and things went all downhill at the register!!......the manager discounted the bedroom set and added a $400 Extended Protection (EP) coverage. I advised him i did not want the EP coverage and he told me thats why he discounted the bedroom set so i could take the EP. He was not happy that i didnt want the Extended Protection & he even pulled the other manger to come talk to me, she said the EP was 'like a gift' they were giving me. After 10 minutes, they finally listened and removed the coverage and told me i would have to pay full price & he tried to up charge me on the delivery, (that was a 2nd argument). I ordered two recliners (but one, get one free) on black Friday weekend. Came out to a little over $800. The delivery date was set for 12/11, then delayed to 12/27, then delayed to 1/1 maybe if they come into the warehouse. In other words, they sell items that don't actually exist. I say don't charge my bank account until the item is actually shipped, and don't make promises that won't be kept. Better off ordering from Costco or RC Wiley, I've never had this issue from them. This Ashley furniture store has really good customer service and sales associates. I bought a kids furniture set about a month ago and noticed one of the foot board bolts was loose. After trying to tighten it I realized that it was completely stripped and bent. So I tried to see if I can order the bolt from Ashley since I couldn't find the same bolt at a local hardware store such as Lowes and Home Depot. They said it would take 7 to 20 days to get the hardware which was way too long. They realized that I had just purchased the bed set about a month ago so they did an even exchange so I could get my son's bed back up. I was really happy that that Melissa CSR was able to do a even exchange even though I just needed a bolt. My parents and I went here with every intention of buying my son a new mattress. We walked through the entire store before finding the kids mattresses. We didn't know what different kinds they offered and we didn't know where to find a certain kind we were looking for, but for 20 minutes we wandered around trying to find someone to help us. Finally, we decided to take our business elsewhere. My dad was in a wheelchair and I was pushing a stroller so we had to push in a few chairs to get through and not one person offered to help. So yet again we are facing another delay in our order. Judging by the reviews, from which I'm feeling regretful not taking Into account before my purchase, these "Delays" happen quite often. I don't understand how Ashley Furniture is running it's business but I refuse to be another customer subjected to this unorganized manufacturing. When I first purchased my $1,900 living room set, I was initially mislead that everything was available to be shipped with exception of our large couch, that this specific item was "back ordered". So if it was ok, the shipment won't take 2 weeks like the rest of the furniture, but a month to have the specific couch produced. So we decided to wait the month and have all our furniture delivered together. A month came. I received another call to update us that my couch was still unavailable and our furniture would be delayed for another week. At this point I tossed out my furniture to get ready for our new furniture. So now I'm stuck with no furniture, more days to wait for our furniture to be delivered, and an empty apartment where I am suppose to host my daughter's 4th birthday party. Brilliant right? No where for our guest to sit. 2 days later I receive a call from a representative insuring me my full order was to arrive shipped to my apartment on the 10th. It is the 7th, our delivery is to be here in 3 days. So ok cool, FINALLY my furniture will be here. But I spoke to soon, I receive yet another call to inform me everything is ready to go except for my Accent Chair and rug, items that have been ready to be shipped since I placed my order. Which doesn't make any sense. I need someone of high management to contact me as soon as possible. I am ready to sink in further and seek out legal authority with this common issue wig Ashley Furniture, and I have been patient enough. I cannot wait anymore for my furniture. read more

The Ashleys Furniture on 215 & Decatur was probably the worst customer service and overall experience I've had. The sales associates were not very knowledgeable, and weren't too eager to help. While in the store they repeatedly asked me for my credit card number, social security number, and home address out loud in front of other customers. After mentioning to them that i did not feel comfortable with sharing my personal info. out loud, the sales associate got an attitude with me. I actually purchased over $5k in furniture and upon delivery, the furniture was damaged and incomplete. The dresser was cracked and the railings for my King size bed didn't fit. There was no mirror for the dresser, and now I'm left with no bed, mirror, or dresser on a Friday delivery. I called customer service and they were apologetic, but told me that there was nothing they could do. I can't imagine that I would EVER shop at Ashleys Furniture again. We just bought a new sectional sofa in Ashley Furniture, Las Vegas, NV. We are so impressed with it. We have a new home and building it step by step. This is our first furniture. We first checked few other shops. Everything was either costly or the quality was not so good. We just happened to see this Ashley showroom while returning from a trip. This was the first time we visited Ashley. We ended up buying. Here the price is very much affordable when compared to other showrooms. And this showroom at Sahara was newly opened . So there was an additional discount too. Furniture were very well organized and the sales person was so nice. He helped us finalize. The delivery was perfect. They assembled it in matter of minutes. We highly recommend this showroom. We are planning to visit again to buy few more items! read more

My husband and I went it to browse at their sectionals a week ago , we had bought our bedroom set the year before and loved the quality of the pieces. We greeted right away, and our salesperson Byron was super helpful and knowledgeable of their sales. We came in during their "Black Friday event" to see if we could get a leather sectional in a certain price point. Byron was excited to tell us about their tempurpedic mattresses event even though we were not in the market for one . He was very understanding that we just wanted a sectional, but he stressed that if we did their mattress demo it would be worth our wild. And low and behold it was. My husband and I are not naive and we know that going into a furniture store is like going to a car dealership, but this experience was different they really wanted to make sure that we were taken care of. Prior to the mattress demo we were looking at a discount of 26% off the sectional. If we decided to do the mattress they dropped the cost of the sectional to equal roughly 80% off the retail cost. We did love the mattress and decided to take the plunge. We ended up getting a killer dealer that pretty much ended up like a buy one get one. And their sales manager Julian even knocked off the cost of shipping . We were super excited ! But when the furniture was delivered it was missing a piece ( which they had called to tell us about a few day prior ) so I was already expecting two deliveries. When our first delivery came one of the men was so careless that he broke/damaged some of our property. I was so upset that I wanted to cancel the other item. My husband and I decided to go in and cancel in person. We were greeted by Byron again and he recognized us right away . I explained that I wanted to cancel and he took us up to costumer service and stayed with us until we were all set. I explained that I wanted to cancel the final piece and they told me that there would be no money back since it was a package and urged me not to cancel ( since in reality it didn't make sense too ) But still fuming from my delivery experience I vented and explained everything that had happened (which I had no plans too) Their costumer service manager Kristina gave me corporates # to complain ( which I didn't want too , since typically that goes no were) . But she took care of the order and actually changed it for something that would be better for us at no extra. Later that evening we received a call from Kristina were she informed us that she had called corporate on our behalf and that they needed some photos to show the damages .The very next day a representative called and reimbursed us for all our damaged property all on the same day. And of course Kristina called to confirm that our order would be delivered within the week and to make sure that we were all taken care of. This staff has gone above and beyond to make sure that we are pleased and really gave us the VIP treatment. My husband and I have been very pleased with our service and end products from Ashley's and we plan to continue to shop there. read more

We usually don't like purchasing furniture without seeing it first but we liked it so much we bought it and couldn't be happier. My wife and I recently visited the Decatur location looking for a bedroom set with a temperpedic mattress. The sales person seemed alittle scattered and not sure of herself. This place is absolutely horrible. I am disabled and it was hard enough for me to go to the store and walk around and try to find a decent chair I could be comfortable in. I was ready to make the purchase and just have something ASAP as I just moved here and my furniture hadn't arrived yet so I was willing to shell out the price of a decent chair so I wouldn't be in pain. I specifically asked the sales guy for a power recliner, because with my disability I don't have the mobility to activate a manual recliner. Even with a power recliner it was tough, while in the show room the power recliner tilted on me and I had to get help from a couple of the store employees. After deciding on a chair - which was higher priced than I would have liked, but the situation was desperate - I go through the purchase process and feel relief thinking I'd have a decent chair and not have to deal with the pain in my legs from the stiff couch at home. When the chair arrives, it looked right, like the exact same chair, the delivery guys set it up and rush out the door. When I sit in it i realize it's the manual not the power recliner. I called about it and first thing they ask me is "Did you accept delivery?" Come to find out the sales guy put in the invoice manual recliner not power recliner, like I asked for. So not checking their sales guy's work is somehow my fault? accepting delivery is my fault? They accept no responsibility? So in order to get the right chair I have to pay more, even though the sales guy walked through the price with me including delivery, and protection plan for the Power Recliner we looked at in store. So i wanted a full refund, and not give them my business even if i had to eat the cost of the delivery. Fine rip me off for $100 instead of $1000, but even though the website says you can return or exchange with in 3 days, and i called the day of delivery and typing this review after a long frustrating day of dealing with customer service, they're claiming a no refund policy. Because stores don't have to abide by corporate policy? Is that even legal? Whatever, I am no lawyer and I'm sure they get away with ripping off their customers all the time, but I am no longer going to be an Ashley customer. These people were horrible and the store manager was so disrespectful and rude treating me like I'm the idiot because the invoice they looked at says manual recliner instead of power, while the invoice i got from the sales guy doesn't specify one bit if it's power or manual. I just took him at his word that what we were discussing was accurate. Do yourself a favor, record everything on your phone to refer back to if you're going to trust these scammers. Also Yelp, please give the option to give 0 stars. One star is too high a review for Ashley Home Store at 6425 N. Decatur in Las Vegas. Horrible place! I purchased a bedroom set in September and they didn't deliver it until the first week of December! They kept changing the delivery dates constantly last minute and communication was horrible. They also forgot to include the lamps, painting and the comforter set that was supposed to be included in the bedroom set. Never do business there! read more

My husband and I went to Ashley to maybe buying new living room furniture the salesman said they have a great warranty on all their furniture so we bought a new sectional and a recliner about year ago, now the reclining chair has already broke and the the LED screen that operates the recliners on the couch is now going out. My husband contacted Ashley's who then referred him to the warranty company who of course had all our info wrong because Ashley's didn't give them the correct info. Funny because someone ended coming to our house and took pictures of the furniture (he was from Ashley not the warranty company), as of today almost 2 wks later we still have not heard back from them so I called Ashley's this morning and spoke with a representative who proceeds to tell me that the chair which has broke is normal wear and tear, so apparently Ashley's furniture is only supposed to last a year and for the electronic controls for our sectional recline chair she had no results on that at all. We are supposed to be getting a call back after the representative talked to the warranty company but I don't this will happen. I will take this further if I have too as it is rediculous that we paid a lot of money to have our furniture break and the controls go out in a year and not have Ashley's do anything about it. read more

I would have listed zero stars but it doesn't allow it on this app. I have ordered Furniture numerous times in my lifetime but this was by far my least favorite experience. First of all I ordered two separate couches and 2 side tables in which neither myself nor the salesperson caught at the time that the order was originally placed and I only noticed it when the furniture was delivered. So I figured the easiest solution would be to just order the second table online and pick it up at the store and that would be it. Nope wouldn't take my order online so I called this store and after speaking with their customer service for over an hour they highly suggested that I needed to come into the store to order it for they were having an issue with ordering it. Well the problem is I'm in the middle of a medical issue that causes me pain when I nedd to move around so I do not leave my house often but in this case since my husband was not available I went into the store, for it's difficult using only one table. Big mistake everything I was told the day before about coming in and ordering it for pickup at that store was false. They do not order for pick up at their store and also the gentleman that was assisting me I believe, was ordering the wrong item, for my table is only $172 online and the amount came out to over a hundred $185 and that is with, per the sales person, 50% off the table and no delivery charge for the errors that were made. I felt after seeing the amount come up, that this Comedy of Errors was not going to stop so I cancelled the order and left. Sure enough once I made it home I looked online for the table in question and the salesman was ordering the wrong item. At this point I was done. No table is worth what I had to go through to even go into the store. Also please note per the sales rep if you don't order over $300 you cannot use your Ashley credit card. I have no issue paying cash for my items and I would have except that seemed so wrong to me, for if they did not want you to use their credit card why do they issue it. I did send a message to customer service but at this time I do not feel I would continue shopping with this company. read more

my bed fell apart a year after i bought it. curently , all the screws are falling out of various parts of my bed. the wood is too soft for the screws to withhold and they come out over time. the metal in each corners of the bed also dented. read more

I took a break from Ashley the past 10 years or so, and I'm so beyond happy I went back. My husband and I were having trouble agreeing on new bedroom furniture after we went to a king size. Myself wanting something to match our home (rustic) and him wanting quality. What I wanted that matched was pressed wood and definitely not long lasting.. what he wanted was solid wood but NOT my style. We finally found our bed at Walker but it was so ridiculously over priced we passed and waited. (Months) I was looking online for sales for Presidents Day and sure enough the exact bed set we wanted was on Ashley website for half the price! My rustic, and solid wood. I went into the store and it was displayed and beautiful. I asked if they would match their online price. The manager, Jeremy, from that point on was beyond helpful. He explained the enormous price difference is because Ashley is the actual manufacturer. Not only did he price match but talked us into getting the protection plan that I originally passed on because I didn't think it covered cracks. It covers EVERYTHING. At that point I decided to purchase another large piece of the bedroom set because he price matched and covered both items. Being in the hospitality industry I value and appreciate good customer service, being personable and knowledgeable.. and Jeremy was outstanding!! This was only last weekend and it was delivered and set up this weekend. Those guys were also incredible. Protected my door ways, set up, and cleaned up so quickly. Everything about this experience was perfect. I'v purchased a lot of furniture this past year and wish I went to Ashley sooner, but I'll definitely be going back to this store from now on. read more

I'm only giving one star because that is the lowest I can give !!! We purchased our 5 piece bedroom set and dining room set from Ashley Furniture on Martin Luther King Store in Las Vegas. The salesman talked us into purchasing the extended warranty on all of it. Basically he told us what we wanted to hear, which none of it was the truth. Before you pay for anything make sure you get whatever they tell you in writing because they DO NOT keep their word and will do NOTHING to resolve it. I purchased some living room furniture 4/27/15 and Ashley's Furniture plugged me a 5 Year Upholstery Plan for $129.99 that would cover any accidental spills. They also advised me that if you didn't use the Warranty Plan within the 5 years, you would be given a in store credit for the plan amount. What they failed to advise me in the store as they were plugging this plan, was if you move out of the area it VOIDS the warranty. I noticed this is some paperwork that they gave after I completed my transaction and my credit card was billed. I called the store and ask about it and was advised there was nothing they could do, I was out the $129.99 if I moved out of the area. I am considering moving out of the area, so the bottom line is I just threw $129.99 in the trash if I move. Also I looked at the same living room set 3 times and every time I saw it the price was changed based on the sale they were doing. If it was a higher sale discount the original price went up and if it was a lower sale discount the original price went down. I know what I call this (price manipulation), what do you as a customer call it? I recommend that buyers pay attention to both their pricing and Fabric Warranty Plan. I was given an Ashley Furniture $6500 limit credit card, but I can guarantee you this, I will never use it again. read more

First and foremost I would like to state that my family and I have been longtime Ashley Furniture patrons. I went in just on chance to look for some counter stools on the weekend. I was greated at the front door, explained all the promotional offers and found exactly what I was in search of. However after I got home and was going through paperwork for the purchase $681.54 for 4 chairs. I had a question about the width of the item to see if I should have purchased 5 instead of 4 for the counter area. As I am on line looking up specifications of this item I happen to notice that the price for the item in store $199.00 but online price $81.00 WITH FREE SHIPPING TO YOUR HOME. Now I understand making a profit but as far as I am concerned this is absolute price gouging. I attempted to contact the store to cancel order. They do not pick up the phone till 35 minutes past opening and then apparently their managers and store employee who sold me items are the busiest people on the face of the earth. I have time to make contact between patients but for some reason it is almost impossible to reach someone. My total cost on line for the 4 items $365.01 delivered in two days.
